Posted September 4, 201510 yr After I saw Nomura's sketch of Ephemera, it just got me thinking about him in Kingdom Hearts III, how he can help out the Guardians of Light against Master Xehanort, and help finding the Book of Prophecies.
September 4, 201510 yr I could see him being manipulated by Maleficent at first (Since she's lookin' for the book of Prophecies too), but Sora tries to convince him to snap out of it, and succeeds. They then work together after Ephemera explains to Sora and Co. About the Book of Prophecies and how Maleficent wanted to use it to conquer all the worlds. Maleficent then gets infuriated by Ephemera's betrayal turns into Dragon Maleficent and they have to fight her once more.
September 4, 201510 yr i think he and most of everyone in X and Un:X will die in at the end of the game. i mean this is war and judging from the keyblade graveyard not too many people survived.
September 4, 201510 yr It could be possible that Ephemera might be mentioned in Kingdom Hearts III, or perhaps he could actually appear in some form! The most recent news on Unchained Key hinted that we may see Ephemera in the future of the series, but who knows? We'll have to wait and see for what happens!
September 4, 201510 yr I think is inevitable! I think Ephemera will be an important character. I mean Nomura-San even dedicated a sketch to the guy! I´ve only watched him do this with the main characters like Sora, Riku, Kairi and Roxas. Also I like him being so mysterious that I want to see more of him in the series!

Wow, that'd be a Riku situation all over again! I like it. Maybe, Ephemera was the Sixth Foreteller. Just because he was not chosen by his Master doesn't mean to say that he does not get along with the other Foretellers?

Just because he was not chosen by his Master doesn't mean to say that he does not get along with the other Foretellers? Ephemera is the disciple of the 6th Foreteller, after number 6 didn't get his book of prophecies he left Daybreak town and searched for a way to get his hands on one. He couldn't do it himself obviously, so he used Ephemera, the name means 'Things that are used temporarily and then have no use'. Implying he's a vessel for the 6th and just a pawn.
September 4, 201510 yr Ephemera is really my favorite character now. I would be dissapointed if he does not appear in KH3. I want him to be a guy who helps the 7 GoL's to fight against the 13 SoD's but he secretly follow his own plans. Edited September 4, 201510 yr by Komali

The genius of this response... I really have no words to describe this. It makes complete sense. Wait a minute.., if the Sixth Foreteller trained Ephemera then it must mean that the Sixth Foreteller could also be the Master of Xehanort and Eraqus. The sixth Foreteller taught Xehanort and Eraqus how to transfer hearts into other bodies which was a fuel for Xehanorts ambition for immortality! This means that the sixth Foreteller was the trendsetter for Xehanort's heart-transference, and, to an extent, used Xehanort and Eraqus as pawns...  Edited September 4, 201510 yr by Guest

September 4, 201510 yr I have a feeling their gonna pull the big old cliché of 'IT WASN'T THE MAIN VILLAIN WE'VE BEEN FIGHTING, IT WAS ACTUALLY SOMEONE WHO CAME BEFORE HIM'. Actually, I think that Xehanort would still be the main villain. I can imagine Xehanort finally understanding as to why his Master has been so secretive and destroys him like he destroyed Eraqus. This could lead to the reason as to why he trained Ventus as a pawn. It was operant conditioning from his own experiences as a student. Edited September 4, 201510 yr by Guest
September 5, 201510 yr I feel like Chirithy is more likely to show up for exposition than Ephemera After all Ephemera is just asking the questions, Chirithy seems like the one with all the answers
September 6, 201510 yr I feel like Chirithy is more likely to show up for exposition than EphemeraAfter all Ephemera is just asking the questions, Chirithy seems like the one with all the answers True, Chirithy may the exceptional Dream Eater that is able to transcend from the Dream World to the real world.
September 7, 201510 yr Might be a long shot, but I don't consider him to be a good character, I mean his Chirithy is darker than our own and is even cunning and manipulative, if he does return in KH3. I could see him on Xehanort's side, as far as we know Xehanort is still a darkness short and I could totally see Ephemera siding with Xehanort in order to gain information etc and also he already has the silver hair aready, give him the yellow eyes and pointy ears treatment and he is there.
September 8, 201510 yr I doubt any Chi character is going tonappear. Remember Chi is set before the Keyblade War and pretty much everyone died after that, swallowed by the darkness. Except for a few kids.
September 9, 201510 yr I doubt any Chi character is going tonappear. Remember Chi is set before the Keyblade War and pretty much everyone died after that, swallowed by the darkness. Except for a few kids. Actually, you couldn't be further from the truth, here's plenty of reasons as to how (Chirithy/Ephemera/The Foretellers) can appear. 1) The book of prophecies summons characters and being that have yet to be conjured up. Xehanort could have been summoned through the book of prophecies by either the sixth foreteller or the master foreteller, thus, enabling him to travel back in time during that time period. 2) Xehanort (at one point in his life) may have had the book of prophecies. Using a computer, he may have uncovered more about the book of prophecies by creating a holographic projection of Daybreak Town (like Re:Coded). He could have been able to get Datascape version of the Foretellers into the real world as vessels. 3) With the reveal of Chirithy as a Dream Eater, Daybreak Town could be a world of sleep. As a world of sleep, time flows differently to a waking world.
December 3, 20159 yr That would be interesting to see him in KH3. It would have to be a descendant of the original Ephemera, but go by the same name. I think he might be a protector of the seven to guard them from outside dark forces so they can fight the thirteen uninterrupted.
December 3, 20159 yr Ahh I absolutely adore Ephemera, and I do think it's definitely a possibility he'll play a role in Kingdom Hearts 3, and I wouldn't be surprised at all. He's been hyped up for awhile now. Now the main question is who the heck is he? We barely know the guy yet we're hinted at him being very significant both through Nomura and Chi itself, how are we supposed to know what's he like and who he'll fight for? So we really can't guarantee he'll help the Guardians of Light out at all. I've got a gut feeling that he isn't necessarily a good guy, but I'm dying to know more about him. I'm sure Kh3 will take care of that. So yeah I feel like we'll be seeing Ephemera again soon
