Why Didn't Xehanort Make More Nobodies

Featured Replies

Because then that Nobody would disappear, the other Nobody taking its place. It would end up being just one Nobody replacing another.

Because Xehanort finds it way more fun to try and get inside young boys bodies.

Also making a Nobody out of a Nobody would replace the previous Nobody

Ok then you are trying to answer a joke post with a serious post?

Nope. I was basically adding because Nobody replaces Nobody. Get it?

Why would the Nobody disappear? If the Nobody grew a new heart, it'd be its own person, then that Nobody could sacrifice its new heart, creating a new Nobody

The only way for a nobody to exist if the person has a strong will.

You mean like Xehanort?

Wait I'm so confused. The nobody is the physical shell aka body and soul of said person. So it wouldn't keep creating new bodies and souls each time. Unless you are speaking of a Namine type like situation.

Easy answer: It's not that easy to grow a heart. In KH3D Xemnas said that the body tries to replace the heart the first chance it gets. So what if there is no chance? Xehanort would obviously not take an insecure way. It could also take too much time.

People here are forgetting that not every nobody gets automatically a heart. It is connected with conditions that can't really be controlled.

they could be simulated. the implication is that the more a Nobody experiences emotion the faster they regain a heart. I'm sure Xehanrot could figure out somethign based around that

A lot of us do realize this. However one of the ways of nurturing a growing heart to grow is to be exposed to one and interacting with one and Xemnas liked to keep the org members isolated and that's why they had to RTC after missions. He prolly didn't want them to grow back their hearts if he could help it bc them being nobodies made them easier to nort if they were empty husks that could be filled with his heart..He knew they could but tried to limit their interactions accordingly. He also knew not all of them would end up vessels so that's where the whole TT back up plan comes into play

It is a difference to experience emotions or to fake them. Most of the members from Org. 13, especially Xemnas, had no interest in emotional interactions with other characters. All they had is the memory of feeling emotions, but in their blindness they totally forgot about what it really needs to get a heart. The possibility to form another nobody is absolutely not here in Xemnas' case.Btw I would never expect that a guy whose name is an anagram of No Heart would choose a plan like that...

that's the current situation, if Xehanort used that plan he'd probably behave differently

You mean he would act for charity's sake just to grow a heart, make himself a nobody and repeat it 12x times just to be purely evil in the end?

what says his emotions have to be altruistic? He could get angry, proud, happy, whatever. He jsut needs to feel emotions to himself, I'm sure he'd do nthat for the sake of his plans

it's not like Xehanort views himself as evil

Problem is that he can't force himself to grow a heart. It's a coincidental process which he can't control. Behaving like having emotions is not the same as really feeling emotions. This plan is really depending on coincidence.

my point is, Xehanrt would make an effort to control it

there's no reason he couldn't

there're already a bunch of machines and stuff he worked with while researching hearts, I could see him pursuing a scientific route

but I doubt he'd have to go that far. Like he said, he;s a patient man. He could wait it out

That would be impossible to control it. Hearts can't be summarized in a scientific formular. I just can quote what Ansem the Wise said: The process of encoding hearts is incalculable.

he's not trying to turn a heart into data though, just stimulate its growth

I know, but the quote can be seen as a general rule. The nature of the heart is complex and difficult. I believe that even the factors to stimulate the growth are coincidental. In the end it is everything connected with true emotions and interpersonal interactions.Instead he could synthezise his own heart or steal from other people, but I highly doubt it would be an effective replacement of an own heart.

Because it makes too much sense

Because he's clearly hoping to get Kingdom Hearts by a certain date. I don't know why but if he weren't then he'd let destiny take care of things instead of manufacturing events to push it along since all these things are "destined to happen" anyway. Humans are born with a heart, but nobodies have to make one from scratch which can take years and even longer for that heart to become strong enough to create another nobody.

Pedonort xD
