Okay so I just noticed this the other day while I was playing Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix on the Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD Remix collection. Each Absent Silhouette is placed in a specific location for a specific reason. Here are the reasons for their locations:

 

-Marluxia Is placed in the beast's room near his flower because Marluxia's element is flowers.

 

-Larxene is placed on Isla de Muerta in the Pirates of the Caribbean world, because similar to a pirate, she is a traitor to Organization 13

 

-Lexaeus is placed in the Sandlot where the struggle battles are held to determine who is the strongest person in Twilight town similar to how Lexaues is the physically strongest Organization member.

 

-Zexion is placed in the Underworld because he mostly resides in the basement of castle oblivion and uses dark magic and the power of illusions to fight.

 

Now the reason for this thread is I cannot figure out why Vexen is placed in the peddlers shop in Agrabah and I haven't found the answer on google. I was wondering if anyone knew why or would like to discuss why. Also I'd love to discuss the other absent Silhouette locations to see if anyone else noticed this.

-Marluxia is in Beast's Castle, because FLOWAHS

 

- Larxene is in Port Royal, because B*CTHYNESS

 

- Lexaeus is in Twilight Town, because POWAHS

 

- Zexion is in Olympus Colisseum, because OOOHHH, DEAD PEOPLE

 

- Vexen is in Agrabah, because...

I bet that Peddler shop was the only place was cooler since that world was a hot atmospheric dessert...

I'd assume it's because Vexen's on the measly level of a peddler. Either way, I always thought it'd make more sense for it to be in Twilight Town since you actually face him in front of the Old Mansion, reminiscent of the CoM battle.

It's simple, Vexen is a street rat.

I personally think vexen is in the peddler shop in agrabah is because he uses storms to attack and agrabah is in the desert so id assume that hes there in agrabah because agrabah has sand storms and in the peddler shop you are safe from sand storms. and vexen protects himself with a storm or aero

I feel vexen's location is more due to the greed part more than anything. On the second trip to agrabah, the peddler basically let jafar get the lamp again for treasure. "I hope jafar shares some of his treasure with me" was basically his only thought point. Vexen would basically do anything to further his research. A glutton for knowledge

You're the closest about Vexen, when you said he's a glutton for knowledge. He wants to create the perfect vessel, right? What better way in Agrahbah than to study a shapechanger?

But he controls ice, wouldn't putting him in a hot environment be counterproductive?

Fr they should've put Vexen in front of Old Mansion or maybe in somewhere colder like the Summit in LOD?
