Did you get anything for your father for father's day?(Sorry Moderators if I might have put it under the wrong forum. I wass trying to get it as close to the Poll of the Day as I could.)

Welp, I genuinely told the old gasbag I love him, if that counts.

I got him a meal from Carl's Jr.

He flat-out requested it for his gift.

There's something admirable in being pleased with the simple things.

I said happy father's day

I said happy father's day

Eesh, what a time for your father to be alive huh.

I didn't give him anything since we don't celebrate Father's Day this specific day

My father passed away last October so I went to go clean his gravestone and put some new flowers

I made my dad a homemade card. My dad didn't want me to spend money on him because after my 20 year old sister passed away in 2013, there just weren't anymore happy father's days.

My father just wanted to be left alone the most he could today, and so I granted his wish.

Yeah a text message saying "Happy Father's Day dad! Love you pops!" My parents are divorced and I stay with my mom while dad lives very far away, but we still have a good father/son relationship. Funny this day was supposed to be day about fathers but my and I spend Father's Day going to the movies and watch Inside Out.

I made a card

I know for a fact he doesn't want my brother and I spending money on a gift but we got him something anyways. :P

His NBA team (or really all of ours) won the championship on Tuesday, and he had casually mentioned to me after the game that he wanted their championship t-shirt so that's exactly what we got him, along with a card and cake, because who doesn't love cake? :D

I didn't give him anything. Because...well...

Same here. I didn't know him very well anyway. Infact if I count all the time together we've spent it would probably be less than 2-3 years. And I was way too young to remember anything.

Just a card that my mom dug out of the closet

I don't give him such a materials (since I haven't bought it), I gave him Happy Birthday greet, since today is his birthday as well  :)
