What is your most anticipated Square Enix game of 2015? KH3 is (sadly) definitely not coming this year. We all know FFXV will be out in 2016, and Star Ocean 5 is also looking like a 2016 release. Kingdom Hearts Unchained X would be one, but it's likely gonna be Japan-only until 2016. For me, it's Dragon Quest Heroes.

So am I, but unless you're in Japan you aren't likely to get it this year.

Mobius Final Fantasy

Yoshinori Kitase

Kazushige Nojima

That is all.

Why not? They're already testing North American servers. I bet we could see it by December.

Dragon Quest Heroes is honestly the only one I care about, and will remain in that position unless another Dragon Quest localization is announced at E3.

I'm hoping for FFXV but like you said probably 2016. So I'm going with Unchained Key cause it looks really cool especially if its gonna be like chi

It is "gonna be like chi". It's a port.

Theatrhythm and the Slime games are your best bets, maybe VIII.

I'm not betting on any of those except for Theatrhythm, and even that's a stretch. Heroes was enough of a surprise to see a localization announcement for, and none of the other recent Dragon Quest console/handheld games have come outside Japan. Of course, I'm still hoping for more localization announcements in the series, but I'm not expecting anything more than Heroes for now.

I'd argue otherwise. With the exception of the new scenario Dragon Quest VIII is already fully translated, and their problem with VII is due to how much text there is to translate.

And when Siliconera asked Yuu Miyake and Noriyoshi Fujimoto they said they were considering releasing the Rocket Slime 3DS game in English.

And while I can't see it happening, they're still considering X.

I really hope they do it.

Doubtful.

VII is also fully translated on the PS1. If that's really an issue, Nintendo of America would probably be willing to translate it. Reggie Fils-Aime said he'd love to see more Dragon Quest games come out of Japan.

A lot of things have been considered, but never really happened. I'm not personally going to take that as evidence that it will be localized.

I haven't heard that they're considering X, although considering how popular it suddenly became in Japan, it would make a lot of sense to release it in other regions. I'm not going to get my hopes up just yet, though.

They fully explained VII here: http://www.siliconera.com/2014/08/31/square-enix-want-bring-dragon-quest-vii-3ds-west-arent-sure-itll-sell-enough/

And for X: http://www.siliconera.com/2014/09/04/square-enix-love-bring-dragon-quest-x-west/

For sure KH Theatrhythm and then KHX.

I'm struggling to even think of games from Square Enix that I'm interested in to be honest.

Final Fantasy Explorers, Bravely Second and Rise of Mana are all titles that I'm interested in yet they are still so far unconfirmed for localisation. Bravely Second will get localised given the success of Default, but Square Enix won't even say that it is coming (E3 is still around the corner though). Rise of Mana being a free-to-play game isn't exactly high up on my list, but if it were localised and put on the Vita I'd be willing to at least try it.

Any of their stuff from the Western studios barely catch my eye, or if they do, then they are locked away on the Xbox One.

It is really sad that when it comes to the Kingdom Hearts series, the most we have to look forward to is a free-to-play smartphone port of a title that was released two years ago.

Explorers has been trademarked. Don't get your hopes up with Rise of Mana.

Rise of the Tomb Raider is a timed exclusive.

That's because they're working on KH3 and likely ports.

Trademarks mean nothing unless I see the game available for purchase. I'm not getting my hopes up for Rise of Mana, I merely said if it were localised I'd at least try it.

I'm fully aware Tomb Raider is a timed exclusive. This thread is about games releasing in 2015. I'm not excited for a sequel that I can't play this year.

Again, I know they are working on KH3. The series has reached that point where we are literally waiting for the big title and that cannot be helped. Doesn't mean we can't still be a little disappointed that a smartphone title is the only thing to get hyped for in terms of Kingdom Hearts games this year.

No FFXV, no cigar.

I'm trying to get into the indie biz (And my second playthrough of Xenoblade 3D along with my PC playthrough of Xenoblade WITH HD TEXTURES!!!)

Also finishing Type-0. Machina is starting something, yo.

Yeah that's what I meant  xD

Mayby KH isn't ready yet for a Theatrhythm it is for after KH3.

I'm now for FF Explorers and KHX.
