This is especially prevalent in the "Kingdom Hearts III" section. I understand that some users may be new and others may have been unaware of a topic being made, however, I've been seeing more repeated topics like "what Final Fantasy character do you want in KH3" or a post about "Treasure Planet needs to be in Kingdom Hearts 3" or "What do you think should happen in Kingdom Hearts 3".

I just think that re-reading the same ground is boring and devalues a topic as quite a lot of people would have to paraphrase their opinions again. I'm not trying to start an argument or flame-war here, it's just an unfortunate fact that I've been seeing more and more commonly.

If you ever see a repeated forum topic the best thing to do is to use the report button to report that topic and let us know there's already an existing topic about the subject, that way we can deal with the repeat topic.

And this isn't required, but for anyone thinking to make new topics I *highly* *highly* *highly* recommend using the site's search feature to make sure there isn't already a recent pre-existing topic regarding the subject.

Oh, I didn't know about that. Yeah, that feature may come in handy in the future.

Because there's f***-all to discuss with so little news.

Not really, Kingdom Hearts is a very expansive Universe with plenty of lore. The only problem is that quite a lot of people don't bother seeing as to whether their topic as already been stated and just say the same thing as the last person.

Most people don't use the search feature. Plus, most of us don't wanna resurrect old topics.

If the topic is a few months old I can understand why you wouldn't want to resurrect it, and that's fine. But if it's more recent it's better to discuss in the original topic rather than making a new one, otherwise we'll have to most likely lock or merge it with the already existing recent topic. That's why the search feature comes in handy, if you don't want your topics to get modded. This is a rule anyways too, which is why I stress reporting repeat topics if you see there's another recent thread regarding the same thing. :)

Well, it's about time that people start using it. I'm sorry, but, wouldn't you be fed up if somebody the same thing just phrased differently. Resurrecting old topics is better than seeing the same topic again and again.

I've literally been ranting to myself about this for days now. I don't get it either, it irritates me too :(

Wakeless to the rescue once again! xD

Anyways, I know whatchya mean, Alpha. It is quite a confusing matter of things. It's kind of like those moments where you mention something twice. But if you feel like you have already seen a topic before that talks about the same thing as a newer one, do what Wakeless said and Report it. It will be reported anonymously, meaning nobody will know it was you. (Unless you make it too obvious. :) )

Yep. It can be irritating, but hey, it's okay. That's what the report button is for. I certainly agree with you though, it is very irritating. Especially when there is the same topic on the first page. It is like, DID YOU NOT EVEN LOOK!?

Hype and enthusiasm for KH!

I all ways follow kingdom hearts 3 to see what topics were posted so I dont post the same thing. but the rules say no posting 2 of the same topic so see that happen like so one said you should report it or inform them. :)

There's a difference between hype and ignorance. Chances are, if your hypothetical topic has already been posted by someone else, just comment on theirs as opposed to making a carbon copy.

Glad to know that I am not the only one that has this thought...
