It was a cold, brittle day that swept throughout the land.  Or, rather, the inhabited portion.  Much of this dying earth has withered away, leaving much land dry, lifeless, and relatively impossible to live upon.  It was late November, and the heaviness of Winter was only just falling upon them.

There are cities, towns, and small villages scattered everywhere across the continent.  Many of which are now subservient to the empire, yet there are some which still exist free from the Emperor's reign, and they aren't in happy places.  These villages and cities are cold, raided, and . . . starving.  The land, in its final dying stages, host little vegetation and thus hardly produce good crops.  There is little food as well as resources to acquire it.  Most villages independent of the empire cannot afford Tanzynite for their life source, so they are still reliant upon the nutrients that food provide.  With this, disease is more prominent in some societies, and yet without Tanzynite--or a proper Healing Mage--they can hardy treat the person.

As a Rebellion Member you are free to roam any cities which you see fit.  Perhaps it's your home, or perhaps you are merely visiting.  Maybe you're gathering recruits, or even still gathering information about the Empire's ongoings.  The age is one of technology, where everything is electronically run.  Modern technology exists, but a lot of places on the map do not support cellular service.

At the heart of the nation rests the metallic castle walls of the Imperial City, Langerdon.  Its thick walls made of heavy iron and other metals make it nearly impossible to penetrate.  The city inside is one where people live lavishly, having every possible luxury that one would request.  Even the poorest people in Langerdon have comfortable lives, an object for many rebels to envy.  The streets and city are all technologically advanced and predominately made of steel and iron, the palace being no exception.  The castle works for itself, and it alone could be used as a weapon to keep unwanted guests away.  There lives the Emperor Korben himself, along with his many loyal subjects and cronies.

As a Subject/Member of the Empire you are to adhere to Korben's orders within Langerdon, the Capital City and remain within that city on patrol, or maybe you're permitted within the Palace/Castle, or maybe you're on assignment in another city to look out for Rebels or Treasonous Individuals. However, those are for later, as right now, all members of the Empire are currently in a meeting with the Emperor to discuss recent events, the Rebellion, Plans etc. You have no problems with communication with the Emperor, as he can "Astral Project" technically using his Dark Powers.

In the Criminal Underworld resides those who don't obey the laws nor do they take them into their own hands, but they break them. Break them like the proverbial knee cap, or the literal one. There are Crime Lords, Gangs, Organized Crime-Doers and just those who commit Petty Crime. There also reside Information Brokers and such who can provide info, usually reliable given their range due to lawlessness. Those who are Criminals, you do what you please, be it robbing shops, banks, people or dealing drugs or weapons, it matters not in the Slums.

Those who are independent free spirits you do what you please, aid the Rebellion, tip off the Empire or do Parkour, you are completely free, but alone in this cold-hearted world.

You all have your places and roles, now is the time to shape your stories, for your fate is in your hands.

-Emperor Korben-

Others were arriving for the meeting, but Korben tended to be the last to arrive for he would stand at his balcony and look out upon his city, his eyes glistening and emitting Dark Blue Energy through his helmet as he gazed and scanned the city which was bathed in Moonlight as it tended to be at this time of Night. In his earlier days as Emperor, he'd be at peace observing his city, but nowadays the constant bothering by the Rebellion irk him constantly, especially when he looks at Langerdon and beyond...he can see the turmoil even when it isn't happening....yet. He couldn't help but clench his hands as he rested them upon the Stone Ledge, leaving grooves where his fingers ground against it. "Accursed Rebel scum..." He muttered in a low, darkly distorted voice.

"Mi'lord?" His pondering ceased upon a female subject, a maid, entered his room to fetch him and he went back into his room from the balcony and greeted her. "Hmm?" He uttered. "They're ready for you at the Round Table, my Emperor." She told him, earning a nod from the Emperor as he left his room while she went back to her duties. Korben walked through the corridors, past many rooms, small events and ornaments until got to a set of large wooden doors and pushed them open, announcing his arrival which silenced the muttering Senior Subjects who awaited his arrival. The doors closed behind him as he took his seat, a Throne which was far more regal and decorated than their chairs, but some had better seating to show their higher ranking than others there. The Emperor sat firm...and spoke.

"Gentlemen and Ladies, welcome...." He leans forward. "Let us discuss. First point of business, how goes the flow of Tanzynite and their profits?" He asked, then someone spoke up, presumably the one in charge of the Finances and Flow of Tanzynite and he dressed like a Scientist, but more formal. "My liege. The Tanzynite flows smoothly, no thieveries by Criminals this Month and Profits are up by 2%, sir." He explained. "Most excellent, but increase and adapt Marketing, I want profits to go up by 5% next time. Do not water-down any of the chemicals or make any new ones yet. If you need to, get Thomas to help you." He replied, the Scientist nodded, Thomas being one of his assistants. "By the way, Thomas has suggested we should perhaps market to a younger audience?" He put this forward nervously, but did not shudder...until Korben spoke. "Need I remind you....that we do NOT market what is basically Drugs to children! *Ahem* ....you tell Thomas that, Timothy." He addressed the Scientist, known as Timothy, who nodded in response, making a note.

Korben then turned to the higher ups (Player Characters of the Empire) and spoke up. "What news of the Rebellion?" He put forward.

~Vortludo~

"Ah, my friends, you are too distrusting. What kind of fine lady would so randomly decide to turn us in! And it is not like we are obviously rebellion members. We could be patrons of this bar just as easily as anyone else!" Vortludo protested. "In fact, I will go help her carry out drinks." He said, getting up to prove his point. "The art of chivalry has been lost on you all." He said pointedly, moving towards the bar. He grabbed the platter of drinks and carried it for her, giving the girl a winning smile. "As they made it back to the table, Vortludo set the plate of drinks down, and pulled a chair out. She smiled at him as she sat down. He took a seat next to her. "Thank you, lady with eyes like the dawn." He said to her as he challenged his other comrades to say that he was wrong.

"Oh sweetie," Another very feminine voice said from behind him.

"Ah, is that a lyre I hear?" He said, complimenting her voice as he turned around.

~Tekanolojia~

"Oh Korben," She moaned, sliding past him purposely making a lot of bodily contact. "You always know how to make a girl happy." She giggled a little bit before vanishing into the shadows once more after donning Nyx. She reappeared in the Dark Horse Tavern, and quickly switched out of her suit again so that she could approach a table full of men, some very obviously holding weapons. A woman was seated next to them. Teka sauntered towards them, until she finally stood right behind a man with long dark hair.

"Oh sweetie," She said seductively.

"Ah, is that a lyre I hear?" The stupid man flirted, turning his face right towards her. His lips quickly met with something he was probably not predicting. He flew through the wall of the tavern as she cracked her armored knuckles. Ember spread around her as she glanced at the rest of the party.

"Next?" She asked. The girl quickly stood from her chair and dashed over to the Demoness' side.

"They were about to leave." She whispered in Teka's ear.

"And you will be rewarded justly." Tekanolojia claimed. "Now out of the way so I can end the lives of a few foolish Order of Lux members." She said, pushing the girl away. She fell and scrambled away so that she could watch the ensuing chaos.

~Ryonne & Viridem~

"I still think that was a dumb idea, just in case you think we can keep going on suicide missions like that." Viridem continued to argue with Ryonne as they made their way into the headquarters of the Order of Lux.

"It being a suicide mission would imply that everyone on it would die. We are both still alive. Hence, not a suicide mission." Ryonne explained reasonably.

"I hate you so much." The Wind said, shaking her head. They stood now in the courtyard of the rebellion. "I'm going to go check with Arkham, make sure our mission wasn't for nothing."

"Eclaire." Ryonne stated his destination, nodding. They parted ways.

~Viridem~

Viridem entered the laboratories of the Order of Lux. Though they didn't have many materials or engineers, what little they did have were down here. Led by Arkham, the technology and weapon development were in good hands. "Oh Arkham," She called out. "Come out come out wherever you are." She continued, almost like she was playing hide and seek. She did not like being down here. She always felt like she was going to randomly be experimented on. That was a sad truth when you were a poor kid. If subjects were needed by the Empire, they were picked from the populace that no one would notice a missing little girl.

~Ryonne~

As the Swordsman walked through the main area of the compound, he noticed one man. He seemed larger than the rest, two blades mounted on his back, wearing a large coat. He had not seen this man before, and that was odd. He knew many of the Rebellion members by name, and he knew all of the strong ones. And this man... he was strong. Ryonne could not tell why he knew, but it was a truth deeply rooted in the annals of history. Ryonne approached him. "Who are you?" He asked simply. The man did not seem an enemy, but nonetheless his grip on his compound weapon tightened. It was almost like his aura itself was overpowering him. It was an odd feeling, one that Ryonne had not confronted before.

~Neena~

Silent. Stay silent. If you make any kind of noise, move too much, draw any kind of attention to yourself, your dead. That is what she kept telling herself. She was silently stalking this man, who seemed to be following another thing. She stayed quite a bit of distance away, augmenting her vision with light by manifesting lenses over her eyes. He seemed dangerous, and he almost certainly had Tanzynite. She had taught herself to notice any little thing that keyed into being affected by tanzynite. They walked a certain way, eyes all had a certain nameless quality about them. In work such as this, mistaking mages for tanzynite users could cost an innocent life. And Neena was not in the business of taking innocent lives.

~The Doctor~

The Doctor moved about the glass containers. "Electro bolt, got it." He muttered, scribbling it down into his notes. He looked up at the suit, paying particular attention to the spinal injectors. He took a picture with his datapad, then accessed the files on it. It would work with almost any tanzynite, but the serum itself wouldn't work if it was tanzynite based. It would need to be a synthetic compound, mimicking the effects of the tanzynite, but removing some of the drawbacks. Because if he kept the basic tanzynite structure in there, not only would the already bad side effects be incredibly amplified, but the similar structures would make integration into a single compound nearly impossible. He took the necessary files from the suit's blueprints then looked back up to Gabriel. "Looks good so far. I need a bit more time to iron out the kinks in the serum. It's also worth noting that it'll be incredibly expensive, so we won't have much in this first batch. Probably only enough for these two suits. Maybe if they're very effective then we'll get more funding for more of them." He commented. He heard a large and high-pitched noise from outside the door. The Vukodlak sat there, and whined again, pawing at the door. "John! Quiet." He commanded his pet. The monster whined again, but was met only with a challenging glare from its master. Finally, John the Vukodlak gave up and rolled back up. The Doctor glanced back towards Gabriel. "Apologies. John gets like that during meeting days since I don't have time to play with him beforehand." He said, explaining the odd behavior of the beast. Well, tried to explain. "Oh, speaking of the meeting, I slept straight through it. I was up late dissecting a hydra corpse. What happened? When I reawoke everyone was gone, the floor was broken, and there were spent bullet casings on the floor." The Monstrumologist inquired about the meeting he had unfortunately missed.

"Aren't we a tad cut-happy?" Derik could only chuckle.

"It's best you don't know my name. Those who do often find themselves in some bad situations, not like trouble doesn't follow me around." He looked over the man who had addressed him. "Wet behind the ears, but has great potential." He thought. His arms moved to his coat straps, the armor on him fell to the ground with a disturbingly loud thud.

"However, a title most stories of my actions write me as "a monster in human flesh", so I figure that for now the name I'll give you is Monster."

He rolled his shoulders out, loud, audible cracking and popping sounds could be heard. "Still a tad tight, it's been a long time since I last took that off." He gestured to the jacket. He walked past Ryonne, into the crowd. "Don't bother picking it up, that jacket weights way more than the average team of three hundred human's to lift it. And don't touch my weapon's, one has a bit of an attitude and the other is probably too heavy for you to lift." He began to meander around the base...

Sitting with Victoria around the main table, they were discussing strategy while messengers fetched the needed people.

Messengers would run and get Ryonne and Viridem, since everyone else was away, and request them in the War Room. There they'd find Eclaire and Victoria waiting as always, as Tiriel was currently at the main gate, dealing with the intruder.

-Tiriel-Her prayers were halted by the demonic presence that appeared. It was beyond what usually was near, and caused her alarm. Rising, her two angel wings unfurled and she was engulfed in golden flames, and appeared before the gate, hovering. Her sword and shield were engulfed in divine flames, and even said flames rolled off her armor and wings. She pointed Divine Retribution at Azrael."Fallen Angel of Death, you come where you are unwelcome. This castle is protected by the holy light of my Goddess, and you are unwelcome." She did not falter, her blade leveled well. She feared no Elder Demon. Not even Azrael. -Slade Joseph Wilson-

Slade couldn't help but feel exasperated at Vorts suggestion and looked back at him. "My apologies but, I don't think a random girl who's smiling at us rather creepily is really worth trusting, especially her sudden generosity. You have to be careful in times like these, you know, instead of suspiciously specific denial during a situation such as thi--wh, what are you doing?" His lecture trailed off as he was distracted by the seductive voice...then swiftly sent flying across the room by someone new, who quickly outed herself as an Empire Assassin and started chaos in the Tavern with her mere presence and the hurting of his troublesome, but still admirable friend.

"Vortludo! Damn it...." He took out one of his swords and looked at Yevgeni and Mikhail. "One of you help me and the other help Vort, I don't care which of you does it." He said calmly but sternly as he tried to find Tekanolojia in this crowded place.

-Nolan "Arkham" Vigil-

An fully armoured, helmeted man was working in the Laboratories of the Order, tweaking his suit and coming up with new weapons and gadgets while modifying old ones, Datapad in hand and constantly tapping on it to be sure, Nolan was nearing the end of his busy hours, as while he had an obsession with his research, his rational side was strong and knew he had to stop sometime.

"Ahh, it's about that time...." He said as he checked the time on his HUD; time to stop for a bit, putting down his Datapad and stretching...then picked up his Datapad and started working again, but was interrupted by a familiar voice, sounding like they were playing Hide-and-Seek with him.

"Viridem? *Chuckles* Come to play in my lab, have we?" He spoke through his voice modulator, making the situation somewhat creepy, 'till he put down his Datapad and turned around to speak a little more courteously, but she was not in immediate sight, so he walked around to look for her. "Ya don't need to however, I'm not one to hurt kids. I'm not one of those assholes at the Empire....well, not anymore. It's been a few years and I was never comfortable with hurting children anyway, but besides that!" He spoke aloud, checking in cubby holes or hiding spots to see if she was actually playing Hide-and-Seek with him, as well as analysing the area with his Bio-Scanner in his Helmet HUD.

-Yevgeni-

Yev nodded graciously toward the three men.  "It's a pleasure to meet you all.  It is nice to be in the companionship of like-minded people." Unlike the crazy father who actually supported the imperial cause, Yev thought bitterly, clenching his fist tightly upon the table.  It was then that the cream proffered by Vortludo arrested his attention, giving it a quick glance before removing a white glove, "It's a good thought, yes, and perhaps we should do just that.  It'd be better than having wanted posters with our faces all over town, I'll admit, as I would rather wear the cream now than having to support it for the rest of my life.  Slade poses a good question, though: will it actually fool the empire?"

Upon being noticed by Mikhail, the dark-haired woman in the corner gracefully made her way over to their table.  She propped an elbow on the wooden plank between Yev and Mikhail's drinks, turning and grinning at the Witcher.  "I think I've seen you around before, haven't I?" she inquired smoothly, her demeanor bubbly.  "Mikhail, isn't it?  My sister might even know you, in fact.  May I buy you all another drink?"  Inwardly she smirked to herself.  She would receive quite the reward from the imperials if she could manage to keep them here long enough for Tekanororjia to arrive.  She only hoped her beauty, youth, and charm could buy her the time she needed.

-Ariana-

Before the happy elf couple laying in the snow could react Peashy came down from the snowy sky in her goddess form stabbing both of them with her claw like weapons killing them instantly, as the snow Peashy stood in turned red Peashy turned her head to see 2 figures (Ariana & Chrysalis) not to far away from her. Peashy's first thought was kill them & so she jumped off the snow flying straight for them both about to strike but then Peashy's DBZ scouter quickly scanned them both & through the DBZ scouter it showed their names above their heads & they appeared in the color blue. Peashy saw they were colored blue "WAAAAA!!" screamed Peashy as she quickly stopped herself only 5 feet away from them "WOW! that was close. Sorry lady Ariana & little Chrysalis, I thought you were evil HAHAHA! I'm glad I found someone blue while I was traveling through the sky. So this is Rhasolvich...hey, it's snowing here!" said Peashy as she held out her right hand letting some snow fall into her palm before throwing the snow in her hand at Chrysalis "HEY! Do you two wanna play in the snow with me? it'll be FUN hahaha!" laughed Peashy as she jumped up & down bouncing with joy & wonder.

-Chrysalis-

The girl had finally begun walking when Peashy fell from the sky, killing the couple instantly. She screamed and turned around, throwing herself into Ariana. It had been so fast her fear instincts kicked in, and she buried her face in Ari's stomach, small arms holding her tightly.

-Tiriel-

As her prayers ended she snapped up, eyes wide. With a flaming explosion she disappeared, and re-appeared before the gates.

"Demon." She hissed, sword drawn. "You are not welcome here, Hellspawn. You think I cannot feel your presence?" Low level it seemed. But that still did not make it feel any more right.

-Emperor Korben-

Korben was once more unaffected by the odd actions of Tekanolojia, sure she seemed voluptuous and flat out sexy as well as a Hypersexual, but she does it to manipulate people, repeatedly attempting to gain influence on Korben many a time, all failed yet her moves do not falter. Determination doesn't cover it.

As she left, he could now relax. Korben at this point was physically unable to sleep, but can instead hibernate his body, which he proceeded to do, returning to a position in his throne where his head was resting upon his closed right hand and the flames from his eye holes in his helmet lowered to mere embers to show his resting state.

-Azrael/Masked Man-

Azrael couldn't help but chuckle slightly at the hostility before him, but raised his hands and forearms nevertheless. "Angel, do we need to be so seething, my dear? Need we be at each others throats at all times as Angels and Demons? I am here to see your leader, for I have information regarding the Empire. Not only that, but I can sneak in unnoticed to gather more. Getting out my intentions before you throw the incessant questions at me." He explained, keeping his hands raised to assure her he meant no harm.

-Jadis-

A wide smile spread across the young elf's face.  Fiora seemed genuine and kind in nature.  He was certain that they'd manage to be good friends.  "That's a really noble cause, you know.  Healing people the way in which you are.  Maybe if you don't have a home you could stay in Rhasolvich.  It's quiet, calm, and very pretty, and we have a lot of room for newcomers.  The empire's never messed with us there."  When little, in fact, did Jadis realize that Rhasolvich was just about to be massacred as they spoke.

The cold bore heavily into the two elves as they trudged through the deep snow, the gusty winds of the night sweeping their cloaks and hair.  It seemed that they'd been walking for hours before they stumbled upon a small, quiet city of Woodarc.  It was nearly the same size as Rhasolvich, though it was dominated predominately of non-magi humans, ones which were, sadly, thinking of aligning themselves with the empire.  Jadis nodded in the direction of the city.  "How about we stay there for the night?  It should be safe, and it shouldn't be too far to Rhasolvich in the morning."

(Shulk, do you want to skip to their arrival in Rhasolvich fairly soon?  Feel free to do so, or let me know and I can jump in my next post)

-Yevgeni-

Just as Yev nodded and was about to rise from his seat, Vortludo--the opposition of their number--decided to be a gentleman and humor the attractive dark-haired woman.  Yev's eyes followed Vortludo coolly as he left the table to help her carry the drinks.  "That guy was able to get drunk off of one mug.  It's as plain as day that she's up to something."

Back in a flash, the two returned to the table.  The dark-haired beauty flashed smiles at them all, particularly Vortludo now that he'd complimented her and shown her interest.  Once she tried to smile at Yev, who merely narrowed his eyes and gave her a cool stare.  She never bothered to look at him again.

Just as suddenly as Yev glanced up he noticed another dark-haired woman appear behind Vortludo.  He was about to groan, thinking they'd never leave now, when she'd up and punched him in the face, sending the ladies' man flying through the tavern wall.  If his actions hadn't been so stupid, Yev might've actually felt sorry for him.  Immediately the blond rose, withdrawing his rapier from his hilt.  Embers danced around the demon who faced them, threatening and dangerous.  "What do you want with us?  Lux?  I don't even know who the hell those people are, let alone what they're after.  You have the wrong table, woman."  He glanced over at Slade, who suggested either himself or Mikhail go after Vort, causing him to shake his head.  "I'm not going after the idiot who got us into this situation.  It's people like him who are a weakness."

-Ariana-

The eptiome of chaos herself was stunned at Peashy's actions.  First she'd sent Chrysalis on her first task in Rhasolvich, only to have Peashy swoop in from no where, kill Chrysalis's victims, and then proceed to attack them.  Needless to say that Ari was mad.  Very mad.

Upon Chrysalis's shriek and embrace, Ari gave her a slight comforting squeeze before forcefully shoving her away and marching right up to the goddess, fear being the last emotion that she felt.  "HEY!" she shouted, walking up to the child and, without pause, proceeded to raise a hand to smack Peashy across the face.  "What in blazes did you think you were doing?!  You just tried to kill us?!  That, my child, is horrendously unacceptable, and you bet your life that I'm going to ensure you suffer from your actions."  She drew in a deep breath, standing rigid and tall.  At that moment Ari looked terrifying, her back to Chrysalis.  "And those people you killed . . . .  I didn't want them dead!  I only wanted one of them dead, and that was for my pupil to kill, you hear me?!"

At this, Ari proceeded to grab the front of Peashy's clothes, her gaze cold upon the goddess.  "And I never, ever, want to see you making the mistake of nearly attacking me or Chrysalis ever again.  Have I made myself clear?  If you weren't so important to His Excellency I would kill you right now for your insolence."  Finally Ari turned, returning to Chrysalis and draping an arm over the girl's shoulders, her nails digging painfully into her.  "Come, then, both of you.  We're going to 'play' in the snow, as Peashy called it.  Let not a single mage dwell in this village alive."

-Henry Hansees-

"Oh don't tell me you haven't tried to kill your fellow co-workers before..." Henry commented as he watched the whole scene, walking right beside Chrysalis, "Hey Chrys" He muttered to her, as he had spoken with this girl in the past,so he knew her a bit, as he examined Ariana and Peashy, "Christ look at the rogue's gallery here: Ariana! the Crazy bitch!, Chrysalis, the pet of the crazy bitch! and..." He then looked at Peashy in her goddess form and soon frowned, but laughed a bit at how she looked.

"Dunno who the heck this is, but seems like she just came out of a video game...and a really weird one at that." he said with a jokingly smile, "Well following that pod turned out to be quite the idea didn't it? surprised you like the cold"  he said with a snarky wink,"Im not going to let you kill these people" He said as he unsheated his Dread breaker sword, as power began to generate around him, taking a few steps back from Chrysalis as he faced them, he was outnumbered, but this didn't mean he was outmatched.

-Mikhail Crad-

Of course, the moment they were going to leave Vortludo disagreed, and got drunk, and got thrown into a wall, Mikhail didn't even flinch as the man was thrown right beside him, taking a sip of his drink as the others got up, and he did so too with a frown, "Of course...lets stay behind...firetrucking genius idea." Mikhail criticized Vortludo as he normaly does to everyone.

"Im sure he'l be fine, lets tend to this demon first, but before we do that...outside!, doubt the empire wants civilian casualties, even more at least on their hands." he spoke out loud to the demoness (Teka)

Spotting her amongst the crowd, he tapped Yev and Slade's shoulders and pointed at her direction, staying silent as he motioned them to come outside with him, as he began to head outside he cast a quen sign, which cast a shield around him, negating the next blow he'd take, this shield impossible to be sensed by demon or angel alike, and invisible to them as well, so they'd have no idea that he had a shield on. 'A demon...silver will penetrate her demonic armor and cut her just fine...not only that, but he wound won't heal like a normal demon's if cut by silver' he commented as he stood outside the tavern, waiting to Teka to come out.

He quickly grabbed a potion from his satchel, this one, called Swallow, would increase his regeneration capabilities above its normal levels, which were already pretty high for a witcher, he drank the potion, horrible taste, and highly toxic too, one of the best witchers potions out there, highly useful on hunts.

-Gabriel Stross-

Gabriel took no time throwing a holodisk onto the ground, which soon projected what happened in the meeting, from Gabriel's point of view, the Doctor would then see Eclaire bursting in and killing people, threatening Korben and leaving, but also seeing his afterward's camera surveilance of the Hanger attack, which was already repaired by the robots by now.

As for the serum, Gabriel nodded as his Ai spoke up "Aknowledged." It said, as he pressed a few buttons and the suits retracted into the ground, the lab coming back to its normal appearance, "Any new projects?" the Ai asked the monstrumologist.

~Vortludo & Tekanolojia~

"I know what you're going to say," A heaving voice said as he approached the others. "You told me so. And I am very willing to accept that blame." Vortludo apologized. He cracked his back and took a deep breath. "She punches like the fist of God himself." He commented. He was suddenly enveloped in a fireball.

"You actually survived that? Impressive, if not regrettable." Teka said, referring to the Noble's miraculous recovery ability as she made her way to them. As the flames died down, Vortludo lowered his cloak and smiled at the Demoness.

"I do believe you'll find that I'm nearly as invulnerable as the Nemean Lion!" He declared proudly. Teka rolled her eyes, but of course no one could see that under her mask. She summoned several more fireballs around her and pitched them towards the other members of the group.

"Didn't one of you comment about not being a member of the Order? Oh well, no one will miss you anyway." She said as she pulled out her lightsaber, and flicked it on, the blade of light coming to life.

~Ryonne~

Ryonne glanced down to the coat. And the swords. He really wanted to try and pick up Monster's stuff. It was tempting...

"Uh, Ryonne." Some voice said from behind him. The Swordsman turned around and looked to the owner of the voice.

"Yes?" He asked.

"I was sent to bring you to Eclaire." The messenger completed his duty. Ryonne nodded as he glanced back to the coat on the ground.

"Alright, lead me." He said with a nod. The messenger quickly did an about face and headed towards the War Room with Ryonne in tow.

When he entered the conference room, the door squeaked loudly. Ryonne cringed. So much for not disturbing the important discussions. But now that he had been announced.

"Eclaire. Mission was a success. Do you want a report?" He asked as he made his way to a seat at the table.

~Viridem~

Viridem finally found Arkham glancing behind an open door. "Uh, Arkham. You do realize that was a joke right? Some people..." The longer she stayed in this organization the more it seemed like everyone in it was a complete loon. "Anyway, I came to check on those supplies Ryonne and I stole from the outpost. There should have been a whole bunch of weapons and tanzynite in some crates. After all, I'd hate all our hard work destroying a tank to go to waste." She commented. The Wind glanced into the main lab, analyzing the various prototypes that were all over the place. With Arkham, new research and development was nearly equal to the rate that the Empire's was. She heard rumors that Arkham once had a partner who still worked with the Empire and that was how the two competing sides came so close when it came to the technological race.

~The Doctor~

The Doctor bit his lip and rubbed his chin in thought after the holodisk finished its message. "So the Order of Lux has begun to act. I suppose that means that we should expedite our own work." The Doctor commented. He looked down to his datapad. "As for new projects... Well, there is a few things, not too many. The TN-1 is still in progress as always, Storm Lord and Hell Lord are two compound Tanzynites that are almost complete. I also found the old notes of one of the other scientists that used to work on Tanzynite development, but he went insane. Fortunately, his notes are helpful. Assuming I can make sense of them, I may have found a way for one to achieve all the Tanzynite effects but with only one Tanzynite shot if that makes any sense. Monster's Blood is a new one of those DNA compounds. Using some of the deceased beasts that I have worked on I can create certain monster-human hybrids. Unfortunately, it would have incredible mental consequences. Aside from that, I don't have anything... Oh yes, I do have something. It incredibly increases human capabilities like strength, speed, and durability, but eliminates all mental function. This could be useful if I could figure a way out of the side effect but it seems nearly impossible. But maybe... If you could get a computer to begin operating instead of the brain, then it would work. But that's neither here nor there, we would never get any volunteers for a treatment like that." The Doctor stated, going over his own personal agenda. "And of course, I use every once of time I can to studying my actual field, but I'd bore you with talk of that." Doctor Verstand suddenly looked up from his datapad, and shut the device off. "Oh, but I must be going now. I just realized that I forgot to eat breakfast. Farewell and godspeed Gabriel Stross!" The Monstrumologist rapidly departed. "Von Helrung! Kearns! Time to go!" Gabe could've heard the Doctor call to his pets just before the glass door closed and Verstand vanished down the hallway.

Peashy stopped jumping when she saw how angry Ariana looked "Uh oh" thought Peashy for a moment before Peashy got a smack across her cheek by Ariana's big hand. Peashy couldn't feel much physical pain in her goddess form but Ariana's cold hearted yelling defiantly hurt her feelings & then Peashy started up the water works, Peashy's eyes filled up with tears before she fell on her butt on the snowy ground bursting out in tears crying out loud for all to hear around them. "AHHHHHAHHHH!!! BUT I DIDN'T KILL YOU!! I'M SORRY! I'M SORRY! I'M SORRY! AHHHHAHHH!!!" cried Peashy repeating herself as tears burst everywhere. Then Ariana grabbed her asking has she made herself clear, Peashy tried to stop herself from crying to answer her "Y-yes" sobbed Peashy before Ariana walked over picking up Chrysalis.

After Ariana said that they would play Peashy instantly stopped crying & was happy again jumping up & down with joy again until some stranger (Henry) appeared near Chrysalis. As Henry laughed at how Peashy looked Peashy put a single finger just under her bottom lip confused "Did I do something funny mister?..." said Peashy confused, then Peashy heard Henry mention video game "Uh! you have video games! that's totally not fair! I want video games!!" screamed Peashy as she wave her arms in the air. Then as Henry prepared for battle Peashy's DBZ scouter quickly started to scan Henry & through the DBZ scouter it showed unknown above Henry's head & colored him in the color red. "Oh! your red, & red is bad & bad people need to be killed" said Peashy as she got ready to fight Henry. Peashy started to run towards Henry at a very fast speed but then Peashy transformed back into her human form still running towards Henry but at a normal kids speed until Peashy was near Henry "Take this & that mister!" yelled Peashy as she continually punched Henry's right leg over & over obviously not hurting him in the least.

Peashy then realized that she was back to normal "On no! my goddess form gone" said Peashy not knowing that she had spent to much time in her goddess form what with flying around scanning areas & other places before coming here. Peashy quickly then started running away from Henry & Ariana crying out loud as she did heading off out of site somewhere within this small village of Rhasolvich.

-Ariana-

The dark-haired general whipped around to find Henry approach.  She glared at him coolly.  "Watch your tongue, filth," she spat icily. "Else you may find that you don't possess it much longer."  She considered his hostility momentarily before continuing, "This town has been observed to be under criminal activity.  It is under the Imperial authorities that they town be annihilated, and I am a first-commanding officer.  You have no right to interfere with my plans, idiot, so I would suggest that you stand down now, unless, of course, you prefer to join them in death."  Ari narrowed her eyes and stood taller, her arm never leaving Chrysalis's shoulder.  She didn't know who Henry was supposed to be, exactly, but it seemed that he had an acquaintance with Chrysalis.  With her free hand she gently turned Chrysalis's face to hers, scanning her eyes intently.  "Tell me, and clearly: do you know this man?"

For a moment Ari was so distracted by the newcomer that she'd nearly forgotten about her incident with the goddess.  The powerful, yet extremely foolish child in her eyes.  She was pleased to hear the regret--and perhaps fear--in the child's tone, as all people should fear her.  It empowered and pleased Ari to no end when she would see people weaken to her powerful form, her threatening demeanor, and, most especially, when they would cower and apologize to her.  Seldom did she ever show mercy, but it was those victims she savored most.  It surprised her, however, when Peashy ran right up to Henry and began punching his leg, harmlessly as a child would.  For a moment she could only stop, stare, and to her own surprise she began laughing.  Her voice was shrill and cold, piercing the eardrums and inducing shudders.  "That is what the emperor is praising so highly?  How pathetic.  I thought we had something with more, ah, potential in our hands.  I knew you were a mistake."  Before the goddess responded, however, she fled the village, making Ari merely laugh harder.

-Yevgeni-

(Oh boy, here we go.  It's been ages since I've fought in an RP, so forgive my ignorance in this area.)

The blond's heart pounded harder and Teka's words, both in fury and in fear.  He considered his three companions, all preparing to battle this demon, yet Yev was skeptical.  He'd heard of Tekanorojia, the demon of the Korbenic Empire.  Her powers matched few, surpassing many.  It would be a miracle if they could take her down, and almost equally as great of one to get away from her without imprisonment or death.

Immediately Yev withdrew his thin rapier from his side, its blade flickering gold before returning to its metallic silver state.  "You would take the lives of innocents so casually?  I am appalled.  It's no wonder why everyone hates you, yet the imperial scum think everyone should bow at your feet."  While he was on a roll he was going to continue, allowing every venomous word escape his lips.  "Everyone despises the empire because you people are heartless and worthless.  If you killed me now you would only be proving my point.  Tell me, witch: do you even care what people think of you?  What you're representing the great and mighty empire to portray?  Your emblem should be of the sword, and your slogan should revolve around death.  That's all you people do, and I won't hail to it."  He got into a battle stance, his blade outstretched horizontally in front of him, feet spread apart.  "So come at me, witch, if everything that I said about you is true."  Of course he knew she wasn't a witch, but he thoughts the words would provoke her.

-Slade Joseph Wilson-

Slade suddenly felt a realization dawning upon him as he was pointed to the demon, her name drifted into his mind and he put away his sword. "You're Tekanorojia. Heh, the Emperor's little....well, sadly I have to say "Whore", I'm afraid, but you no doubt wear that title proudly. And perhaps his deadliest assassin since I was forced to leave." He mused, then took out his Ballistic Staff and extended it to the full length of a Bo Staff and held it diagonally-upwards to his side. "Your methods and tactics are impressive, but inferior. They will not save you this day, demon." He told her, the fireball she launched impacted upon his armour, but was hardly felt, to the point where he dusted off his chest piece as if a fly landed on it. Her blade would not cut the staff in half, but he had to be wary, his surroundings consisting of mainly the Tavern, but his back near a now non-existent wall due to Vortludo flying through it, so he could make use of the extra space the outside would give while others in the Tavern ran away in the chaos.

-Nolan "Arkham" Vigil-

"Oh....well, I'm not exactly the best with jokes, Viridem." Nolan admitted, then looked at his Datapad again. "Initial scans of the crates your team brought back show that the contents are intact and indeed present. Nice work with the War-Mech, my ones are better anyway. *Sharp inhale* So! Your work was not for naught it seems." He explained, still tapping buttons, then setting the Datapad aside and pushed a button on his desk, which was littered with papers, blueprints and Optical Drives, which then had a small section of the floor open up and a vertical container rose from it, opening as he walked up to it and pulled out a small device. "Remote Hacking Device. Just finished the testing and finalisation, this is the first working prototype. This sort of thing would come in handy for disrupting communications, smaller mechs and Turrets, as well as computers and the like. I'll begin mass-production shortly, just thought you should know next time you go on a mission like that." Nolan explained somewhat proudly but also modestly, as if he couldn't decide what to feel before putting the RHD on his Utility Belt with his other gadgets. "I need to make a good vehicle sometime....*Ahem* So! Anything else you want, dear Viridem? Gadgets? Chatter? Requests? Anything you need." He offered, leaning back on his desk, remaining calm and cool even as he got technical.

-Azrael/Masked Man-

(Being ignored by the Archangel. xD)

-Viridem and Arkham's Location-

A messenger rushed in.

"Miss Viridem! Eclaire needs you in the war room!"

-Eclaire-

She turns to Ryonne. "Find a seat. Once Viridem is here I will begin this meeting. And find your footing, I'm not pulling punches with this one. My flashy executions in Imperial Territory were only harbingers. I was showing there's hope for the people, and with Victoria here, on our side...with Kusanagi under out control, and with Tiriel and her Goddess...Ryonne we might have a real chance."

-Chrysalis-

She whimpered and pressed closer.

"Ari-mistress Ariana...I...I can't fight Henry...h..his armor...i..i...it can hold against me at full strength...I...I can't fight him Mistress Ariana I'm so sorry!"

-Tiriel-

The archangel did not waver.

"Why should I trust you?" She demanded.

(For the battle at the tavern)

-Mikhail Crad-

"Pretty sure i'l be missed much more than you demon woman." Mikhail commented at Teka's previous statement, as he frowned upon seeing her with a lightsaber of all things, 'My Quen shield can protect against that, my sword however, cannot...' he thought for a second as he simply slapped one of the fireballs with the back of his hand, controling fire with his igni sign he managed to negate the fireball completely as he unsheated his silver sword, visible runes embedded into the sword, holding it with both his hands holding it in front of him, he glanced at Yev, who went on about the empire, "I don't think she cares." he simply commented as he undid his hood and cloak, revealing his armor, and his white hair, which was quite long.

"Im to old for this..." he muttered under his breath, as he had the quen shield ready for Teka's next attack.

-Henry Hansees-

Henry was genuinely baffled about what had just happened, the funky looking girl with giant claws turned into a small little girl, who simply started smacking his leg before running away, he simply had a face that pretty much say 'What the hell just happened.' he scratched the back of his head and looked at Arianna "Well...that just happened, now tell me since when does the empire deploys children in missions now?" he criticized, "And let me guess, the other small villages burned to the ground, civilians being taken away for experiments, 'they' were criminals too? give me a break." he said with a mocking tone crossing his arms as he did.

"Aaaand yeah, you see, me and Chrys have some history...either way if you want to take this village out..." as he said that he stomped onto the ground, as large dark empowered rocks popped out of the ground behind Arianna and Chrysalis, making a large wall between the village's houses and them, blocking their passage into the village, "Come at me first." He taunted.

-Gabriel Stross-

He paid attention to The Doctor's project reports, seeing as things were going relatively smoothly on the man's end, Gabriel nodded as the Doctor set out to leave, he was tempted to offer his own computer to do the tests, but the doctor mentioned that getting subjects for the tests would be impossible at this rate, which soon made him frown under his helmet, seeing the Doctor going away and calling his pets, Gabriel quickly turned around and went to tinker with his terminal, which showed that the Spider warmech has been destroyed.

"Initializing reconstruction" Two pillars propped out of hte ground in the middle of the lab, which bright lights at the end of each, as they soon began to emit a hologram-like light that began to transport the Warmech's carcass to there, he downloaded the data and the recording before its sudden death, and analyzed it, seeing two people, possibly from the order fighting it, and eventually defeating it with...water, he sighed as he knew he should have went with the insulated anti-water design...

The warmech was soon fully reconstructed, although still broken, as Gabriel sighed as he began to work on its repairs, pherhaps this thing would be better off resulting civilian riots instead of being sent against the order...

"I appreciate the offer, but I'm really busy these days. I can always visit Rhasolvich often, though." She grinned. Then, as Jadis began to lead the way, Fiora followed the elf to Woodarc. She wasn't exactly used to traveling with company, though she found that she actually enjoyed having companions. Of course, she knew that she probably wouldn't be traveling with these two for too long. They didn't seem to be members of the rebellion like she was. Regardless, she had fun traveling with the two children.

When Jadis brought her to Woodarc, she gazed around the town. It didn't look terribly different from many of the other small towns she'd been to, which she didn't mind. She enjoyed visiting these smaller towns, as she always worried about getting lost in large cities. After the elf asked his question, Fiora nodded. "Yes, this seems like a good place to stay until morning." She said, approving of Jadis' plan.

(I'd be fine with skipping ahead.)

-Ariana-

(Music . . .

)

The dark woman's expressions went from sympathetic to outraged by Chrysalis's words.  She growled, grasping Chrysalis firmly by the shoulders and shoving her, hard, into the snow.  "Fine, but don't whine!" she hissed.  "You need to exhibit strength, not cowardice, in front of your enemy.  Remember that, child."  She turned to face Henry, her eyes narrowing as her mulberry lips curved into a smile.  "However, you needn't join as I take down this imbecile.  Behold!"  Ariana threw her head back, her brows knitted, as though in pain.  Dark mist slowly started to form around her outstretched hands, and the veins under her skin--once barely visible--became more noticeable and pulsed with a purple fluid.  When she opened her eyes she was hardly recognizable, her eyes glowing a terrifying yellow.

"Do not say that I didn't warn you, fool."

With that, Ari withdrew her twin katanas from her waist, holding one in each hand.  Their blades were long, thin, and sharp, perfect for skewering a foe.  For a moment she was perfectly still, before jumping in the air, rotating, coming to a halt in front of him and bringing both of her blades down parallel to meet Henry's face vertically.  Ariana was clad in black iron armor, guarding the majority of her upper body, though the flesh of her upper arms and neck were exposed.  Her lower body was in fine, thin black fabric that was mostly transparent.  While unguarded from attacks, it allowed her speed and agility.

(Will post for Jadis later; question for Shulk in the sign-ups thread.  I'm going to hold off on Yev until Yuffie posts.)

-Henry Hansees-

Henry simply smirked as Ariana soon lunged at him, he was impressed by the gimnastics though, those were nice, he held his arm up,he simply moved his left hand in the way of her swords, grabbing them both of with it as she slashed down on him "Nice swords, reinforced steel? how cute." he commented, as he threw his hand up, possibly throwing her back as he quickly dashed forward with a strong slash of his sword.

Henry knew Chrysalis would interfere if he went all out on Ariana, and he wanted to save the civilians here, so his only choice would be to be enough of a nuisance to make them retreat.

-Tiriel-The archangel did not waver."Why should I trust you?" She demanded.

-Azrael/Masked Man-

The Masked Man chuckled slightly, still keeping his arms raised.

"You are aware of what most Demons do upon entering the Mortal World, correct? Terrorize, pillage, kill, cause chaos, destroy...and that is just the Males. The Females whore themselves out to men and women, often killing them or corrupting them, as well as the aforementioned events along with being very sexual, almost as bad as a Succubus, or even worse. Of course, not accounting for the Demons who wish to be nicer or even redeem themselves in the eyes of Angels and Gods and Goddesses, they often assist in Angels efforts and other such niceties. I heard a story of a Female Demon and Female Elf who met, the former initially tried to corrupt her but soon felt actual infatuation and even love for her....things escalated and I heard they still live together in the mountains...hmm." He explained, continuing to keep a calm demeanour.

"What have I done? Offered my services as an informant and even combatant, if you wish." The Masked Man added, stepping a little closer, still keeping his arms up. "Is that a problem, holy one?" He posed, his eyes visible due to the glow of the weapon before him, showing them to be human-like eyes but with red irises and very slightly reptilian pupils.

"I appreciate the offer, but I'm really busy these days. I can always visit Rhasolvich often, though." She grinned. Then, as Jadis began to lead the way, Fiora followed the elf to Woodarc. "Yes, this seems like a good place to stay until morning." She said, approving of Jadis' plan.

(I'd be fine with skipping ahead.)

(Will post for Jadis later; question for Shulk in the sign-ups thread.  I'm going to hold off on Yev until Yuffie posts.)

(Better hurry & get there before Peashy does something to Krea & Jadis's sick stepmother)

Peashy had gotten herself a little lost within the small village of Rhasolvich, after having run away from Henry & Ariana Peashy was simply hiding & sobbing within an alleyway area "I'm NOT pathetic...I'm not..." said Peashy sobbing some more hearing what Ariana said about her as she was quietly sitting with her knees near her chest with her arms covering her face hiding her tears. Peashy then pulled out one of those special food balls that those korbenic guards threw at her before she come here "I wonder what they taste like?" said Peashy. But as she was about to eat one her DBZ scouter started to scan the area "Uh! there's someone else here using magic, I better find those red bad people" said Peashy as she then come out from her hiding spot following her scouters directions soon coming to a house.

Peashy was a little scared to who it was using magic within this house but she wanted to be brave & didn't want to be pathetic like Ariana said. So with that in mind Peashy opened the front door to the house peaking an eye in first to see if anyone noticed her opening the door, but it was all clear "The magic's coming from a room in here somewhere." said Peashy quietly while she sneaked about the house soon coming to a bedroom door half opened "Uh..." said Peashy as she peaked into the bedroom seeing 2 elf people using healing magic trying to heal a very very sick woman in the bed. Peashy's DBZ scouter scanned the 2 elf & the sick woman in bed which all 3 of them were colored red through her scouter "Oh no, their enemies too. I better transform now, mmm...? uhh. I still can't go goddess yet" said peashy feeling weak & pathetic again. instead Peashy just waited until her goddess powers returned to her & watched to see how evil they really are not realizing she's not really hidden well behind the bedroom door.

(A quick post so that Mystic can post one last time before his departure)~Tekanorojia & Vortludo~Teka smiled maliciously at Slade, "Isn't it a wonder how even an Imperial whore can crush rebel dogs beneath her heel? I'll give you four one last chance to come to my side. And it's gone." She rushed forward with the incredible speed bestowed to her by her suit, slashing in a wide arc towards Yevgeni as she simultaneously pulled out her sidearm and unloaded a burst of flaming bullets aimed towards the Witcher and Slade. That irritating "ladies man" had vanished from sight. Perhaps logic had returned to him and he had run. That thought vanished as she fell forward and the Noble stood over her, holding his dagger."The light of the world itself hides me from your malevolent gaze." He commented, before vanishing again. Invisibility. Stupid man. She switched to Banshee, and after hearing his slight footsteps using the advanced hearing, sent a huge and concentrated sonic blast right at him. He yelped and fell to he ground, clutching his ears, his visibility returning. Teka looked back to her other opponents, and sent out a wider blast of sound designed to blow them back or to the ground.

~Ryonne~

"I hope it is nothing too drastic." Ryonne commented, taking a seat as was asked of him to do. "Just because we stole some of their stuff doesn't change the fact that they are the most powerful state this world has ever seen. We should not act rashly, elsewise we will almost certainly be crushed by their huge military might." The Swordsman stated. He had placed his weapon on the table, always within reach. It being too far from him always made him feel just a little bit helpless. It was kind of like a safety blanket. Not that he would ever tell anyone his feelings towards the blade, even Viridem.

~Viridem~

The girl waved away the messenger. "Miss bigshot commander can wait a second, I'll be right there." She said curtly, very much not worried. She looked Arkham in the eyes, or well, what passed for eyes on that weird mask thing. "What do you have? I could always use a new trick or two, especially considering that I just had to take down a tank. And that wasn't even the strongest thing those imperials have." She said, clearly still slightly upset about the fact that she had been forced to take down a tank with little more than some wind and water.

~Cyler~

This world was going to go to hell. He could tell. But he wouldn't. Not him. Not at this rate. He spied those incredibly powerful people down there on the street, outside the tavern. That ripe, juicy power. He wanted it so bad. But no. Not yet. That wouldn't end well. No, he needed to strike when the time was just right. Until then, he would stay right there, his visibility obscured by a little bit of illusion magic.

~Neena~

"Die scum!" A cry was heard from out of nowhere right nearby Ariana, Henry, and Chrysalis. Suddenly, Henry fell victim to a huge flaming dark fireball that flew right at him. Neena quickly appeared out of some nearby shadows, clutching her ninjato. These stupid tanzynite users were endangering this town. So she would destroy them both, and assure that the citizens were safe. She had to. She would not let this village fall like hers had.

-Henry Hansees-

"What" Henry stopped mid charge as a large fireball came right at him, "What th-" before he could finish his sentence the fireball hit, luckily he managed to block some of it as he was knocked back by the blast of it, although a large cloud of smoke was released from the explosion, but soon dispersed showing Henry, still having some smoke come out of him from the heat of it, but mostly he was fine, some rocks could be seen around him, some falling from him as they were used to defend against it, he simply looked at the new combatant. "Now who are you?" he asked but shook his head, "Nevermind, you hit the wrong guy, im trying to stop this woman from burning this village to the ground." he explained, even though he didn't know her motives, he at least hoped she was there for the civilians, that and she called him scum, which was rude.

-Mikhail Crad-

Thankfully, his sword was more than enough to deflect the flaming bullets, deflecting a few but one managed to hit him, which exploded his quen shield, as he was unharmed from it, he was impressed at Vortludo's attack, but soon frowned and facepalmed as he was yet again sent flying as the demon woman changed armors, and threw a sonic blast at him, which he replied with his own telekinetic blast with the Aard sign, which nullified her sonic wave, at least which came at him as he readied his sword, an opponent like this, their only chance would be to act very defensive.

-Ariana-

It certainly caught Ari by surprise to watch Henry grasp her twin blades and thrust them back at her.  She stumbled backward, losing her balance momentarily before steadying herself.  Henry then lunged toward her, though she managed to quickly thrust her blades out in front of her to shield herself, her katanas locked in a cross.  Before his sword could meet hers, however, a fireball came out of no where from a newcomer.  One that, possibly, would attempt to annihilate all of them.  Immediately Ari's eyes shot to Chrysalis, ensuring the girl was safe before turning to face Neena.  "I thought that your mommy would've taught you better than to intrude upon a fair fight," she said.  "Now, I shall leave you two to play.  I have better things to do than waste my time on inferior beings such as yourselves."  She jerked her head, beckoning Chrysalis to come before turning back to Henry and Neena. "We leave now.  Dare to follow and you will wish you hadn't been born."

-Yevgeni-

The blond could barely fling out his rapier to block her wide blow in time.  He watched the scene unfold, eyes following Teka's sleek form in hopes of finding an advantageous point to make his move.  It never came, however, though was grateful when Vortludo made himself useful at last with his invisibility act.  It didn't last long and Tekanorojia once more had the upper hand, sending a blow of sound so strong that it forcefully through Yev off his feet and flying onto a table flat on his back.  He managed to knock over a drink, though it was long abandoned by those who had once sat there.  He wasted no time in scrambling to his feet before Teka could throw another blow his way.  He placed two fingers along the blade of his rapier, closing his eyes and uttering something under his breath.  The sword glinted gold momentarily before returning to its original state, yet a glow lingered around the blade.  Yev thrust all of his weight behind it, rushing straight toward the demon relentlessly.  As he extended the sword, hoping it would slash at the woman, a sharp, thin beam of holy light emitted from the blade, its beam so bright and hot that it could singe the very flesh of anything it touched.  He was careful to ensure that his friends were at least a far enough distance away to avoid this, or so he hoped.

-Jadis-

Their journey had been a long and weary one.  The stay at the inn had been nice and warm, though Jadis refused to allow Fiora to pay.  "You're doing us the biggest favor in the world for saving Mara's life," he'd told her.  "It's the very least that we can do, Miss Fiora."

They spent very little time in the inn, however, and ate a very hasty breakfast before departure.  Mara, the elves' caretaker, had been ill for some time, and they didn't want to risk being, well, too late.  They continued to trek on through the snow relentlessly, until they finally came to the village of Rhasolvich.

It was a small town: quaint, quiet, cold, and adorable.  It seemed like one of those places where one would just find peace and solace to enjoy their everyday lives.  Or, at least when it wasn't filled with imperials, a witch, a large man with a sword, and two dead, bloody bodies in the snow.  Krea couldn't help but grab her head and let out a scream.  The other elf's brows furrowed, seriousness creeping in his tone as he eyed the murdered couple.  "T--this can't be," he barely uttered, his temple twitching.  "Rhasolvich has always b--been safe.  We've never been attacked before."  It was then that Ariana's gaze flickered over to them, her violet eyes flashing dangerously.

-Eclaire-

She folded her hands.

"Numbers do not win a war. They only help." She responded curtly. "And I am aiming to rectify that problem with my current plans, at least with the tech side. We have enough to crew ships, and if we can gain a foothold Tiriel can bring forth a few more Angels to help. We just need to bring hope, and make a stand." She looked at the map sprawled across the table. "And it is drastic, Ryonne. I'm sure you'll do fine."

-Chrysalis-

The girl scrambled up and hurried over to Ari, grasping her hand fearfully. She hid against her, clearly terrified of the combatants all around.

-Tiriel-

Scowling, she did not waver as before.

"Speak, and I may let you leave, demon."
