The only contest worth anything was the 2007 character battle where the L-Block from Tetris won.

Besides, they were both pretty momentous additions to the PS2. X was the best looking and first voice acted FF game at the time and KH2 took what made KH1 so fun and turned it into a rapid experience that defined many Sony user's childhoods. One show's the PS2's humble beginnings while the other shows it's impressive push into it'd middle life. Both really seem worth voting for.

 

Oh dear, it looks like Super Smash Bros. Melee and Chrono Trigger are in the lead in both battles however. I really hope these two PS2 wonders can push out on top.

I'm just so upset that the first thing I saw after voting was that Persona 3 lost to Dragon Quest VIII I mean come on sure it was probably gonna lose to Chrono Trigger anyway but still

Who the hell votes here in that faq? FFVIII > GTA: Vice City? XDDDDD. DK Country 2 > Xenoblade Chronicles? XDDDDD. DK Country 2 > FE Awakening? XDDDDD. A Link to the past > FFIV? XDDDDDD. Super Mario RPG > GTA V? XDDDDD. Chrono Cross > GTA: San Andreas? XDDDD. 

 

How good can DK Country 2 be to be above FE Awakening? And even above Xenoblade Chronicles? Xenoblade is the best game I've played, mind you!

 

I just dislike FFVIII, but GTA is good, who the hell votes here? Same goes with Super Mario RPG, Mario is a platform game, its RPG games weren't that good, and GTA V was amazing, especially with its online mode. And Chrono Cross? Mind you, I've never heard of it, and GTA: San Andreas is the best GTA game in a mile, and probably the best Rockstar game too, who the hell voted here?

 

And a Link to the past? That's probably one of the worst Zelda games! It has virtually 10% of storyline, and gameplay wise is one of the worst too, while FFIV was one of the best FF games of all time!

 

 

 

And now I can see FFX lose against Chrono Trigger, but how? FFX was one of the most succesful Square games, and Chrono Trigger is above it? No way! (I'm not saying Chrono Trigger is bad, but saying that it's better than FFX is just too much)

 

And seeing how KH2 can lose against Smash Bros. isn't good, Smash Bros. is good, but not that good!

 

 

All together, I can see how at least 60% of the votes is Nintendo fanbase, I hope you see this more or less like me

Either FFVII or one of the Zelda games will win. Also the moment they paired up Smash Bros with KH2, KH2 lost. KH doesn't have that many fans.

 

And damn, FFX is losing so much against Chrono Trigger.

Good to see Chrono Trigger winning. Brilliant game.

 

Not sure why Kingdom Hearts II is being paired up against Melee though, I'll pick it, but Melee is good fun with friends.

 

 

Edit: How the hell did Sonic 2 beat Portal 2? What is wrong with people? Portal 2 is one of the best games to come out in the last decade.

Yellow should be alot better then blue/red.

From the looks of it, both FFX and KH2 are going to lose.

A lot of people love FFIX, me included, but I personally prefer KH. It's quite close, though.

Donkey Kong Country 2 is one of the best platformer of all time,so its no surprise that it beat a Fire Emblem game and of course A Link to the past beat FFIV :)I doubt enough people voted on this thing anyway to really tell what the best game ever is.
