Final Fantasy Type-0 HD has sadly failed to chart in the top 20 selling games for PlayStation 4 on the European/Australian PlayStation Store during March 2015. It has however, made it to #13 on the North American charts during March 2015.

For comparison, Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII & Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster both made it into the top 20 for both North America & Europe/Australia for their first months on PS3.

"Bombs" is such a indecisive term... "You are the Bomb" "It Bombs" "It was the Bomb"

Of course it did, Digital copies don't come with the Episode Duscae code.

Episode Duscae is included with the digital version for two months.

Well Damn, if I'd know that Id have gotten digital.

That's not exactly a bomb

I do really think they should have removred the word HD from the name in the west though, I bet a lot of people skipped it becuase they just thought it was some remaster

Ah well, I didn't expect much from it.

So is the game really a failed or it didn't meet the game studio's expectation?

No it shipped a million copies worldwide alone. Square made more than an earnest profit off this PSP remaster

Either people who only cared about FF XV didn't understand that digital came with a code or (like me) people just prefer to have physical versions of games.

It's first international release and this release only occurred due to the international demand.

To be fair I'm glad it did. The digital version costs €69.99. I paid less for a physical copy.

Prices for digital copies are an absolute joke in comparison to boxed versions.

I got digital I prefer it, anyway.

I live in the U.S., so they don't tax our digital copies. Makes 'em a little cheaper at $60.00.
