Free stuff is always great.

I am terrible at drawing or anything art-related (except maybe creative writing), so my entering really depends on that. Prizes I don't really care about.

Well you all have only ever done contests for art related things like artwork, fan-art, and things of that nature, and I am not an artist, so if you would ever make a video contest a thing here, then it depends on how that goes to see if I want a real prize or not.

Yeah I brought this issue up, since I feel we do too many fan-art contests. Hopefully this changes next time whenever we have a contest.

I don't care much about the contests, so it's all the same to me.

Well good that you saw that as well. And I get that fan arts are the easiest type of contest, and I have nothing against them, but not everyone is cut out to be an artist but they may have other talents that should be realized. So it's not like I have a problem with fan art contests, but that should never be the only contest a person/company does.

I like free stuff, or even little things like the custom color.

I don't pariticipate in contests since they're like all art contests. Although I like to draw and I'm 'decent' at drawing I don't like contest involving drawing.

Honestly, I don't care if I win a prize or not!  Just the fact that I'm participating in a contest on this site is enough to make me happy, because it makes me feel like I'm being active in the community with my creativity, ya know?

I'd be happy just to participate. I mean, prizes are neat and all, but I'd like to just participate for the greatness of others to see my skills and me getting to see theirs.

 

(Though that custom colored name prize sounds pretty cool. It's not materialistic, so I'd be fine with one of those. )

Depends on the contest! Although I'm an artist, I sometimes feel a little bad for the people who don't like drawing, or are uncomfortable with it. I think there should be more competitions that are easier for everyone ​.  ​

I mean, if it was some sort of feedback thing in general, sure, but if it's another art or writing contest or whatever, I wouldn't enter those anyway.

It depends on the contest because i would only participate IF it is creative writing because this is the only thing possible for me

Yes, we've been talking about this.  This last one was a fan art contest because it was coming up really fast and we didn't have time to come up with anything else.  We are looking to do some exciting things though.
