Hardest Storyline Boss and Why(No KH bosses)

Posted

Out of any game you have played, what would the boss you had most trouble with in the games main storyline and why?

It can be any game as long as it's not KH related and is not optional/secret.

For me...It would have to be the Brimmflamme boss in White Knight Chronicles 2.

This guy was just a giant difficulty spike to the face not to mention that you have to vs it FOUR TIMES each time stronger and during the last form you have to switch out one of your party members to bring in another character thats 10 levels under! This is just one of those annoying tanky bosses and when you die...you're gonna have to start this all over again.

I don't care how experienced anyone is: Caius's Boss Fight in Lightning Returns FFXIII HAS to be one of the craziest storyline bosses in that game! He has loads of HP, has huge defense, and ramps up the difficulty by spamming powerful Magic attacks in his Ravager Mode. Not only that, but they underrated the order of his chapter compared to Sazh's and Fang's. 3rd Chapter of 5? Sazh should've been the third, then Fang's as the Fourth. Much more sense IMO. (However, I did beat every main story boss on my first try. xD But of all of the bosses, Caius was the worst.)

I guess Caius really is the strongest Final Fantasy villain. :P Sora96 knew what he was talking about...

Chronos from tales of Xillia 2. I've had a VERY hard time trying to fight him in my first playthough. He can stop time temporarily, gets, Gets A LOT of hits on you,  does attacks that you can barely block, AND can EVEN reset the whole entire battle itself.

Lavos from Chrono trigger is tough, so is seymour's 2nd fight from FFX. That fight is literally impossible, so is the fight with braska's final aeon.

right now all i can think of is the boss fight from Persona 2: Innocent Sin. Towards the end of the game you're fighting Mayan aliens or something. There's five of them and they all have different properties and up to that point I had just been collecting and making Personas as I pleased. After a few fights of getting my ass handed to me I had to look up a FAQ to find out what Personas I needed to win. I had to put my game on hold just to go around grinding for new Personas lol

it at least made the end game easier than it probably would have been, had i continued to force my way through with the Personas I had. that was probably the hardest for me.

Oh man i can't really pick one.

Zeus in God of War 3 on the hardest difficulty, This was HELL espacially in his third phase were there are clones of himself everywere which does the same amount of damage as Zeus himself and on top of that Zeus has attacks that litterly one shots you AND on top of that he can heal himself, GG Zeus

Lord Allant from Demon Souls. firetruck, THIS, GUY

Every boss from MGS2 (except the last boss he was just fun to fight). Because the camera and controlls are bad

The Last boss from Tales of Xillia (can't remember his name). i don't know if people actually find him hard but i had a really hard time with him for some reason, he doesn't really have any attacks that are that hard to avoid except his ultimate attack (that can go firetruck it self by the way) and i don't think he has that much HP, Maybe i thought he was hard because i was so excited when i got to him since Tales of Xillia is one of my favorite games of all time

I'll see your Caius and raise you Necron.

This guy. This effing guy. Not only does he attack super fast, he counters a ton, and he likes to spam a move that hits your entire party with status effects that will wreck you fast. Not to mention that he hits like a tank.

Posted ImageThey literally made me decide to stop playing Dark Souls for a while.

The Final Fantasy VII Weapons and Adel in the beginning of Disc 4 in Final Fantasy VIII.

Huff n Puff from Paper Mario used to give me nightmares.

The Egg Emperor from Sonic Heroes (With all teams)

Alternis Dim from Bravely Default (Stupid Minus Strike giving 9999 damage)

Airy from Bravely Default (I hate that fairy)
