Maybe this will help you find the right system for you!

PS4- For people who prefer watching games to playing them

XB1- For people who want a worse version of the PS4 with early Call of Duty DLC

WiiU- For people who want Nintendo games and ONLY Nintendo games

Vita- For people who like JRPGs that double as porn

PlayStation TV- For people who want to spend over a hundred dollars to play Persona 4

3DS- For people who want RPGs or SRPGs

3DS XL- For people who want to play RPGs or SRPGs without squinting

New 3DS XL- For people who want to play RPGs or SRPGs with 3D that works (bring your own charger)

New 3DS- For people who want to play RPGs or SRPGs with 3D that works, and enjoy buying things from scalpers (bring your own charger, and I REALLY hope you're not planning to transfer data from an old 3DS)

PC- For people who want a wide variety of games that don't work very well on PC

Alternatively, you could buy a PS2. Lots of great games. All super cheap

You just hate just about everything, don't you?On another note, what is the bug deal with people having to classify system's? Why don't we just, I don't know, enjoy our videogames and don't gripe about every single little thing except paid DLC, because that shit ain't cool.Personally, I'll play any system that has games that appeal to me (Mostly Nintendo for my RPG'S and PC for any sort of multiplayer or shooter I play (only really play TF2, if I'm honest, in that category, and some Playstation games, but I'm an RPG nut, so yeah, Playstation isn't the exact best for that (still good, but not perfect for me), but I'll still pick up their systems if I can justify buying one) and don't care much about the rest. Graphical quality and super ergonomic controlers are nice, but not nessicary. One thing I wish games did more on consoles was allow custom controls, like on PC. Something I wish PC did more for me was give me a wider range of good RPG'S (JRPG's being my personal favorite kind of RPG to play.)to have at. They have your normal Skyrim and Dark Soul's and the like, but they feel more around for the visuals and combat than the story or the world your in, in general. Nothing wrong with that, just my personal thought.Anyway, this is just my thought. We all get so caught up in the "what is best" and forget to enjoy sometimes.

That is absolutely not true. Tons of PS2 games- mostly ones I want to play- are hella expensive.

... There's only, like, one game I know that applies to this stereotype.

I think you need to try harder. :/

Really? I mean I''m sure some more obscure ones are expensive, but the most I usually see for a PS2 game nowadays is 20 bucks. Usually more like 5 bucks. 99 cents if you find them in an actual store

Final Fantasy, Uncharted, The Order 1888, off the top of my head

PS4 has pushed the "cinematic experience" card far harder than any other console

Xbox360 ps1 all the other really old consoles ok never mind who am I to judge but isn't this a kingdom hearts website not a gameing for all consoles and games website just saying and here come the angry comments saying no these are just modern consoles why way my word here is done

Actually ignore that comment I was being stupid didn't see basic next gen consoles but btw like in said there this is kh website plus the original 3ds isn't a next gen console

Just saying Lemon signing out

Ah. Well, there are no FF (except the MMO one) or Uncharted titles on PS4 right now and that last game isn't out yet. So what's your point?

Why would we measure a console only by the games released

Why would we measure a console only by the games released

... Because we actually can judge the games if they're released instead of just pointing fingers at something we haven't even played yet? I would think that would be obvious.

the day they release Uncharted game that's not focused on cinematic set pieces or a Final Fantasy game without hours of cutscenes is the day Destiny lives up to the hype

Touche, sir. Touche.

Some are cheap online (mostly RPGs of some kind, including every PS2 KH game, so yeah, the PS2 is like the Holy Grail for that kinda shit), but a lot of well known fan favorites like God Hand, Okami, Shadow of the Colossus, both Star Wars: Battlefront games, just to name a few, are all at least $50.

But oh my god, I want to live wherever the hell you do if your local game stores even carry PS2 games, let alone sell them for that cheap. Everywhere around me sells a meager amount of games from that gen, and never less than $20 even for a used copy.

lately I only see a few random PS2 games, but sometimes I'll be lucky and run into something cheap. I have most PS2 games I want, so I never really buy, but they're out there, especially at pawn shops.

You know what place is CRAZY when it comes to this though? A city in Hawaii... I think Oahu? Can't quite recall, but I went there on vacation a year ago, they had used copies of ICO AND OKAMI for 28 dollars apiece. I was so pissed when they refused to accept my Canadian debit card. I wish I'd cut a deal with my parents or SOMETHING because stuff like that doesn't happen every day

(also, I guess this magical world is Canada, because I just looked online, and they have used Okami for PS2 for 20 bucks on Amazon. And Canada always fgets the worst prices, so I'm sure you can find it yourself)

Ah, I should have mentioned I don't even consider buying used online. I've been burned by Amazon sellers way too many times (I bought a multiplatform Gamecube game from some guy a while back, and when I got it in the mail, he'd sent me the PS2 version of the game. Bullshit, I tells ya). Buying used physically makes refunds or returns a thousand times easier, but again, games are hard as hell to find for a reasonable price.

I've been burned a lot too, which is why I only buy cheap things like games online. Nothing quite like having a couple hundred dollars stuck in limbo for months as you try to get SOMEONE to do something about it

Wait is something bad about transferring your old 3DS data to the New 3DS XL because I am going to do that tomorrow...

I don't really know where to start

so I'll just let this video explain it

When will people start calling the "next gen" consoles current gen? I mean PS4 and XB1 have been around for over a year now.

Maybe this will help you find the right system for you!

PS4- For people who prefer watching games to playing them

XB1- For people who want a worse version of the PS4 with early Call of Duty DLC

No.... This is total ignorance.

I've personally never witnessed anyone I know with a PS4 watching a game on it, they're all too busy enjoying their free PS+ games.  As my game professor said though, it's not about the hardware, it's about the software (the games themselves).  No one should buy a console based on it's specs alone but whichever is more likely to have the games they like.  Personally like playing on near all these consoles bar PSTV and the Xbone (I prefer the Xbox 360, Banjo Kazooie <3)

When will people start calling the "next gen" consoles current gen? I mean PS4 and XB1 have been around for over a year now.

Some people just struggle to get used to it out of habit.  Or they find it weird to call PS3 and Xbox 360 last gen.

No.... This is total ignorance.

Respect +1%Although, as of late, that's basically a lot of Hatok postings. I'm not saying he is ignorant, but he dose take things at face value and then posts about it. And always posts extreme pessimism In threads on new releases coming.I.E., one from somewhat recent memory was the Xenoblade X thread after a small showing of the starting plot outline. We know very little about how the game is going to be, but he had began to more or less say he had no hope in the story at all and sort of ruin the mood of "more news!".

I know what you mean. It's getting a tad out of hand.

Not "bad" per se, but it is incredibly overly complicated.
