Felicia Novita 419 Posted August 25, 2015 (edited) When I was watching one of korean Variety Show, Running Man (I need the english sub since I don't understand Korean) in episode 148, and this is what I got when I was watching it : https://instagram.com/p/5hCFMjqze-/ one of Running man members mentioned Sora (which meant Conch in english) in one of the scene. I was shocked when I heard that, my first thought when I saw this was... Sora from Kingdom Hearts lol. You can hear he mentioned sora in 38:35 - 38:40 in the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSJeP1qbWN4 Edited August 25, 2015 by Felicia Novita 1 Soravids reacted to this

Ninkoro 123 Posted August 25, 2015 I think a better question is...why are you watching Korean talk shows when you can't even speak it? Or are you just an english speaker living there?

Enix 995 Posted August 25, 2015 How do we know it's the Sora from Kingdom Hearts? There's millions of other kinds of Sora.
Revolart 431 Posted August 25, 2015 Now we need sora and the gang to join Running Man and destroy the other teams
Ninkoro 123 Posted August 25, 2015 (edited) Same reason why most of us watch Anime even though we don't speak Japanese.I think thats a little different...there are plenty of english (american/euro) talkshows, but you can't say the same for anime.Unless you're implying most anime watchers hate the west and love the east.... There's plenty of English cartoons/anime as well as English dubbed anime. But many people prefer to watch subbed version or just anime in general. I'm in America and I love the west and the east. I wasn't implying that at all.

Anime has a wide variety of genres and age targets while cartoons are usually comedy and either for kids or dirty comedy for adults. As far as watching it subbed goes, most anime watchers only prefer subbed when the english dubbers either censor it or have terribly annoying voices. Keyword most.Talk shows are vastly different, as they're all pretty much the same. So as to why you'd want to watch foregin talk shows of all things.... Felicia Novita 419 Posted August 26, 2015 I think a better question is...why are you watching Korean talk shows when you can't even speak it? Or are you just an english speaker living there? Okay, I'll give you my opinion, If you think, that we watch other show is not "worth" just because we don't speak it language, maybe I can say (I'm sorry guys if I have to be kinda rude) no people will watch the original one and people who sub it won't be sub any original one into the language they can understand. As for information, Watching dub version is cool, but you have to remember, sometimes we want to see the original version. The other way you can understand the original version is by via subtitle. although you don't or can't speak the language, you still can understand what they want to say. That's my opinion. For some reason, I also agree with aqua7kh. Sorry if I'm kinda rude and my opinion is complicated and hard to understand, I really disagree with that statement. I guess, if you think like that, no one will knows about other shows which outside our country, not only korean, japanese, but also other country which the language you don't know about. 1 Soravids reacted to this
WakelessDream 2,291 Posted August 26, 2015 Friendly reminder: Anyone can watch whatever shows they want regardless of the country it's from, or regardless of if they can speak the language or not, and they shouldn't have to feel bad about it either, so let's be nice to each other please. 3 Weedanort, Ninkoro and Felicia Novita reacted to this
