Posted August 31, 201510 yr So who's picking up Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain tomorrow? If you're on the fence about it, don't worry, you can't go wrong this game. It has already received positive reviews all around including a perfect 10 from Gamespot.
August 31, 201510 yr I really don't know. Metal Gear was never a game for me, but this title looks different. I'm afraid that I'll get bored but in gameplay videos it looks like fun somehow.
August 31, 201510 yr I'll be picking it up either with or after I pick up Ground Zeroes. I'm currently playing through them and have MGS4, Peacewalker, and GZ left to go.

This would be like if Nintendo let people pay for coins in NSMB2. I can't think of a single person who would buy something like this for that high of a price tag. Ridiculous. - And yeah, my brother's picking up his Day one copy tomorrow, and I'll be watching him play it and thinking to myself how stupid It was of me to quit MGS so soon, because I really want to play this game after he's finished with it but I probably won't know what's going on...
August 31, 201510 yr I'm sorry, but I can't hear the perfect 10's over the MICROTRANSACTIONS and all of the STUPIDITY OF KONAMI. I'm sure the gameplay is good but I can't see it past the FIRETRUCK YOU KOJIMA SIGNS LEFT BY KONAMI blocking my view of a Kojima Masterpiece. ...honestly, firetruck Konami. Their business strategy consists of: And: Konami's new logo: I'm not buying the game because I refuse to support Konami any longer. It's not happening.
September 1, 201510 yr Sadly MGS was never a series I could get into. Heck, I couldn't even enjoy that spin-off Rising. I hope those getting MGSV enjoy it though, the series is pretty much done now thanks to Konami. So I hope it ends on a high for ye.
