It was a cold, brittle day that swept throughout the land.  Or, rather, the inhabited portion.  Much of this dying earth has withered away, leaving much land dry, lifeless, and relatively impossible to live upon.  It was late November, and the heaviness of Winter was only just falling upon them.

There are cities, towns, and small villages scattered everywhere across the continent.  Many of which are now subservient to the empire, yet there are some which still exist free from the Emperor's reign, and they aren't in happy places.  These villages and cities are cold, raided, and . . . starving.  The land, in its final dying stages, host little vegetation and thus hardly produce good crops.  There is little food as well as resources to acquire it.  Most villages independent of the empire cannot afford Tanzynite for their life source, so they are still reliant upon the nutrients that food provide.  With this, disease is more prominent in some societies, and yet without Tanzynite--or a proper Healing Mage--they can hardy treat the person.

As a Rebellion Member you are free to roam any cities which you see fit.  Perhaps it's your home, or perhaps you are merely visiting.  Maybe you're gathering recruits, or even still gathering information about the Empire's ongoings.  The age is one of technology, where everything is electronically run.  Modern technology exists, but a lot of places on the map do not support cellular service.

At the heart of the nation rests the metallic castle walls of the Imperial City, Langerdon.  Its thick walls made of heavy iron and other metals make it nearly impossible to penetrate.  The city inside is one where people live lavishly, having every possible luxury that one would request.  Even the poorest people in Langerdon have comfortable lives, an object for many rebels to envy.  The streets and city are all technologically advanced and predominately made of steel and iron, the palace being no exception.  The castle works for itself, and it alone could be used as a weapon to keep unwanted guests away.  There lives the Emperor Korben himself, along with his many loyal subjects and cronies.

As a Subject/Member of the Empire you are to adhere to Korben's orders within Langerdon, the Capital City and remain within that city on patrol, or maybe you're permitted within the Palace/Castle, or maybe you're on assignment in another city to look out for Rebels or Treasonous Individuals. However, those are for later, as right now, all members of the Empire are currently in a meeting with the Emperor to discuss recent events, the Rebellion, Plans etc. You have no problems with communication with the Emperor, as he can "Astral Project" technically using his Dark Powers.

In the Criminal Underworld resides those who don't obey the laws nor do they take them into their own hands, but they break them. Break them like the proverbial knee cap, or the literal one. There are Crime Lords, Gangs, Organized Crime-Doers and just those who commit Petty Crime. There also reside Information Brokers and such who can provide info, usually reliable given their range due to lawlessness. Those who are Criminals, you do what you please, be it robbing shops, banks, people or dealing drugs or weapons, it matters not in the Slums.

Those who are independent free spirits you do what you please, aid the Rebellion, tip off the Empire or do Parkour, you are completely free, but alone in this cold-hearted world.

You all have your places and roles, now is the time to shape your stories, for your fate is in your hands.

-Emperor Korben-

Others were arriving for the meeting, but Korben tended to be the last to arrive for he would stand at his balcony and look out upon his city, his eyes glistening and emitting Dark Blue Energy through his helmet as he gazed and scanned the city which was bathed in Moonlight as it tended to be at this time of Night. In his earlier days as Emperor, he'd be at peace observing his city, but nowadays the constant bothering by the Rebellion irk him constantly, especially when he looks at Langerdon and beyond...he can see the turmoil even when it isn't happening....yet. He couldn't help but clench his hands as he rested them upon the Stone Ledge, leaving grooves where his fingers ground against it. "Accursed Rebel scum..." He muttered in a low, darkly distorted voice.

"Mi'lord?" His pondering ceased upon a female subject, a maid, entered his room to fetch him and he went back into his room from the balcony and greeted her. "Hmm?" He uttered. "They're ready for you at the Round Table, my Emperor." She told him, earning a nod from the Emperor as he left his room while she went back to her duties. Korben walked through the corridors, past many rooms, small events and ornaments until got to a set of large wooden doors and pushed them open, announcing his arrival which silenced the muttering Senior Subjects who awaited his arrival. The doors closed behind him as he took his seat, a Throne which was far more regal and decorated than their chairs, but some had better seating to show their higher ranking than others there. The Emperor sat firm...and spoke.

"Gentlemen and Ladies, welcome...." He leans forward. "Let us discuss. First point of business, how goes the flow of Tanzynite and their profits?" He asked, then someone spoke up, presumably the one in charge of the Finances and Flow of Tanzynite and he dressed like a Scientist, but more formal. "My liege. The Tanzynite flows smoothly, no thieveries by Criminals this Month and Profits are up by 2%, sir." He explained. "Most excellent, but increase and adapt Marketing, I want profits to go up by 5% next time. Do not water-down any of the chemicals or make any new ones yet. If you need to, get Thomas to help you." He replied, the Scientist nodded, Thomas being one of his assistants. "By the way, Thomas has suggested we should perhaps market to a younger audience?" He put this forward nervously, but did not shudder...until Korben spoke. "Need I remind you....that we do NOT market what is basically Drugs to children! *Ahem* ....you tell Thomas that, Timothy." He addressed the Scientist, known as Timothy, who nodded in response, making a note.

Korben then turned to the higher ups (Player Characters of the Empire) and spoke up. "What news of the Rebellion?" He put forward.

The Kusanagi blasted through the explosions, none left behind her through Derik's actions. She bit her lip and her pupils suddenly dilated to the point her eyes seemed entirely gold. Hands further dancing across the controls, the ship leveled out and blasted in a random directions, away from the aerial fleets.

"No one is chasing us now. Altering course to head for HQ." Her eyes returned to normal, and she set autopilot.

Victoria then slumped. "I can't believe that worked.

-Chrysalis-

A quartet of guards had given her some form of respite, by taking her to the hallway where the Throne Room was, to wait for Ariana and Korben to finish their small meeting. She was allowed to sit against a wall and was giiven some juice and bread, which she was consuming extremely carefully, as to not loose a crumb, not a single drop.

She waited there, quiet and scared, for Ariana.

When Ari finally exited to find them there, the Guards would salute and offer the chain connecting to Chrysalis' collar before heading off to do their usual duties.

-Eclaire-

The ex-Dragoon Commando found herself in a run-down tavern somewhere, and through a twist of fate would be in the corner, shrouded in a hood and cloak, Eclaire Tonnerre was watching over it all as Yvgeni and Mikhail entered eventually, or if they didn't, she'd continue drinking her extremely non-alcoholic beverage, just...trying to keep hidden and let the insanity die down before heading back to Oathkeeper.

Derik sighed. "I mean, I know I don't look special but damn, no faith in a stranger with the ability to fly." Derik chuckled, his body was covered in soot, which he shook off of his person much like a dog shaking water off of it's fur. "So, any word on those nacho's?"

-Slade Joseph Wilson-

Slade gave a smile of familiarity underneath his helmet as he saw the hooded man's face. "Mikhail, I presume? You work with us occasionally from what I've heard and seen." He made sure not to mention The Order in his sentence, then turned to the interloper: Yevgeni and raised his hand. "No need. I'll buy us all a drink. I just got paid." He told him calmly, then looked around before they began to head off. "I understand what you mean about keeping quiet near Imperial Ears." He whispered this time before leading them to the Tavern in question.

"Besides, why so antsy?" He added before they entered.

-Emperor Korben-

Korben made his way to his main Throne Room and sat upon it, his Royal Guards, the finest in his Empire, stood to attention as he entered, then he reclined and put his head to the side as he entered thought.

"The Order of Lux grows slightly bothersome, but they shall be quelled in due time, should my men deal with them accordingly. If not Ozzel's men, then the Assassins. And if not them...I must increase my efforts to put them down before they become a major threat. As a ragtag group of people with small amounts of pilfered resources, they are no match....but as a fully fledged Rebellion with Insignias, resources and support from many Kingdoms, they pose a credible threat. They must be dealt with before then...."

He then looked around his Throne Room, then slouched forward.

"I must not allow anyone to read my thoughts, methods or personality. That gives them an edge, even if small. I can't even tell Ariana, my most trusted Commander. She is faithful, but the "Lure of Power" is strong and tempting and no one else here is as capable of ruling as I...and she's Heartless to boot. What little Heart I have left will assist me. In the meantime..."

He signalled the nearest Royal Guard to his right. "Activate the Public Broadcast System. All TV Screens and Loudspeakers in homes and Building Screens across the Empire. I wish to address my people." He ordered calmly, with a responsive nod from the Guard who pushed a button, lowering a Camera while all Lights dimmed and a Aura of Shadows surrounded Korben so he was the focus. "Begin live transmission." The Camera activated.

------------------------------------

Across Imperial Cities, all Television Screens changed to the "Empire Broadcast Channel" with a narrated message saying.

"This is a non-emergency public broadcast from Emperor Korben. Please take the time to listen. Long live Korben."

The screens across City Buildings and in homes then switched to Korben, in his throne with everything else dark and shadowy as he spoke to all.

"Citizens...of the Korbenic Empire. I am here to discuss a...strange matter this evening. As many of you may know, there are some speculating the existence of an "Order"...an Order promising "liberation", "peace" and "freedom". First of all, my Empire provides a comfortable, well-off style of life for all of you, my people. Secondly....it is mere rumour and speculation. The Order is a Myth. They do not exist as far as we know and if you see anyone pretending otherwise, it is a façade. A lie by those who dislike my rule. Dismiss them as liars, deceivers...and pursuers of Treason against the Empire. *Chuckles* Of course, Treason is a capital offence...which is punishable by death. If they are truly conspiring against us, report them, expose them for all to see...call upon us to apprehend the miscreants...or you may dispose of them yourself if you wish. You have the power via Tanzynite, now is the time to prove your skill with it. Those who work as Shopkeepers, Reception Workers or Bartenders; remain vigilant and keep your ears sensitive to such talk...you never know where they might be, trying to conspire against our prosperity. That is all. Long live Korben."

The screens all returned to their usual advertising and programmes as the Throne Room returned to normal lighting and the Camera returned to hiding.

"Now...we shall see what occurs."

Bright lights shined in the small entertainment room where Sandrew watched Korbin's special message. As the message flashed off of the screen in his room. "What was that all about..." he muttered, watching as Brooklyn walked in from the back room. "Brooklyn, you're smarter than I am, what was up with that broadcast?"

"Quite obviously it means the exact opposite."

"What?"

"There is a resistance promising something better than life we live now."

"How do you know that?" Sandrew said, quite shocked that Brooklyn would make such an observation.

"Simple. Korben is a man obsessed with power, history shows this through his actions and methods of the war. Threat like, say, a resistance or even wide-spread rebellion, threaten his power, and rumors of such could begin to bring questioning about his rule and begin crumbling his empire from the ground up, either by people doubting his power and ability, or by them deciding that they want to join the rebellion. As such, he wants to put forth a statement that reassures his people that there is nothing going on, to keep calm, and reassure themselves that their leader is the best there is."

"...Sounds like a bit of a stretch, if I'm honest."

"Logically, it makes sense. Those who are powerful fear few things, one of those things are to be helpless to stop their own destruction more often than not. However, it is just conjecture."

~Vortludo~

"Ah, my thanks Slade. I'm sure you know how much I appreciate a good drink! Especially since this man was not welcoming enough to provide one for us all. I sincerely wonder where the courtesy that once blessed the world has gone." Vortludo continued loudly as they walked into the bar. Of course, the first thing about the establishment that had drawn his attention was the television screen. Well, technically, it was Korben's blue face on the screen that drew his attention. He listened carefully to the message. Considering it pertained to the rebellion he was a part of, listening carefully was a good idea. He drew his cloak over his weapons, hiding them from sight. "I do hope we're all sane enough to keep any sensitive discussion to a low." The Noble whispered to the others. But, afraid to draw suspicion whispering like that, Vortludo immediately slapped Slade on the shoulder (that really hurt too, his armor is much harder than he had thought). "My good friend has offered to pay this time around! Place our drinks on his tab please!" He announced loudly to the bartender. Hopefully, they would seem normal enough to pass by. But of course, there was the fact that Slade was wearing a mask and armor, and Yellow Eyes over there had a couple swords hanging on his back. Maybe this was not such a good idea.

"Please no! You misunderstand!" A man, crying out in fear, cowering from a slight figure. The shadow held a blade very carefully, delicately. They knew the dangers of using a blade, and they knew how to use those dangers to their advantage.

"I misunderstand nothing. I wish you had known better, but unfortunately, you made some poor choices. Now you will pay." The figure's voice said. The man began to cry out once more, but the cold steel hit his throat before the sound materialized. The Assassin took a deep breath. Another executed. But this was a temporary solution. She needed to find the source. She pulled her sword back out from the fresh corpse, and wiped the blood off before sheathing it. Then Neena vanished into a swirl of darkness.

~ ~

"Oh god no!" A woman, screamed. But no one could hear her. He had made sure of that. That would have been a foolish mistake to make. He did not make many foolish mistakes these days. This woman had followed him, thinking he was her lost son. Of course, that wasn't true. To be technical, he was the reason her son was lost. He had been a decent illusion mage, so he had murdered him and disposed of the evidence cleanly. And then he had used his image and voice to lure his poor poor mother to her own demise. She had used the Sting of Winter tanzynite. And he had wanted some. Of course, now, the Serial Killer stood above her in his full form. He held out his fingers, pointing them at her as they shook slightly. He laughed maniacally as he swiped his hand through the air and her head came clean off, her mouth still open, still screaming even in death. Cyler smiled viciously as he felt the new power surge into him. Cyler began to walk away, careful not to step in any blood puddles.

~Ryonne & Viridem~

"I told you so!" Viridem screamed at her partner.

"We did everything right." Ryonne answered, much quieter, seemingly perplexed by what was happening.

"Now we're going to die a painful death. Great, just what I wanted to do today!"

"Let's go. We still need to figure a way out of here." And then Ryonne dashed out at his super speed, vanishing into the hallway they had left. Viridem muttered something under her breath as she began to float on the wind, her lance drawn and by her side. She began to float down the hallway at high speeds as well, keeping an eye out for soldiers. She caught up to Ryonne who stood at the doorway into the main compound. He stood still, his blade by his side.

"What's up?" She asked, floating behind him. He shook his head like he was freeing himself from a trance.

"Nothing new." He said quietly, stepping aside so his partner could get a full view. The Spider Warmech was standing at full alert in the middle of the compound.

"You have got to be kidding me." Viridem groaned.

"Hostiles detected." The drone suddenly spoke, and turned rapidly to face the two rebels. It began to open fire with its twin gatling guns. Ryonne quickly sprinted away and into cover. Viridem teleported away, reappearing next to Ryonne, crouching behind the cover as well.

"Now what my brilliant friend?!" She exclaimed quietly.

"Good question." He muttered.

-Gabriel stross-

Garbiel nonchalantly walked out of the elevator, and faced the destruction made by the kusanagi, as he saw it flying away in the huge opening it made on its escape, he simply looked at its directon, "Repait bots sent" the Ai said, as the architecture maintaining robots quickly showed up on the scene, and began to repair the damage done to the hanger's structure.

Someone took Kusanagi away, a ship Gabriel was well acquainted with, its weapon systems were custom designed by him after its retrieval, too bad now its in enemy's hands, for now anyway. He walked back to his workshop, no doubt with a lot more work to do. "Kusanagi ship stolen." The suit's AI sent a voice message to Korben's communicator (No doubt he has one), as Gabriel walked onward.

-Mikhail Drak-

Without further ado, it seemed like the man with the mask did indeed recognize him, catching on immediately that he was speaking about the rebellion, "If you're oferring, who am I to refuse." Mikhail commented as he followed Slade, Yev and Vortludo into the tavern, in which he promptly examined upon entrance, you could never be too careful.

As they quickly sat down on a table, and ordered drinks, Mikhail made sure to ask his own, "Give me the strongest drink you have, not like im fonna feel it." He said chuckling, as he looked at Vortludo, who looked rather noble.

"So...gentlemen, what do you wish to speak about?" Mikhail asked.

-Henry Hansees-

Henry was traversing the rooftops, jumping from building to building, thankfully dreadbones also increased the strenght of your jumps, allowing you to jump much higher, but also break quite a bit of the floor upon falling, He stopped to look back at the capitol building, "Nasty blow." he commented as he turned around and continued to move from building to building, his power probably able to be felt from anyone who actively patrolled rooftops and could sense magic or tanzynites, not that there was any right now anyway.

He began heading northeast, as he saw some commotion in the streets, some troops moving that way, he thought something was up.

-Slade Joseph Wilson-

As Peashy's training session ended the room she was in slowly turned back to normal with once again nothing in it but the door in & out the room "Okay Peashy, you can transform back to normal now & it's time for you to head into your room to rest" said the girl guard "no" said Peashy "Peashy, return yourself to normal now! your training is over" said the girl guard "NO, NO, NO & NOOO!!!" screamed Peashy "I wanna play some more! I wanna do something FUN!" screamed Peashy as she then busted through the door "Where's Mr.Ben?" yelled Peashy. "Peashy! Stop this at once & do what we say" yelled the other guard as he grabbed her arm "GET AWAY FROM ME! AAAHH!!" screamed Peashy as she threw her arm around throwing the guard into the wall knocking him out. "Mr. Ben should have something fun for me to do" said Peashy as she quickly ran outside the training room still in her goddess form "Oh my, she's having another tantrum. Lets hope we can still keep her under control again" said the girl guard.

it took Peashy a while of searching through many rooms & hallways leaving a path of beaten up guards & some minor damage done to the areas until she come across Chrysalis & Ariana, Peashy then felt that this room must be it. Peashy kicked the throne room doors down with just one kick before entering the room "I WANNA DO SOMETHING FUN!!!" screamed Peashy at Korben while waving her arms in the air. Seconds after a guard ran into the throne room huffing & puffing "So sorry my lord but we couldn't stop her from getting here. It seems she's a bit annoyed she wasn't in the meeting & she's getting bored & wants to play something fun..." said the guard while trying to catch his breath.

-Yevgeni-

The hostility in the man's eyes faded, feeling slightly sheepish that he was so cold to the newcomers.  This man, Slade, had just offered to buy them all drinks, perhaps from the goodness of his heart rather than merely conning them into talking with him.  Yevgeni bowed his head graciously, following them into the tavern.  "You don't have to buy me anything," he murmured quietly, but the moment he did this Vortludo announced loudly that Slade would be purchasing all of them a drink.  Yev sighed and rubbed the side of his head.  "You have my gratitude, good sir."

The group sat down at a table.  Unfortunately for a run-down tavern there were quite the number of people there.  Yev scanned the bar carefully.  A group of guys were drinking loudly--and merrily--a few tables away, while a pair of men were drinking in silence and speaking amongst themselves.  A lone figure sat drinking, but Yev paid the person little heed.  When Mikhail asked why the discussion, Yevgeni wasted no time in opening his mouth.  "I have heard of you, my good man.  A witcher, if I recall?"  He leaned forward, speaking lowly so that the others would have to strain their ears to hear him.  "I've seen what you've done to the security in this town, and I am very much impressed.  I have been traveling the world to find others whom I trust and can align myself with, and you seem like you would be the perfect fit.  I need to see the empire go down, very far down, and I need some runes which I think are kept hidden within the imperial palace itself.  The empire has hurt too many of us to count"--Yev shook his head, hot tears forming in his eyes--"and I swore that I would stop it.  I want to see the emperor die, even if it means laying down my own life to do it.  Please, I will pay any price that you ask.  Will you help me?"  He glanced at Slade and Vortludo, wondering what he should ask or offer them.  Finally he added.  "Of course, if you gentlemen have a bone to pick with the empire as well I would be more than gracious to accept your aid, trusting that you can hold your own in a fight.  I too will obviously join the cause, and I daresay that I have a bit to bring to the table, thanks to my father's, ah, angelic heritage."

-Jadis-

The young elf noticed the curiosity in Fiora's eyes, but he was too enthusiastic to explain himself further.  Instead he simply responded with, "There's this woman who took Krea and I in after our parents died in a raid.  Recently she was confronted by an imperial soldier and they did something to her, leaving her for dead.  She's still alive, but she's very, very sick.  We've been trying to heal her with our own magic but we have no good healers.  Please, if you can help her we would do anything!"  The girl, Krea, stood alongside Jadis, watching Fiora with empathetic eyes.  Finally she added, "We are elves living in Rhasolvich.  We have little food left so we had to come here to gather some.  If you can come back with us we'll always be in your debt!"

The two children were eager and enthusiastic to help their friend, but were gravely indebting themselves to Fiora in the process.  If she wished to do anything unpleasant to them--which certainly hadn't crossed their minds--she could most certainly do so.

-Ariana-

The raven-haired woman left the emperor's chambers in a huff.  He'd barely acknowledged her or shared anything with her.  Was she not his most trusted general, who had laid her life on the line for him time and again, who promised him much?  Strangely enough Ari sensed that Korben was more distant with her than usual.  Did he suspect something?  After Eclair's betrayal, however, she could only think it wise that the Emperor *would* doubt Ari.  Even still, Ari would just have to find her way in, even if it took aeons.

She blinked, expression blank, as the guards handed her the chains to her pet project before vanishing, as if afraid she'd spit venom at them.  A laugh emitted from her, cold, shrill, and heartless.  She smiled down at the trembling girl, Chrysalis, thinking about Korben's words shortly before he departed.  Yanking on the chain, Ari encouraged the girl to rise before grasping her soft rosy cheeks with her cold hand.  She tilted Chrysalis's head so that she could study her innocent face, violet eyes meeting hers.  "So, my sweet"--she brushed a few stray strands of golden locks from Chrysalis's face tenderly, her voice as malicious as ever--"what say you to taking a wee trip with me to visit some friends?  We're going to have lots of fun, you and I.  We're going to decorate the snow!"  With that, she began to make her way down the hall, dragging the chain behind her as though she had a dog on a leash.

-Chrysalis-

She whimpered, eyes wide with terror. When Ari yanked the chain she walked faster, trying to keep close and not get yanked around. She seemed even more defeated as usual, and without thinking reached out to hold onto a piece of Ari's uniform, as a child would. She was looking down, so it was a way to not lose pace with Ari and keep up...or an attempt to find some comfort in this nightmare.

-Eclaire-

Meanwhile, the founder and leader of the Order of Lux had been making her way closer to Yvgeni and his tablefull of men. She was sitting with her back to them, though no longer was drinking. No, she was listening...waiting...and wondered if she should just make an appearance for the hell of it...but that might cause problems...

And then the TV blared the message from Korben. Eclaire stood, slowly, and then drew her Blazefire Saber in gun mode...and blasted the TV to hell. She let the cloak fall away, and those who recognized her scrambled away from her.

"What this man fails to inform you of, is that this declaration, this denouncement, of my Order of Lux came after I personally slaughtered his guard, and six of his generals. I let him live just once, so he knows the fear that comes with the knowledge - I came in and I killed."

She turned to face the door, and began to walk out of the run down tavern.

"I then had my Order steal technology and blast through their very blockade. If you think my Rebellion has no hope, then look to Langerdon, and the wreckage of it's mighty fleet. And if you wish to topple this oppressive tyranny...then you can find us. The Goddess will guide you."

She disappeared in a flurry of roses and smoke, her Houdini Tanzynite the perfect period to her speech...and of course, a small, simple letter landed on the table of Yvgeni, Slade, and Mikhail.

If you wish to join my rebellion, then just look to the light.

~ ~

Seconds after a guard ran into the throne room huffing & puffing "So sorry my lord but we could stop her from getting here.

-Slade Joseph Wilson-

Slade sat down with the others, gladly accepting the role of buying the others drinks, especially since Vortludo said it to the Bartender before he did, then ordered himself a drink with the others and listened to others talk, particularly Yevgeni's words against the Empire, which funnily enough coincided with his Allegiance with The Order of Lux. He then decided to interject.

"Forgive me, I have somewhat sensitive ears even below this mask but, you oppose the Empire too?" He spoke, but low enough so the others could hear him and no one else could. "If so...well, you'll have to prove yourself to her, but my boss is the Leader of the--" He was interrupted by the swift destruction of a Television screen and Eclaires somewhat dramatic appearance, explaining who she was, what she did and left just as swiftly, leaving them a letter which he and the others read.

"That's my boss. Leader of The Order of Lux, the people you're looking for, Mr, Whatever-Your-Name-Is. Me and my Noble friend, Vortludo, can help with that." Then he looked around and back to Yevgeni, then reached up to his helmet and took it off, showing his face: He looked older than he was, being somewhat chiselled with very small wrinkles, but they were hardly prominent. He had an eyepatch over his Right Eye which had a large scar covering it, only the top and bottom showed and all of his hair was a Silver-Grey, including his Beard, being a goatee that extended to his lower jaw and side burns along with having a full head of hair and minor scars on his left cheek and forehead.

"If you trust us that is." Then he put the Helmet back on quickly and awaited response, but noticed the Bartender was acting a little shifty after Korben's message.

-Emperor Korben-

Korben was almost allowed to relax after the message, before Peashy burst into his Throne Room and begged for more fun while an exhausted Guard followed her. Her incessant nagging and annoying voice had caused her to earn injuries from Korben before and this time was no different. He rose from his throne swiftly and backhanded the young Goddess, his blow enough to render her normal. "You may take her away now. She's already bothering me." He said calmly to the Guard before sitting back down.

As Korben backhanded Peashy a burst of wind blew through the room from the impact showing that there was a great amount of force in that blow. Not only did Korben knock Peashy out of her goddess form but also knocked Peashy out cold, Peashy collapsed & the exhausted guard quickly picked up Peashy of the floor "Yes my lord, right away." said the guard as he quickly took Peashy outside the throne room. The guard soon entered an elevator heading down & down & down soon reaching a floor lvl that had dark hallways, the guard walked for a while until he entered the only room that had lights on "I got the kid from Korben again." said the guard to the girl guard "Good, put her in her bed over there would you. We got work to do so lets hurry" said the girl guard.

"Right, I can't believe this kid would just run up towards lord Korben like that." said the guard scratching his head "Well get use to it, Peashy has these tantrums out of nowhere sometimes & most of the time it's lord Korben that needs to settle them. I remember one time a guard pissed Peashy of by telling her her parents never loved her & that they ditched her first chance they got & that's when Peashy went into her lvl 3 goddess form raging about killing heaps of soldiers & destroying heaps of stuff. To put it short Korben had to stop Peashy which he did & so far Peashy has never gone into that form since then. But you don't need to worry about Peashy in her lvl 1 goddess form causing to much trouble as you've seen, Korben can easily stop Peashy in that form but her lvl 3 form took some time to stop, so just don't piss off Peashy & you'll live longer while we're working with her K?" said the girl guard "Y-yeah...thanks for the info..." said the guard as they then started working.

-Ariana-

The walk seemed endless.  Down spiraling staircases, across long halls, and finally into the basement.  They arrived in what seemed to be a departing terminal, consisting of sterile floors, halls, and, most impressively, rows and rows of transportation pods.  "I don't believe you have ever ridden one of these."  It was a statement, not a question, which Ari directed to Chrysalis.  She paused, eyeing them momentarily before her gaze caught onto her personal vessel, one which she'd lovingly nicknamed "Nightmare." The dark-haired woman strolled over to it, the chain lax in her hand, allowing Chrysalis to walk at her own pace for the first time all day.  She brushed a hand along the smooth side of her personal vessel, wide grin upon her face.  It was large enough to fit two, perfect for her and her pet.  "What do you think, dearie?" she cooed, pulling her hair up into a bun before dropping her helmet onto her dark head.  She released Chrysalis's chain momentarily as she snatched a spare helmet from the wall.  When she returned she extended it to Chrysalis.  "Put this on!" she snapped impatiently.

Without awaiting Chrysalis's reaction further, Ari hopped into the pilot's seat of the pod, getting ready to roar the engine to life.

-Mikhail Drak-

"So you plan to set up a heist? gotta say its more than normal witcher work...shouldn't we get the rebelion for assistance? they can no doubt help..." Mikhail commented at Yevgeni's job offer, as a Witcher, it was outside his area of expertise, infiltration and sabotage were one of his not so redeeming qualities, but he was short on money, and needed money, badly, so he'd consider it.

But before any further discussion could be made he didn't even need to turn around to know what happened, as Eclaire, who had just shot the nearby TV as the emperor sent a broadcast, and going on a monologue about the emperor's failure and more stuff Mikhail honestly couldn't care less about, chuckling at Slade's remark.

"Well thats one way to show yourself, shoot a TV with a gunblade in the middle of a tavern and go on a rant about the emperor's failure...that definitely a nice way to be inconspicuous." Mikhail commented with a very snarky and sarcastic tone, common witcher trait, criticizing everything for amusement. He quickly noticed the letter the woman had left, he promptly picked it up as Slade began to speak again, this time showing his face, which reminded him of his own, with white hair and everything.

"The offer is nice, but I think we should focus on one thing first...that bartender is looking awfully...twitchy, and I don't like it...ideas?" Mikhail added, without having to glance at him, he simply sensed the bartender's suspicion rising.

-Gabriel Stross-

Gabriel headed into the basement, catching a glimpse of Ariana and her "Pet" Chrysalis, his workplace was near the basement, as it needed to be secluded, to keep unwanted guests away, although any of the elevators could reach it with the press of a button, he wanted to walk, and examine any possible trace and possibility of how the break-in happened.

He overheard some of Ariana's statements to Chrysalis, or rather, Rika hunter, he knew her name, he had access to all the data in the Empire, not even Korben couldn't keep his hands or mind off it, but Gabriel was loyal to the empire, even though he disagreed with some of their ways, like Ariana keeping chrysalis as a human, or angel pet, he hated the notion of it, even if she was a test subject, he didn't think she deserved that treatment, but of course, mute as he is, he wasn't ever about to comment about it, neither would his AI.

He arrived at his workplace's entrance, which was marked by a big steel set of doors, which opened with a retinal, or fingerprint scanner, he didn't need either, as his suit connected to the door's systems right away, as it opened automatically, he got inside and brought up some test projects for him to work on, the grapple gun project was awfully inviting, for one.

-Slade Joseph Wilson-

Having already noticed the shifty Bartender, Mikhail's comment was just the push he needed.

"...I'll be right back." Slade told the others before moving to another side of the bar area and signalling the shifty Bartender to come to him, then spoke to him quietly.

"Listen up, you turn those guys in to the Emperor, chances are the only reward you'll get is some spiked Tanzynite or a false promise of money. Ignore the call of Korben however..." He then pulled from his pocket on his utility belt a substantial amount of money, neatly piled up in his hand as paper money. "I can promise you truer, more fulfilling payment. Be it this money or my services as an Assassin. Your choice. Third option being I kill you, but let's not think about that, huh?" His words rang true in the Bartenders mind, who took the money calmly, then vowed to never say a word about them on penalty of his life, as he knew Slade's skills were better than what stories told. Then Slade sat down with the others again.

"Simple, really. Though I can't say the same for the Patrons of this Bar." He added, reminding the others to stay aware and vigilant.

-Chrysalis-

The girl slowed down after the chain was released, and then stood quietly. When the chain was released she picked it up and held it in her arms, staying within distance. Then she dropped the chains and took the helmet. Putting it on, she scrambled in with her chains and sat beside Ariana, strapping in. She shook a bit from fear, and reached over to grasp part of Ari's clothes for comfort.

-Eclaire-

The woman exited the tavern to face maybe...twelve? No, fifteen guards. They had guns drawn, some swords. She let a gust of wind blow her cloak away, revealing her normal attire. She then began walking forward.

"Freeze! You have violated the law! You must pay for your crimes!"

"Crimes? It is no crime to fight tyranny...nor is it a crime to use magic."

Snap

Lightning fell from heaven, and two guards were struck dead. The guards backed away, as Eclaire brought forth her Paradoxical spear.

"In Paradisum. The Spear of Paradox, once thought to have killed a God." She held it out to the side, and suddenly she was dressed in barely anything.

Eclaire had turned into her Succubus form. "You have five seconds to run."

Four ran. The rest raised guns and swords, and attacked.

Eclaire was behind them though, and didn't got for the impale. A wide slashing strick followed by the blunt end to the head took down five, and as the remainder turned to fight, she launchef at them in a flurry of strikes and stabs. With a twirl and backstab maneuver, the last Guard fell.

Her Succubus form melted away, and was replaced by her Dragoon armor. Jet pack lightning up, she blasted off into the sky, and headed off.

Fiora listened to the young elf's story carefully. After thinking about the situation, she spoke. "I understand. Please, take me to the woman. I'll see what I can do. You don't need to pay me back, either." She explained. "I would be happy to help her out for you. Healing those in need is what I do." She was smiling beneath her hood. She waited for the two elves to begin to lead her to their home.

~Ryonne & Viridem~

"Ready?"

"You say that as if I had a choice."

"Good." And before the tank could react, both of his victims had dashed away from their cover. They moved too fast for the machine to get a lock on the targets. Every time one paused long enough to even begin firing, they vanished again, either in a blur of motion or a burst of green petals.

"Phase Two!" One of them yelled out. The tank did not have much knowledge of human language aside from commands, but that did not sound good. The man appeared in front of the machine. Finally, these hostiles had the decency to stand still long enough to open fire. The spider tank fired a rocket at the man. But the man did not flinch, instead he seemed to be glowing, his thermal reading increasing at a very high rate. He stood with his hand on his hilt, as if waiting. The tank wanted to laugh. No man could stand up to a rocket with that kind of payload. But slowly the spider tank realized that the rocket was not doing quite what it was supposed to. It slowed almost to a stop. The tank could sense air movement around the rocket, fighting the momentum of the projectile. And the wind won, pushing the rocket back and flipping it around so that it faced the tank again. It opened fire with the machine guns again in an attempt to detonate the rocket before it betrayed him. But it was too late. Almost in synchronization, the man rushed forward, slicing with his glowing sword at the front leg. The rocket and blade impacted both of his front legs, destroying them. The man was blown to the side, but he quickly recovered, his aura of light having taken the brunt of the rocket.

"Three!" He yelled as the tank fell forward slightly. After all, he only had six legs now, and none of them could keep him completely up right without the seventh and eighth. The man dashed forward again, his blade flashing as he used a second strike of his light sword to take off most of the top part of the drone. The spider tank (now more of an ant tank) opened fire again with the machine guns, but the man had vanished once more in a blur of motion. Suddenly, the tank felt a weight on its exposed top.

"Open up!" The female voice said, and then everything felt wet.

Viridem flipped off of the tank as it fell forward, all of its electronics having been fried by the huge amount of water that had been forcefully interjected into its systems. Ryonne stood there, arms crossed, as if he was disappointed. Viridem rolled her eyes. "Don't tell me you wanted to fight a harder tank." She said.

"I was hoping you'd have a cooler one-liner than 'Open up'." He said, a trace of a smile playing on his lips before he turned to the walls of the outpost. "Let's get out of here." He said. Viridem nodded, her eyes turning towards the doors and balconies as they filled with more guards that seemed ready to fire on them. They escaped, Viridem riding the wind up and out while Ryonne simply ran up the wall.

~Vortludo~

"Why worry? Surely you are not concerned that we might not be able to handle ourselves in a mere tavern brawl?" Vortludo asked Slade, smiling a little bit. He enjoyed another sip of his drink. He looked directly at Yevgeni. "Considering that you want to take down this empire, and that our beloved leader obviously wants you too, I'd highly recommend joining us in the Order of Lux. Great benefits too." He continued, his pitch sounding a little bit jokey, but that was about as serious as the Noble ever got. "And if you still want that heist done, I'm sure we could arrange something. Perhaps even our witcher friend would like to help, with payment of course." Vortludo said, before taking another drink. He finally decided to actually look at the rest of the tavern... and he realized that worry might just be a good idea. Did he have any magic goods with him? He reached into his pocket, and pulled out a small bottle with a white cream inside. "If we must, this disguise cream would help. Simply rub it on your face, and an entirely different face will take its place. Temporarily, but it should be enough so that if they decide to attack us, well they would think they were attacking entirely different people. And should they report us, well, that wouldn't help if they are describing different people hmm?" Vortludo offered. It was not the perfect plan, but it was better than paying off everybody.

~Tekanorojia~

A woman appeared from the shadows in the throne room, her Nyx Suit dissolving away as she strode into the light. "Korben, darling, life here in this palace is wonderful of course," Teka started, her tone as falsely sweet as always. "But it is simply so boring. Don't you have anything a little demon like I could take care of real quick? Preferably an errand. Preferably a violent errand." She continued as she basically hung herself over the throne and by relation, the Emperor. "I'd really appreciate it," She continued, laying it on thick. Of course, Korben was certain to know her manipulative ways, but surely what she wanted wasn't so out of the question. Crushing a few rebels or some such would be a fun way to end the day.

~The Doctor~

"Oh Gabe, just the person I wanted to see." The Doctor said as he entered the lab, his eyes primarily focused on a tablet in his hands. Outside the door, one could see a giant wolf bear hybrid sleeping calmly in front of the door, curled up like a dog. The Phoenix and the Ciful were playing tag in the hallway. They were peaceful, and wouldn't hurt anybody, but they simply refused to stay anywhere without their master. He flicked through some pages of notes on the tablet. His work was messy and scattered, but the language would probably make sense to anybody else. "I wanted to double check with you before I went all in on the Spartan serum. The end goal is to create elite soldiers, assisted by a suit of armor and tanzynite. If you are handling that suit, then clearly I am wanted to do whatever Tanzynite is involved..." He trailed off in thought as he jotted down something more. "And I've managed to combine the effects of several of the mass-produced Tanzynites, Enduring Bolt, Scamper Speed, Gymnastics Expert, and Pack-A-Punch into a single one. There are some side effects, but I'm working on eliminating those. Is there anything else you want in the serum before I begin finishing it up? Perhaps one or two of the elemental controls... or maybe I can take a bit of the Devil's Blood. Anyway, what effects would best compliment the suit?" He asked, his eyes rarely looking up from the tablet in his hands.

-Yevgeni-

The blond raised a brow, glancing at the letter the rebellion leader had left in the heart of the table.  He scratched his chin thoughtfully with a gloved hand.  "Strangely I did not even realize that this order existed.  Throughout my travels I've only heard that it was rumored to exist."  Yev let out a dry laugh.  It made sense that he would believe it to be rumored.  That's what Korben wanted everyone to believe, so of course he was going to force feed the concept to all of society until it finally stuck.  Yev continued to look thoughtful before continuing.  "While I know that she's their leader, I'm a bit concerned on how reliable she is.  I mean, let's not lie: she knows how to make her presence known."

From a young age Yev was always taught to be skeptic: not to take the world for granted, or accept things that people merely said.  He was taught to always look at everyone and everything with a critical eye, and this was no exception.  It was only natural that he would put little faith in a rebel leader he didn't know, just as he could hardly trust the three men that he sat around. They were good men, however, and already Yev was developing a deep respect for them, even if he was wary of the Witcher.  "Very well, I will join you fine men in receiving an audience with your leader.  I cannot commit to joining yet, however, until I speak with her myself."  He eyed Mikhail, contemplating his offer before continuing, "I still would like your help, rebellion or not, sir.  What price would you request for your services?"  Finally, a frown furrowed his brows.  "In fact, I don't believe that I know the names of any of you.  My name is Yevgeni, Yevgeni Malachite.  Most friends call me Yev, however.  And you are?"

The blond was so busy engaging in conversation that he didn't notice a dark-haired young woman standing in the corner, watching them in the shadows and grinning.

--Ariana--

Upon Chrysalis's entrance Ari revved up the engine, before pulling it into gear and speeding off into the starry night.  It was certainly late, and sleep was certainly a question for both of them, but it wasn't an option in Ariana's eyes: she wanted to put her pet angel to the test, and she would do that with great pride.  Hopefully then the emperor would have more respect for her, perhaps even trust her as he used to int he olden days.  Over her shoulder Ari called out, "I hope you don't mind flying, my sweet!  We'll be there soon.  Are you ready to decorate some snow?"  A part of her thought surely Chrysalis wouldn't have fun during this mission, or perhaps she would find the freedom of killing to be thrilling.  She hoped for the latter.  Then they could have some common ground.

It wasn't long before they pulled into the small, silent village of Rhasolvich, one known to hoist a number of rebellion members, namely elves.  Snow fell peacefully, both on the ground, hills, and rooftops of the innocent homes.  Most windows were darkened, with only dim embers visibly lighting a single window in each home.  Ari turned to Chrysalis, considering her blankly before making a move to the cuff around her neck.  "I can't have you tied up if we're going to have fun, can I?"  Her voice was chilling, her smile malicious as she unlocked the cuff from around her neck and removed it.  "For now, but only for now.  Take my hand instead, would you, my pet?"

Nearby she saw two figures, undoubtedly elves, laying in the snow.  A young man and women, most certainly a couple.  The young woman pointed at the sky and her companion laughed.  A slow smile crept on the evil woman's face.  Chrysalis's first victims.

--Jadis--

The blue-haired mage could've jumped for joy.  Instead he bowed graciously to Fiora.  "Oh, ma'am, thank you so much!  You have no idea how much this means to me and Krea, and to Mara's family.  We'll lead the way, but we probably won't get there until morning.  We have enough money to buy shelter, for you as well as us, if you'll let me."  Jadis retrieved his goods that he'd left by the city gates and began in tow of Rhasolvich.  "By the way, my name's Jadis, and this here is my best friend, Krea.  What's your name, ma'am?  Where are you from?"

-Emperor Korben-

The Emperor was able to settle down for a while in his Throne Room, but was once more interrupted by someone, not nearly as annoying, but just as much of a bother. Tekanorojia had come to ask him of an errand, preferably violent, while hanging herself over his throne and himself, but he had no reaction other than moving her aside and standing up, beginning to pace.

"Well, little Demon...currently, I have nothing for you to do. However...if we wait just a few more minutes...something may turn up." He said and they waited literally for a few minutes before a panicked Empire Security Trooper ran into the Throne Room, but took a deep breath before speaking to calm down. "My Lord? Several of our men have been killed outside the Dark Horse Tavern! By some...scantily clad woman who took off shortly after! I, I ran with a couple of others so we could tell you...forgive my cowardice, but it had to be known outside the town." The Guard said with a mostly calm tone, but was afraid Korben would not be pleased. But Korben just...chuckled and spoke.

"Well done. If she had killed you all, well, that would be just too good for her. You took the smart option while the others threw away their lives futilely by the sounds of it." He said, then turned to his other guest.

"Tekanororjia? You now have a errand. She was bound to have been there for a purpose, perhaps...recruitment. Head to the Dark Horse Tavern with great haste and hunt anyone associated with the Order of Lux that may be there down." He ordered.

-Slade Joseph Wilson-

"Hmm, I'm not sure such a simple cream may help, Vort....the Empire can be cleverer than they might seem." He told his Noble(ish) friend calmly, then looked to Yevgeni. "I am called Slade. It is a pleasure to meet you. By now, you probably know Vortludo and the Witcher; Mikhail." He added.

-Chrysalis-

Taking Ari's hand, she seemed to relax, pressing closer due to the cold. She didn't have much in the way of clothing beyond her dress, and shivered a bit. She turned her head and hesitantly nuzzled Ari's side, testing to see how close Ari was going to let her get.

-Eclaire-

The trip was an hour or so, but the supersonic dropship was fast. And soon, it was over the Ruined City. Flaring, the dropship landed inside the main courtyard of a shell of a castle. Stepping out,her Rebels were all at attention, and she returned the wave of salutes. From all over the territories came these powerful warriors, these learning mage and the Tanzynite fueled denizens. She took a crate that was wheeled over, and stood tall.

"The first steps are taken!" She called into the crowd. "Korben is now on edge, his generals slaughtered and his forces angry. In anger you find recklessness, overestimation. But do not underestimate them! For in anger you find power! You find conviction! That is why we are here, because we are furious!" She let that sink in. "But find conviction in your rage, and righteousness in your hatred. We must fight for the right reasons, not for revenge!" She summoned In Paradisum into the air. "I promise to fight until my final breath. I ask all of you to be ready, for there are plans within plans, wheels within wheels. I will need everyone at their best for th coming storm. Brave it with me, cloak yourselves in true righteousness and wield your blades with conviction. The world is dying, and we are the final light. We are the Order. Now gather your squads, form your platoons. Prepare your companies. We are small, but we have the backing of the Goddess of Light, and now...not only does the Goddess of Victory smile upon us, but she brings us a might weapon." And from above, roared Kusanagi.

"Orience's mighty flagship has been recovered. The Kusanagi flies once more, and she shall be the tip of our noble spear. Hope rises every day. Our name will no longer be rumored or hidden. Today we are not known. We will become the hope of the world." She let In Paradisum dispel, but left her hand up. "I will fight on the frontlines with you. I will face the hardships you will face. Together, we shall prevail." Lowering her hand, she let them soak it up. "Dismissed. I will make one more declaration before the sunset, once I discuss with our command structure further. But I promise this - no more hiding. We are going big. Because when we go home, it will be in victory."

Stepping down, she walked through the crowd as they cheered, and mounted the stairs, where, in the main hall, Tiriel and Victoria waited.

-Victoria-

The Goddess of Victory stood with Tiriel, her lent Archangel. The two were discussing theit next move, and Victoria turned to Eclaire.

"E-"

"Tori." The words slipped out, almost seductively. Victoria blushed and fell silent, feeling the effects of Pheromone Inductment. She let Eclaire cross her arms and look at them.

"I have a crazy ass idea, Tori. Make sure you're ready."

Watching her go, Tori began heading upstairs to the War Room.

-Tiriel-

The Archangel let the talk, before heading out back. She found the rotunda, a shell of what the outdoor building was, and kneeled in the center. She pressed her hands together and extended her wings to pray.

"O Goddess, hear my prayers. Speak to me, so I may fly."

Tiriel, wrong Goddess. You need to specify Goddess of Light.

Tiriel facepalmed. "Sorry, Victoria." She took a breath. "O Goddess of Light - "

I was listening, Tiriel. What is your report?

"Eclaire is moving swiftly. She gained momentum with the assassination of the generals, her assaults and her forces. Your ways have brought much to the Order, but Hunter remains vengeful. He does not share the righteous fury if Eclaire and the Order, but his mighty vessel will be a major player in this war. What...do I do?"

Teresa does what she can, but he lost everything. Rika Hunter is losing herself to Ariana day by day. Already she has become enchanted with the woman, as if she desires a mother. Tiriel, I wish not to push this upon you, but you must find him a light. Even if you become it, he must be brought into my healing Light. Otherwise, there is no hope for Rika Hunter. She will become Fallen, and my influence has grown weak in the land. Jeremy, Eclaire. Victoria, my Goddess Companion. Viridem, Ryonne. Even Mikhail, no matter how sarcastic and jerklike be is, has a part to play. My Tiriel, continue supporting the Order. It is the best way for my Light to again touch this soiled ground.

"As you wish, my Goddess of Light...but do I have to see with Jeremy?"

I never said that. I said become his light, if no other light can be found. I'd say Teresa, but hi Angelic blood is difficult to appease. It yearns for both humanity and Angelic, and finds only one. It is why Rika is such a powerful force in him, and why her falling can force me to ask of you such a hard mission.

"I will bring his Oathkeeper to play, and I will being him a new Light...but what of Mikhail, Ryonne, Viridem? The new recruits, even Jadis, the young elf?"

Events shall unfold, Tiriel. Trust in me. I only steer you wrong in bed.

Tiriel blushed. "As you wish."

Derik walked out of the top of the ship, not a long trip at all in fact. "That was intresting..." he muttered, as the person who was piloting the ship kicked into a sort of war cry rant thing. He was never good with "leaders", no matter what way you shake it. Being bored, as he were, he exited the ship and floated down into the area where a number of folks were before, wondering who would speak up to him.

-Gabriel Stross-

Turning around, honestly surprised by the doctor's sudden entrance, "Spartan serum injectors in the spartan project suit are ready" the Suits Ai said, which Gabriel nodded as he brought a hand to his chin, or at least his suit's helmet's. upon hearing the man's suggestions for addition of a new instigator into the serum mix, Gabriel thought for a second as an idea came to his head, "Electro bolt." the Ai's voice said, speaking pretty much what Gabriel's brainwaves told it to.

"Electro bolt, high adaptability with the spartan suit's power system, nigh unlimited charge, the suit includes EMP resistance, allowing for even more battery life." she Ai said, "Lightning abitlities included.", Gabriel quickly walked over to his main terminal, which he used for all sorts of things, communication, hacking, surveilance, movies, all sorts of things, specially for project files, he browsed its contents until he found the project file "S.P.A.R.T.A.N" which with a press of a button.

The Lab's equipment and some of the floors began to retract into the ground and wall respectively, and soon, two suits came up from the ground in glass cages, both black, and both almost finished, one was designed for females, and the other for males, both offered the same capabilities, which included.

"Increased Tissue regeneration and immune system enhancers, life support oxygen systems, adrenaline storage system, stealth mode: invisibility, thermal and night vision, increased strenght and durability, and nano-repair system, ensuring the suit's quality and well being by repairing itself." Gabriel's AI spoke out loud, stating just the basic functions the suit had, "Including overdrive mode, but experimental and dangerous." the Ai added.

The suit, nothing like Gabriel's has never done before, as the suit's resembled much of his own, but not as strong, as the tanzynite serum would NOT make the person a Tanzynite user, it would inject them with a natural 'pure' version of the Tanzynites, giving the person the effects, without having them go on addiction, effectively making it a non-tanzynite empowered serum, which copied its abilities, the serum would be injected into the person's spines through needles embedded into the suit's spinal area, giving the person the enhanced capabilities, but only should they be wearing the suit, in the case they weren't, the compound would neutralize itself, this was hard to make, not exactly able to be mass produced due to its immense costs, Gabriel and the Doctor barely managed to get the resources from Korben to make it two of them.

Gabriel soon turned to the Doctor, "Project 89.98% finished." the Ai said.

The female spartan suit looked like this.

-Mikhail Drak-

"Name Mikhail, and yes Yev, I accept the job, all I require is a money reward, from either you, or from the rebellion, as im running dangerously low, barely able to maintain myself in this god forsaken capital." He explained to Yevgeni and to Vort, amused by the man's suggestion about the magic cream, "If we get approached, let me handle the talking, I've got some tricks up my sleeve to stop thing from going sour." Mikhail suggested, "And your boss does NOT know what discretion is...at all,  look at the mess she made on the street." Mikhail muttered to them so silently only the ones in the table could hear.

"Now answer me something, would anyone know who is the dark haired woman standing in the back of the tavern looking directly at us?, I believe she is grinning too." Mikhail said in an extremely nonchalant and relaxed tone. (Not amused)

-Henry Hansees-

Jumping from rooftop to rooftop to the northeast Henry soon caught something in the sky, which seemed to be a pod, he looked at it flying through the sky, "Well thats interesting, well I guess I know what I am doing now" he said with a grin, as he started to follow the Pod's trail in the sky, no doubt it was trouble, and he hoped it was, so he could have fun. (Ariana's and Chrysalis's pod).

"Peashy my dear...do you remember what you must do?" said a calm voice inside Peashy's head as she dreamed away "Remember..." said the calm voice as Peashy soon begun to wake up slowly rubbing her eyes "Wh-where am I?" said Peashy as she then gave a big yawn. "Ah, your finally up Peashy. Here put this on your left ear please" said the girl guard as she handed Peashy a little device "Okay!" said Peashy happy to do so, after she put it on her left ear the device started to extend a little green colored glass piece just in front of her left eye "What is this thingy?" said Peashy as she poked it. "It's a special device made mainly for you with help from Gabriel. It's called a DBZ scouter ( xD ) & it can scan an area for anyone using magic within a short distance, it's been given a data base of every known person loyal to the empire & displays them in the color blue for ally through the color glass piece of the scouter. But anyone not in the data base of the empire will be displayed in the color red for enemy. So far this is version 1 of the DBZ scouter, we're working to make a much better one that can increase it's scanning distance & other improvements too." said the guard. Peashy's head was steaming with confusion "AAAAHHH!! Tell me what's it do?!" screamed Peashy as she waved her arms in the air "If it shows red kill, if it shows blue don't kill & just follow it's directions when evil magic shows up K kid?" said the girl guard.

Soon Peashy was inside a military car heading outside of Langerdon's gates "Okay kid, This is where you start your searching." said the guard as he stopped the car pushing Peashy outside the door "HEY! meany" said Peashy before she looked up seeing the nights sky filled with stars "WOOOOW! so cool! YAY! hahaha" said Peashy as she started to run around staring at the wonderful sky. "HEY KID! just so you know we've sent a soldier to tell lord Korben that your heading out to patrol & kill any magic users that aren't loyal to us & one last thing" said the guard as he then pressed a red button on a remote control device he held. "AAAHHHHH!!!" screamed Peashy as she was then shocked by electricity "Hey! stop that you idiot! do you wanna kill her & get lord Korben on your ass? you know what happens when you lower his warrior strength right?" said the girl guard grabbing the remote control off him "That's what you'll get if you run off again like last time & take these special food balls to eat" yelled the guard at Peashy as he threw them at her. They then quickly drove off back into Langerdon leaving poor Peashy all alone. Peashy slowly stood up shaking a bit "I HATE YOOOOOU!!!" screamed Peashy as she begun to run off into the distance with some of the special food balls "Hate you...hate you...hate you..." said peashy as she walked all alone in through the night soon gets dropped onto the ground staring at the night sky filled with many stars "I hate them...I wish my mum was here" said Peashy as she closed her  eyes letting some tears fall down her cheeks.

-Yevgeni-

Yev nodded graciously toward the three men.  "It's a pleasure to meet you all.  It is nice to be in the companionship of like-minded people." Unlike the crazy father who actually supported the imperial cause, Yev thought bitterly, clenching his fist tightly upon the table.  It was then that the cream proffered by Vortludo arrested his attention, giving it a quick glance before removing a white glove, "It's a good thought, yes, and perhaps we should do just that.  It'd be better than having wanted posters with our faces all over town, I'll admit, as I would rather wear the cream now than having to support it for the rest of my life.  Slade poses a good question, though: will it actually fool the empire?"

Upon being noticed by Mikhail, the dark-haired woman in the corner gracefully made her way over to their table.  She propped an elbow on the wooden plank between Yev and Mikhail's drinks, turning and grinning at the Witcher.  "I think I've seen you around before, haven't I?" she inquired smoothly, her demeanor bubbly.  "Mikhail, isn't it?  My sister might even know you, in fact.  May I buy you all another drink?"  Inwardly she smirked to herself.  She would receive quite the reward from the imperials if she could manage to keep them here long enough for Tekanororjia to arrive.  She only hoped her beauty, youth, and charm could buy her the time she needed.

-Ariana-

At first the woman glanced down, surprised at Chrysalis's reaction.  Stupid girl, she couldn't help but think, doesn't she know that I'm her worst nightmare?  It then made her pause, eyes widening as she looked down into the young girl's face.  Did she see something in Ari that others didn't?  Was there actually something worth liking in her?  Did Chrysalis, for what it was worth, actually care for Ari?  Ari gave a start, awkwardly embracing the child's head before grasping her shoulders, pulling her away.  "Now, this is what you must do: lure the man over there in the snow"--she pointed toward the young couple, the man having recently sat up and patted his girlfriend's shoulder--"by using any manner of charm you wish, but get him away from the young woman.  Kill him, and then capture the woman.  We will return her to the empire where we can run tests on her before executing her for the illegal use of magic."  She ran an icy finger soothingly down Chrysalis's cheek.  "I'm here, my pet, if you need me, but I trust you can execute this flawlessly on your own.  After that, we will raid the rest of this city for the abominable magi."

Little did she realize, however, that Henry was approaching, and may very well interfere with their plans.

Normally, Fiora would be a bit more hesitant to give away her identity, especially to people who knew she was a mage. However, she could tell that these two children could be trusted. She removed her hood, allowing the two to see her face. "I am Fiora." She introduced herself. "I was born in a small city near the empire's reach, although I don't really have a specific home these days. I travel to villages like this one often. I'm not really the type to stay in one place for a long time." She explained. Of course, she did spend time with other members of the rebellion fairly often. At the same time, she wasn't exactly lying. She didn't like to stay in one town for too long. "Anyway, it's nice to meet you two." She smiled at the children. "I can help pay for shelter, too, if you'd like."

-Slade Joseph Wilson-

As this strange dark-haired woman waltzed up to them, chatting to them with a bubbly, yet strange demeanour, Slade couldn't help but feel that something wasn't right and spoke up.

"You. You were at the corner grinning at us earlier...something funny, lady?" He spoke coldly to the odd woman, his gut feeling telling him that something really wasn't right. "Well, we really must be going I believe. Considering the dramatic flair of the other woman and our chatter is finished, we should leave. Mikhail? Yev? Vort? With me." He ordered, then whispered to Vort. "I don't like her. Let's leave quickly."

-Roman Sionis "Black Mask"-

Roman sat in his office in a Building within the same city as the current Rebel Members and those who are being recruited, counting money in his hands to pass the time while he awaited a report from one of his Thugs that he had sent to see what they were doing. He had already gotten his report on the Empire: Same bullshit, different day as per usual with Korben, with the addition of a break-in by some broad and a random guy. "Empire security is lousy these days, uh?" He said to himself as he reflected.

Knock knock. "Boss? It's Jonas." Someone called from behind the door. "Come on in." Roman said, then the aforementioned Jonas entered the office while Roman adjusted himself from his original reclining position to a more focused one. "What's the big news?" He inquired, while Jonas handed him a Datapad, which Roman pushed a button and watched footage of Eclaire destroying a TV in a Tavern, spouting heroic nonsense and leaving, but not before killing several Imperial Guards. "The Order's on the move then?" Roman asked, to which Jonas nodded. "Managed to record that without being noticed or being offed, boss." He boasted to Roman, who laughed, got up and patted him on the shoulder. "This is why I count on you. You're gettin' a raise." He told him. "Thanks, Boss." He replied, then inquired: "Now whadda we do?" Roman walked away to his window overlooking the city and spoke. "We're gonna take advantage of these schmucks fightin' their war for the Throne. 'Cause really, that's what it is. Eclaire wants Korben outta th' picture. There's money to be made in this venture....as long as that big brute doesn't get in our way." Roman spoke, putting particular emphasis on the last part, to which Jonas shuddered. "S-Scourge?! What does that punk want with this?!" He questioned. "Whaddya think? Money! Tanzynite! The Throne! The last one I'm not concerned with gettin' but he...whew! He wants it so he can be king! Or, well, Emperor technically. He once ruled his Prison so, why stop there?" He asked, Jonas was about to answer, but Roman stopped him. "It's rhetorical you idiot." Roman then sat down. "We just gotta make our move and make it soon, ya hear me?" "Yes, Boss! When do we move?" Roman then leaned forward. "Tomorrow night. 'Cause I can feel all of the madness just ready to burst soon, but not too soon....we gotta be ready. Off ya go, tell the others!" "Yes, Boss!" Jonas then left and Roman pondered some more.

-Scourge-

Typing on a computer, Scourge was still working on his version of TN-1, still in the Testing Phase, trying to calculate how to rid the compound of its memory compromising issues and lowered intelligence during its usage. He had gotten rid of the compounds tendency to kill its users or cripple them for life, just like the Empire Version had, but his was far more potent yet still had the previous issues with Memory and Intellect.

His door was open however and a Thug of his Gang, outfitted with a Venom Delivery System like himself entered and spoke to him. "Boss? May I speak to you?" He asked. "I'm busy, Rodrigo." He told him, still typing. "Please, Sir. It's important." Rodrigo pleaded, which had Scourge quietly sigh but oblige, swivelling his chair around to face him. "What is it?" He asked, Rodrigo then spoke. "The Order of Lux is making its presence known and the Empire isn't happy." He told him, eliciting a deep sigh from Scourge. "Of course they are...let me guess: Eclaire being dramatic?" He asked, Rodrigo nodded. "Gah....the bruja....never learns her lesson, does she?" He mused, then looked to Rodrigo. "I imagine Black Mask will want to take advantage of the War about to brew, so let us beat him to the punch. Get the men ready, we set out tomorrow night to take advantage of this insanity." He ordered calmly, to which Rodrigo nodded and left, leaving Scourge to his work.

-Azrael-

Meanwhile, in the depths of hell itself, in a small, circular arena like area in the middle of a larger, feature-filled field of rocks, magma, falling meteors and massive swords embedded in the ground as landmarks, sat a over 9-feet tall, 4-Armed Elder Demon and a truly legendary one at that. His countless achievements through the Millennia have earned him his title: The Embodiment of Chaos.

Azrael sat in his throne, observing the current events via a projection before him, looking for his moment to enter the fray, which he had been looking for for years now, but a few years was nothing to a Demon like him and he was patient...and that is saying something.

His attention however was caught by his observation of a Pink-Haired Woman making herself known against the Korbenic Empire. Against the Dark Emperor Korben....he had to admire such a stand. He saw the Empire, the Rebellion and even the Criminals making their moves and planning their future moves...then chuckled in a deep, human-like voice rather than the expected Demonic voice, but its tone resonated with "intimidating" and "threatening" easily. (Keith David's voice.)

"Everything is in motion...I must step into the fray now and begin my plan." He said to himself, rising from his slouch in his throne and standing in the centre of his arena, gathering power, focusing it in his hands as crackling, raw demonic energy and brought them forward, then outward, the last motion opening a Portal to his destination, in the Forgotten Isle first and foremost, as he knew that is where the Order of Lux resided. He of course could not go there as a Demon, so he glowed red, closed his eyes and his appearance morphed in a flash: To a black coated, hooded and masked man. A mysterious enough appearance to pass himself off as, say, an informant, but not ostentatious enough to out him as something different among this group of ragtag madmen. He softly chuckled and stepped through the Portal, closing it behind him and walking to the Entrance to the Rebel Base.

-Mikhail Crad-

"Nice to see my name's popular.." Mikhail commented, as he nodded slowly, tricking her into going to order more drinks, and possibly going to the bartender as he turned to Slade, who had just spoke, "Agreed, I noticed the intent in her voice, she means something else other than just buying us drinks, and I don't like it." he said putting on his hood, making sure that the cloack covered his swords as well, "Shall we move out before any attention is brought to us? we can discuss matters at a more...appropriate location." He spoke, ready to leave.

-Henry Hansees-

Not getting too far from where the pod landed, he knew where he was going, well according to the maps he read back at the empire, this way led to Rhasolvich,  a quiet village, very quiet, but with ties to the Rebellion, well, passing rebbelion patrols were often, but nothing too troublesome, but maybe the Empire finally decided to send someone to take care of the rebellion, "And by that, wipe out the entire village" he muttered at the realization, he knew the empire all too well, kill innocents, take some alive to experiment and dispose of later, much like how he became the man he was, with that damn tanzynite.

The village was in sight, although he was taking it slow, to not warn them of his presence, his energy purging itself,  becoming nul and unable to be felt, as he slowly approached the snowy village, and shivered a bit due to the cold, but he'd handle it.

~Vortludo~

"Ah, my friends, you are too distrusting. What kind of fine lady would so randomly decide to turn us in! And it is not like we are obviously rebellion members. We could be patrons of this bar just as easily as anyone else!" Vortludo protested. "In fact, I will go help her carry out drinks." He said, getting up to prove his point. "The art of chivalry has been lost on you all." He said pointedly, moving towards the bar. He grabbed the platter of drinks and carried it for her, giving the girl a winning smile. "As they made it back to the table, Vortludo set the plate of drinks down, and pulled a chair out. She smiled at him as she sat down. He took a seat next to her. "Thank you, lady with eyes like the dawn." He said to her as he challenged his other comrades to say that he was wrong.

"Oh sweetie," Another very feminine voice said from behind him.

"Ah, is that a lyre I hear?" He said, complimenting her voice as he turned around.

~Tekanolojia~

"Oh Korben," She moaned, sliding past him purposely making a lot of bodily contact. "You always know how to make a girl happy." She giggled a little bit before vanishing into the shadows once more after donning Nyx. She reappeared in the Dark Horse Tavern, and quickly switched out of her suit again so that she could approach a table full of men, some very obviously holding weapons. A woman was seated next to them. Teka sauntered towards them, until she finally stood right behind a man with long dark hair.

"Oh sweetie," She said seductively.

"Ah, is that a lyre I hear?" The stupid man flirted, turning his face right towards her. His lips quickly met with something he was probably not predicting. He flew through the wall of the tavern as she cracked her armored knuckles. Ember spread around her as she glanced at the rest of the party.

"Next?" She asked. The girl quickly stood from her chair and dashed over to the Demoness' side.

"They were about to leave." She whispered in Teka's ear.

"And you will be rewarded justly." Tekanolojia claimed. "Now out of the way so I can end the lives of a few foolish Order of Lux members." She said, pushing the girl away. She fell and scrambled away so that she could watch the ensuing chaos.

~Ryonne & Viridem~

"I still think that was a dumb idea, just in case you think we can keep going on suicide missions like that." Viridem continued to argue with Ryonne as they made their way into the headquarters of the Order of Lux.

"It being a suicide mission would imply that everyone on it would die. We are both still alive. Hence, not a suicide mission." Ryonne explained reasonably.

"I hate you so much." The Wind said, shaking her head. They stood now in the courtyard of the rebellion. "I'm going to go check with Arkham, make sure our mission wasn't for nothing."

"Eclaire." Ryonne stated his destination, nodding. They parted ways.

~Viridem~

Viridem entered the laboratories of the Order of Lux. Though they didn't have many materials or engineers, what little they did have were down here. Led by Arkham, the technology and weapon development were in good hands. "Oh Arkham," She called out. "Come out come out wherever you are." She continued, almost like she was playing hide and seek. She did not like being down here. She always felt like she was going to randomly be experimented on. That was a sad truth when you were a poor kid. If subjects were needed by the Empire, they were picked from the populace that no one would notice a missing little girl.

~Ryonne~

As the Swordsman walked through the main area of the compound, he noticed one man. He seemed larger than the rest, two blades mounted on his back, wearing a large coat. He had not seen this man before, and that was odd. He knew many of the Rebellion members by name, and he knew all of the strong ones. And this man... he was strong. Ryonne could not tell why he knew, but it was a truth deeply rooted in the annals of history. Ryonne approached him. "Who are you?" He asked simply. The man did not seem an enemy, but nonetheless his grip on his compound weapon tightened. It was almost like his aura itself was overpowering him. It was an odd feeling, one that Ryonne had not confronted before.

~Neena~

Silent. Stay silent. If you make any kind of noise, move too much, draw any kind of attention to yourself, your dead. That is what she kept telling herself. She was silently stalking this man, who seemed to be following another thing. She stayed quite a bit of distance away, augmenting her vision with light by manifesting lenses over her eyes. He seemed dangerous, and he almost certainly had Tanzynite. She had taught herself to notice any little thing that keyed into being affected by tanzynite. They walked a certain way, eyes all had a certain nameless quality about them. In work such as this, mistaking mages for tanzynite users could cost an innocent life. And Neena was not in the business of taking innocent lives.

~The Doctor~

The Doctor moved about the glass containers. "Electro bolt, got it." He muttered, scribbling it down into his notes. He looked up at the suit, paying particular attention to the spinal injectors. He took a picture with his datapad, then accessed the files on it. It would work with almost any tanzynite, but the serum itself wouldn't work if it was tanzynite based. It would need to be a synthetic compound, mimicking the effects of the tanzynite, but removing some of the drawbacks. Because if he kept the basic tanzynite structure in there, not only would the already bad side effects be incredibly amplified, but the similar structures would make integration into a single compound nearly impossible. He took the necessary files from the suit's blueprints then looked back up to Gabriel. "Looks good so far. I need a bit more time to iron out the kinks in the serum. It's also worth noting that it'll be incredibly expensive, so we won't have much in this first batch. Probably only enough for these two suits. Maybe if they're very effective then we'll get more funding for more of them." He commented. He heard a large and high-pitched noise from outside the door. The Vukodlak sat there, and whined again, pawing at the door. "John! Quiet." He commanded his pet. The monster whined again, but was met only with a challenging glare from its master. Finally, John the Vukodlak gave up and rolled back up. The Doctor glanced back towards Gabriel. "Apologies. John gets like that during meeting days since I don't have time to play with him beforehand." He said, explaining the odd behavior of the beast. Well, tried to explain. "Oh, speaking of the meeting, I slept straight through it. I was up late dissecting a hydra corpse. What happened? When I reawoke everyone was gone, the floor was broken, and there were spent bullet casings on the floor." The Monstrumologist inquired about the meeting he had unfortunately missed.
