Years ago (don't know how many) on Facebook, I remember myself typing up a status about Yen Sid's Keyblade.

I forgot how I typed it up, but I think I remember all what I said.

As a retired Keyblade Master, could Yen Sid's Keyblade be the Star Seeker?

I was thinking that years ago because:

1. The way it's designed.

2. In BBS, he does look at the stars.

3. Well, despite him being retired, he IS a Keyblade Master. And what's a Keyblade Master without his Keyblade. (I think that was # 3)

This new topic kind of brings up my old topic concerning Keyblades and personalities.

But I just wonder that.

So, could it be?

Well, the Star Seeker is Mickey's OG Keyblade (and then he found the Kingdom Key D in the RoD and took his shirt off for some reason) so it's feasible that Yen Sid passed the Star Seeker down to Mickey as his apprentice. Given that Keyblade Masters can borrow other people's Keyblades from time to time, it's not hard to imagine that you can permanently borrow a Keyblade from someone, though I don't think it's ever been formally addressed by Nomura or anyone else.

Personally though, I prefer the idea of Yen Sid having his own unique Keyblade. Everyone else gets one, even characters that don't make sense, so why shouldn't he?

I actually find it incredibly likely that the Keyblade Mickey was given was Yen Sid's and then Mickey just started using the Kingdom Key D through most of the other games. (Except for Coded for some reason)

Yeah. It just brings this idea of mine up.

"Looks at the Kingdom Hearts 3 Keyblade. Then looks at Ephemera's Keyblade*

My god, they're one and they same! The same freakin' stars, the same color pallette.....oh, snap! DX

Makes sense to me. The moment I saw the drawing for it, I immediately thought of Yen Sid's Keyblade. That guy is freakin' awesome, I hope we at least get to see a flashback of him wielding it.

I have a feeling we'll see either a flashback of him using or training with it, or we'll see him in future events wielding it in battle. Say, to protect his castle, Mickey, or something else entirely...perhaps he could even be protecting the Tome.

(Sorry, I edited my previous comment)

But your could be right. I have a gut feeling that Yen Sid knows all about the Tome, and hasn't said anything about it for whatever reason. Ah, Yen Sid....such a lovable Wizard, but a horrendous procrastinator. xD
