The obvious one will be the New Nintendo 3DS release date. Another is an update for Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem! It's basically the KH3 of Nintendo except not that popular compared to KH3. Devil Survivor 2 Record Breaker might be there on the Direct too. And maybe a new Paper Mario, Star Fox, & Metroid for Wii U.

I'm not 100% sure if they give Pokémon announcements its own direct, but the new direct could have something Pokémon related. Like Pokémon Z or X2Y2 or something. Or the GF project GF was excited about.

We've been kinda discussing this in the other thread, but Xenoblade will be shown, that's been confirmed. I'm betting on Xenoblade 3D. Aside from that? Smash DLC/update and New 3DS information, definitely.

Well, it said that it would cover Wii U & 3DS in the spring, so I'm guessing:- New Nintendo 3DS release date and price.- Majora's Mask 3D release date.- Codename S.T.E.A.M. release date.- Last Kirby and the Rainbow Curse trailer.- Yoshi's Wooly World release date.- Xenoblade Chronicles (3DS) release date.- Xenoblade Chronicles X release date.- Hyrule Warriors Majora's Mask DLC trailer and release date.That's the only stuff I'm confident on. There is other stuff in the pipeline, but there has been so little shown that it is hard to judge the progress with things like Mario Maker and Mario Party 10. My crazy prediction (because you always need one) is that they will reveal Metroid 3DS coming out later this year.

Dude, I'm with you. I would love an update on Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem, along with Star Fox U and Zelda U, but a January Direct devoted to the 2015 spring will probably not be the place. Since Zelda and Star Fox are coming out this year, I could see them each popping up in at least 1 Direct before E3, but I think SMT x FE is going to be revealed as a 2016 game at this E3. Hope I'm wrong!

KIRBY AND THE RAINBOW CURSE! We know not much about it and it's coming out next month in America! Also, Mario Maker, the Smash Bros Miiverse stage, Majora's Mask 3D, the New 3DS, Xenoblade (even if I don't want it!), the wave 3 Amiibo official release date, and possibly the Majora's Mask DLC for Hyrule Warriors.

my humble prediction

 

- New 3DS release details for NA, comes out next month

- members of the Ambassador Program will have New 3DSes delivered to their door for free to apologize for the delay from JP/AUS release, Reggie will personally hand-deliver each one

- Xenoblade N3DS confirmed as N3DS launch title

- Mother Trilogy remake announced for N3DS; open-world remakes of entire Mother series with the best graphics and CPU hoodoo the N3DS can provide

- Smash DLC characters revealed; every character that everyone has ever wanted in Smash is in, including Geno, Ridley, etc.

- All the hard-to-find Amiibos will be reprinted

- New F-Zeros announced for 3DS and Wii U, 2015 will be the Year of the Falcon

- 3D Metroid by Retro Studios announced

- Xenoblade Chronicles X is available now and being downloaded for free to everyone's Wii U system, will still somehow be installed even if all of your memory is used up

- Nintendo announces new partnership with Square Enix: Xenosaga remasters are coming to Wii U, new game in the series in development; Square is developing Super Mario RPG 2 for Wii U, will be "on the scale of Final Fantasy XV and even bigger;" KH3 is coming to Wii U, this version will have an exclusive bundle with KH3D HD

- One last thing... Zelda U is already out, was released on the eShop a week ago, Iwata is surprised no one has noticed it on there yet
