Overall, even with C's, 99.9% of us have good grades.

 

Jeny, it is okay, you didn't dun goof, I got a 56% in History freshman year.

Digital Photography & Graphics I(one of my high school course, which I enjoyed): 100

Honors Pre-Algebra A & B: 85(I fail....)

Spanish: 98(Surprised...I thought I failed that.)

Honors Life Science: 100

Honors Art: 99(it would've been 100 but I got lazy at the end of the year)

Literary Analysis and Composition I: 100(another high school course)

 

This year I'll be taking three high school courses plus my normal 8th grade courses.

I'd first have to explain the system.. You have two courses which you see more than the other courses in the week, those are called 'Leistungskurs'. Unlike the general 'Grundkurs', they're weighted twice. My Leistungskurse are English and Data processing 1.

 

Best mark is 15 points, worst mark (with which you also fail) is 0 points.

 

Math: 14p.

English: 14p.

German: 13p.

Data processing 1 (general C++): 9p.

Data processing 2 (Developing Monopoly in a group lol): 11p.

Data processing 3 (Digital electronics): 11p.

Physics: 7p. (I HATE PHYSICS SOOOO MUCH)

Philosophy: 11p.

Politics: 11p.

History: 14p.

Sports: 2p. lol always skipped it

those are solid grades dude

LOOOOL. i just barely noticed that LOL.

 

i'd have to say that the only class that i actually passed with flying colors was health and art. health because...we always did tests with the textbook LOL. if not, i'd fail that class too.

 

i don't even wanna remember world geography. *shudders*...

Remember though its different in Australia how its done.

Americans probably work and study so much because they don't want to go to Summer School, lucky us Aussies we don't have summer school.

dont you guys have college? you wont be able to get a good job if you dont get a good college and grades.

 

bad education = Crappy job= LITTLE MONEY= shitty lifestyle

Good education= good job= ALOTOMONEY! = very good later life.

The funny thing in Australia, well at least most of it our High School is called College in the schools name. lol i know.

That's not necessarily the case of why we study so hard, some of it has to do with Honors and scholarships and not getting in trouble with family and then some of us are taught to study hard, idk it differs.
