What is the use of defeating heartless and dusks when they always come back?

Posted

What is the use of defeating them? No matter how much times keybladers defeat them, they always comeback, no matter what. But sure, defeating them releases hearts and thus save people. But, what is the use of saving them when someone heart is stolen in a couple of seconds later? Can the Heartless, Dusks and people work on a agreement? For example, maybe the Heartless and Dusks can have one world, and leave other worlds alone. Why they couldn't do that?

heartless are animals, they can't 'understand'

and you have to keep destroying them or everyone dies

As Hatok said.

Also, they already have worlds. The Heartless live basically in the RoD while the Nobodies in TWTNW.

Well, Heartless react on instinct and wish to seek hearts, therefore turning more people into Heartless, so I don't think they are willing to 'co-operate' are work on an agreement.

Nobodies, on the other hand, act opposite to the Heartless, meaning they think and plan before they act. So maybe they can work things out. In fact, they want their hearts back, until they eventually grow one, but who knows if they actually realise that when they grow hearts.

Heartless kind off have their own world, being the Realm of Darkness, but like I said, they crave on more hearts.

The point of defeating them is so that less damage can be caused on people and worlds.

Now that I think about it, the Nobodies were only causing mayhem when the original Organization XIII was around. However, if Xemnas is to return in KH3 since he is a seeker of darkness, he might still be able to control the Nobodies, because I think they only reason why Nobodies are/were a threat is/was simply because they are/were following orders.

True. The little Dusks are actually pretty nice when not being ordered around, lol.

Although I do wonder how they are going to address the whole, 'When a heartless is defeated by the keyblade, they come together to create kingdom hearts' eventually thing. I mean, if the Keyblade wielders adventures continue on for a long time, and release enough hearts, wont the kingdom hearts built from other peoples hearts reform again?

As I understand it, that was because the Organization was somehow redirecting the hearts released by the heartless (Xemans was probably secretly using Xehanort's Keyblade to do that) Normally, hearts just wander in darkness until they reunite with their bodies.

But it's always been the duty of Keyblade wielders to protect the Realm of Light from the forces of Darkness, even back when Xehanort and Eraqus where apprentices. Sure the Heartless weren't around then, but there where always dark forces of some sort threatening the peace

Heartless act on instinct and thus can't be reasoned with. Nobodies can think and plan (and even communicate via telepathy) so it might be possible to come to an understanding with them.

Because Heartless and Dusks are monsters that can't compromise. Even if they could, what agreement could everyone possibly settle on? "You can kill everyone in Neverland as long as you leave Agrabah and Halloween Town alone"? Kinda of counterproductive to the whole Save The World thing Sora and co. are working on.

You just answered your own question - it saves people.

What's the point? Dude that's easy the point is "level grinding!" ;)

They're like a disease and there is no cure for them. The Keyblade is as good as you can get to at least suppressing it.

They disappear forever when killed by the Keyblade. The ones that respawn are different ones and ones that were killed by Dolan and Gooby.
