So, I just happened to come across this. But it appears that Square's hiring an Online Game Planner for FFXV. It's possible this could be for a feature in FFXV.

Technically every PS4 & Xbox One game has "online features".

 

But honestly, this was no surprise. The online features in Lightning Returns were pretty cool.

That's because trophies weren't a thing when the PS3 first launched, old games don't have trophies unless they were updated with them but everything nowadays has trophy support

I wonder why though? If they think that trophies add more replayabilty than old gen games just cause they are trophies they are kidding themselves.

there've been studies. Basically, because of trophies/achievements, people are significantly less likely to trade in a game because the average player doesn't feel like they've really 'beaten' the game, and tell themselves they'll go back and beat more of it some day
