March 15, 201510 yr Author Well I've never played any of them, but I've heard good things about them so I probably will eventually. Good luck with that, they're rare and unlikely to be re-released. Is children of Mana is a sequel to Secret of Mana? Nope, the sequel to Secret of Mana was released on the Super Famicom. It's simply apart of the same franchise.
March 15, 201510 yr Good luck with that, they're rare and unlikely to be re-released. Nope, the sequel to Secret of Mana was released on the Super Famicom. It's simply apart of the same franchise. Yeah sadly. They sold poorly, right?
March 15, 201510 yr No. Lol, they sold fine. Really? So how come they probably won't get re released?
March 15, 201510 yr Author Really? So how come they probably won't get re released? Valkyrie Profile is in the same boat as Star Ocean, probably dead. The creator of Mana works for Nintendo now. And as for Dragon Quest, well they hardly ever port spin-offs.
March 15, 201510 yr Never heard of a single one, but, by the titles, I can tell they're not my type of game.
March 15, 201510 yr all games you could skip and play Radiant Historia insteadI second this recommendation, game was fantastic, was like a love letter to old school RPGs
March 15, 201510 yr Dragon Quest Monster: Joker 1 and 2 were two of my favorite DS Games. Though I liked the first one better, maybe because I can actually remember some parts of the Story. But the game was hella fun, befriending all those monster, train them, synthesize them to even better monster. It's a better Pokemon Game in my eyes. It consumes a lot of time, but I think it's worth it
March 15, 201510 yr I found Children of Mana to be good. It was far too harshly criticised imo. It's certainly no Secret of Mana level of quality, but it was a good DS game. all games you could skip and play Radiant Historia instead Sadly Radiant Historia never released in the PAL region... Good thing the DS was region free it was a solid title.
March 15, 201510 yr I second this recommendation, game was fantastic, was like a love letter to old school RPGs yeah, I'd recommend it alongside the likes of Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy VI
