Hey guys! You see, I never post anything here but with all the news that came up about KH3, I started wondering about somethings, so I decided to make this post and see what you guys think about it!
A pretty small part of KHx will be discussed, but I'll put a spoiler tag (I'll try, cause I dont't know how it works ).
The first thing that has been bothering me is about what part will the seven princesses will play in the game. Nomura stated that most of the worlds will be new to the series, so how are will the princess fit in the story? The X Blade needs 7 lights and 13 darkness, so Xehanort can either clash against the wielders or simply capture the princesses, so the obvious thing to do is to protect the princess. So what I'd like them to do is to make this the begining of the game, making Sora go through the worlds that the princesses belong and take them to a safe place. It would be like a tutorial, playing in small parts of each world.
The second point is how they will develop Roxas's and Xion's story, which brings me to KHx.
In Khx we have the six apprentices and their Master. KH3 story will be about Sora going after a "Key to Return Hearts" and that makes me wonder if this keyblade belonged to the Master of the Masters just like Xehanort's keyblade problably belonged to the sixth apprentice, who is problably the traitor (that would be very cool, the Master's keyblade clashing against his own apprentice's keyblade). But how Roxas and Xion fit in all this? I think that when Sora finds this Keyblade, his has to go through soemthing like a Dive to the Heart to prove that his worthy of wielding that keyblade. And while in this Dive, Sora would have to "suffer", fell what Roxas and Xion felt, their anger, sadness...Kinda like what happened in DDD, but in a deeper way. And going through all this, would make Roxas an Xion be released form their suffering, not in a "release them from my heart so they can be someone". NO! It would be more like comforting them so they can rest. And that would not be all, after having his feelings and mind crushed, Sora would become more mature, leaving the naive way that he's been represented through almost all games.
I still have some stuff that I've been thinking about, but I'll let for another day.
