We know that one of the Guardians of Light will have to rescue Ventus from the Castle. Castle Oblivion, that is.

Doesn't have to be Aqua, but anyone. So it is pretty much confirmed that CO will be a world,

Either way, I was watching the Re:Coded movie and I really enjoyed the castle oblivion segment.

Which made we wonder that if Castle Oblivion will have the same music from the previous games? (KH:COM, KH:Re:Coded, KH:ReCom etc)

The Castle Oblivion theme is one of my favourite tracks from the Kingdom Hearts franchise, mainly because of the mysterious conditions of the song and the oblivious feel to it. I would love if they kept this track the same as the field track from Castle Oblivion.

What do you guys think?

Atleast Sora, Riku and Aqua have to be there. 

 

Aqua so she can find Ven, Sora because he has his Heart and Riku so he can dive into Sora and free it.

But Aqua has to come with whoever's undertaking the mission, because she's the only one who can get to the Chamber of Waking in the first place.

You forgot that Nomura is the best in the business when it comes to stuff like this, 

Sora could do it too because "his heart is strong enough to do so".

But Aqua should be the one to do it.

However, only Sora can truly wake him up. (because Sora has Ven's heart)

I would actually but...I can't decide if I would want it orchestrated or not......I honestly have no idea what a orchestrated version of the Castle Oblivion theme would be but I guess they are usually better with the exception with FF 10 and some other games.

Everyone is expecting that Aqua is going to Castle Oblivion to rescue Ven, but it would be too predictable and lame somehow.

 

I wish only Sora will go to Castle Oblivion and that Namine will play a certain role in this, because of her importance in CoM. I also want to see Vanitas' comeback here in a bossfight.

Sora is not a person who would abuse the balance of light and darkness.

 

It would make Sora even more special that he won't be touched by this trick Eraqus is talking about. He also has Ventus heart inside him, which could react to the presence of his body... Like a compass.

It would be a retcon for something like this to happen. Aqua is needed to find Ventus."I have to do something or we'll both be lost. I'm with you. Go! Ven, I'm sorry... I might not make it back as soon as I thought. But I promise I'll be there, one day, to wake you up."Promises aren't broken in Kingdom Hearts. She will keep to that promise, just like Sora keeps to his promises. She will be there along with Sora to wake Ventus up, because she is needed to locate him. Xemnas tried finding him, he couldn't because Aqua is the only one who can locate him.

Guys,  guys. Music in Castle Oblivion, not whether Aqua or Sora will save Ven. Obviously Roxas is going for that Ventus booty

I'm pretty sure that Castle Oblivion's theme could sound even darker in Kingdom Hearts III!  I love the theme as well, especially the battle theme!  Gahhh, I want to see Aqua reunite with Ventus already!

Yep. Castle Oblivion has one of the best world themes in my opinion, such mystery is in its tone and yet it sounds so dark as well. I just wanted to add that your avatar looks awesome.

Haha, yeah, and I really want this world to return in Kingdom Hearts III!  Well, I have no doubt it'll return, since that's where Ven is resting, so yeah, it's guaranteed to come back!  And when we step into said world, I can't wait to hear how the theme will sound!

I like the Castle Oblivion theme too. Since we will probably have to return to that world, I think they will use the theme, but probably remake it just like what they did to some pieces in HD 1.5 and 2.5 Remix.

They shouldn't remaster/remake it, in my opinion, because it might lose that nostalgic feel we had when we ventured deeper into Castle Oblivion with that mysterious music. Also. this is one of the few themes, like Night of Fate, that should be kept the same. I also hope Night of Fate returns in KH3.  Most intense music ever!
