As the title asks, how would you feel if 3/4 the population died off/disappeared? Try and answer seriously, though you can answer jokingly as well!

 

Oh, I suppose I should explain why I'm asking. See, I'm writing something where the main premise is that about 3/4 of the population gets killed off in an explosion. So I was just wondering how you people would react if that were to happen.

By gone, do you mean POOF, gone, or dead from a disease or something?

Seriously question as to what happened to humanity and what this could lead to. How does it affect me and what is left?

I would not know how to react.

I might finally have enough motivation to start seriously dating someone...

But is all seriousness it depends on whether they died off or disappeared: If they died off I would probably believe it was a virus and quarantine myself.  If they all just up and out of nowhere disappeared, I would be completely confused at first, but set off into the world to discover what happened or to at least see what is left behind (It would be a curiosity I would not be able to ignore).

Everyday i sometimes think there are too many people. And most of them i could do without. Its not like i want them to be gone thou. Im not light yagami or anything. I just want them to go live on the moon or something. Just anywhere away from me

I'd probably find it very scary that almost the entire population has been blown away to oblivion!  If such a thing were to happen, I really don't know what I'd do.  I'd pray that I'd be able to find my loved ones, unless I'm already with them, and well, we'd do our best to survive the aftermath of said explosion event.  Ugh, thinking about it is scary, though! D:

I'm still alive, so it's not that bad, I shall continue my life, and depending on the situation (like how important are the people who have died for me, or if there's going to be another masacre and it is stoppable) it would go one way or the other.

So Fallout basically? I'd get a fat man and run around noscoping super mutants.
