Gamescom 2010, a gaming event in Europe, is currently occuring. At this event, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep was featured. This included a new English trailer, which can be seen below, or downloaded from our video archive.

awesome trailer, the voices are growing on me too. I can't wait for it to come out.

I can honestly say I love Terra's voice now (if only I knew who was voicing him!), along with all the other voices. Kid Riku, why so adorable?

 

...I want to put "So many are still waiting for their new beginning, their birth by sleep. Even me... and even you." on a piece of poster board, and hang it up on my wall now (with all of my other favorite KH quotes) >.<

As for me this trailer made me really hyped for Birth By Sleep. The character's voices are really growing on me, I actually think overall it's a pretty good cast in the end. Not amazing, but good.

 

--I still hate MX's voice... and Mickey totally killed the dramatic moment at the beginning, but he's still a kickass mickey. /shot

 

 

BUT STILL. My favorite, Vanitas. <3

Im really hyped up for this now. I'm surprised at how well the voices came out. Vanatis was well done. Looks like Sora is going to have a deeper voice in KH3 lol.

Wow, there are so many things I have to say about the trailer! X3

 

-First of all, Vanitas' laugh, kicks ass! It's so awesome! I was all like 'holy shit man! that is creepy!" I really liked it.

-Now I got used to Terra's voice, and I like it

-I loled when Zack asked for the date, cause Aqua's reply was priceless. "Oh, I mean-No." Just lol.

-Mickey completely messed up all the drama when he said 'bully somebody around'. Yes, I know it's a kids' game too but, lol with that.

-Now, saw some of the new features, like with the D-Link, Aqua riding Pete's car. I'm curious as how she gets the d-link with captain dark, maybe they changed something regarding that? Oh, and Terra rumble racing at Disney Castle, that's new isn't it? I'm so excited to see what they added =D

-The end you gotta love it 'My friends are my power, and I'm theirs!'

Vanitas's laugh was better than I expected

It scared my sister She was watching really close, then all of a sudden she jumps back and falls over the cat. It also helped that the volume was up pretty loud

But yes so awesome.

What the hell is up with Aqua's voice actor???? Just how bored can a person actually talkLOL There's like no emotion or power at all in her voice, she does a pathetic job

Funnily enough, Aqua's japanese VA was my favorite voice in japanese BBS.

 

Otherwise the english voices are good. Vanitas's, Terra's and Ansem the Wise's VAs do the best jobs, they're my favs .

I'm starting to get used to everyone's voices, but I don't think that I'll get used to Lea's voice actor in a LONG time >.< but good job Kaiso : D

I'm so happy it comes out soon! I can't wait to watch all the kick ass Vanitas scenes ^^

I really love Lea's voice for no goos reason plus (I know this has already been said but to bad) Vanitas laugh is pure epicness Aqua's voice...not so much

I got to admit Aqua's voice has grownb on me. Terra is getting bhetter Ventus was perfecxt to dstart. vanitas' laugh is creepy......

I love how all the old actors are the best

The voice actors in the English version are actually very good, the only one I actually don't like is Aquas. Her voice is perfectly fine, but with the whole "My name is master Aqua!" line it was pretty poor, the Japanese voice actor for Aqua put alot of emotion into that line, and the English one not so much, she didn't even really shout when she said it, or perhaps i'm just being picky with her because I loved her Japanese voice actor alot.

Yeah, I noticed them too. Well, normally D-Links just level up and gain a different icon based on that character with each level eg. Terra, Aqua and Ven in their first D-Link level don't have their helmets on in their D-Link icons, in their last level they do.

 

So, i'm assuming it's the same for Pete. One of his levels will be Pete, another will be Captain Dark, and another one Captain Justice. I'm guessing Terra, Aqua and Ven all get him after they finish Disney town. And yeah, the Disney Castle Rumble Racing course is new to the game.

At least it's not as creepy as his Japanese laugh, that gave me nightmares.

I am growing a liking to them all except for Aqua, but Vanitas' voice just fits him so well. I can't wait to fight the secret boss.
