Hey there everyone, how's it going?  You know, there's something I've been wondering about lately, and it's regarding the Smash Bros. Ballot!  Since the ballot lets you vote for which Nintendo characters people would like to see as DLC for Smash, I suddenly find myself thinking of this guy! :O

Chrono Trigger is one of Square's beloved properties, and it's a well known and beloved game to many gamers everywhere, and well, considering that Chrono Trigger was made for the Super Nintendo and then later ported to the DS, does this make Chrono a good candidate for being a Smasher?  I've even gotten a perfect phrase for his arrival! "The Warrior Of The Ages Arrives Just In Time To Battle!" I could see Chrono being a pretty badass fighter in Smash, and his Final Smash could involve him performing a super powerful attack with help from his allies Frog, Marle, Lucca, Robo, and Fiona!  So what do you think?  Is it possible?  I, for one, would love it if Chrono came long to Smash! :D

Um....are we sure people won't mistake him for a DBZ character?

True, the character is designed by Akima Toriyama, the same artist who draws the Dragon Ball characters, but gamers who have played this game will know well enough who Chrono is.

And how about the people who didn't play Chrono Trigger?

Well, they'll probably Google up who Chrono is. :3

:3 I kinda thought Chrono was from DBZ at first. But then I remembered Trunks was already there.

Haha, yeah, I wouldn't blame you for thinking so.  He looks just like a Dragon Ball character! X3

Every Akira Toriyama character looks like a Dragon Ball character x3

Crono's one of the few Square characters I could actually see working out in Smash Bros, considering Chrono Trigger is considered one of the most popular SNES games of all time and most well known for its releases on Nintendo systems. I think he'd be cool to see, although my vote still goes to the final party member in Xenoblade.

I KNEW IT!!! OoO

I could actually see myself warming up to this character if he were in Smash, but I don't know anything about him and his history and even what format his game is, and I bet I am not the only one. While yes I may not have known who Robin and Lucina were, I at least knew what the game series they came off of was like, since Marth and Roy taught me in Melee. So this could help me like the character, and maybe help me to play or find out about his game, but it could also not make sense for me and make me be disappointed.

But I don't think Chrono whatever is a Nintendo game, it was made by Square and Nintendo doesn't seem to have any ties into it since it has never even appeared any where in mainstream Nintendo made games! Rayman was the only exception to this because Nintendo actually had a small partnership with Ubisoft for a small amount of time. Square doesn't even to be concerned to work with Nintendo anymore as they always leave Nintendo out of what they are doing except when they need a handheld, want to bring their old games to the VC, or want to make a low quality title that no one ever plays and remembers. Why do you think Square didn't make plans to release KH3 to Nintendo fans?

So yes, this character could work out great, but Square is probably not interested in Nintendo to make him a Smash fighter. And the only way Sora would ever be in Smash would be if Disney allowed him to be because Square is just not interested in Nintendo.

you dont need to. im right here

I wouldn't mind. But I am yet to play Chrono Trigger O_O I am looking forward to playing it though xD

Dude, it's a great game!  I've played about 8 hours of it, and it's truly a unique and awesome RPG, and a blast to play! :D

Lol, yeah. xD

Don't you think that phrase is simply too long?

How about: "The Warrior Of The Ages Returns!"

Is that better? xD

Yeah, that's why I think he'd be a good fit!  He's well known in Nintendo History, and the character in and of itself would provide a cool fighting style! :D

Hmm, this is a very interesting post!  I guess if Chrono were able to be a candidate for Smash, Nintendo would have to talk to Square first before putting the character in the game!

My vote's still for neku. I would give anything to have him on the roster.

Oh, that's right!  TWEWY came out for the DS!  I still haven't played that game, though. O.O

That is the main and only bad side I see for Square Enix characters being in Smash, is because Square would have to approve it. It is rather disappointing, cause Square and Nintendo could have worked great together, but they decided not to so there goes that boat.

Well, in the world of gaming, one never knows what will happen, as the gaming industry is constantly changing and being unpredictable, so all we can do is have wishful thinking! :3

Much, much better...

You should definitely check it out, even if you have to emulate it. It's a wonderful title. One I highly consider to be the best DS game created.

Wow, it's that good? O.O  Then again, it is a Square RPG, so you know you'll get quality there! :D  But yeah, hopefully, I can get the game sometime soon! :3

I have no regrets.

Do you imagine if he makes it into the game?  That'd be awesome! :3
