Yeah upon watching it a second time I heard the difference. I just got off DBZ and I'm in the middle of GT, so I guess I'm too used to hearing that voice actress. I haven't really heard Kai in years. Still pretty funny though.

It's not that bad if I'm going to be honest. The only thing I have a problem with is how long Goku stays a kid, but otherwise it's a pretty minor nitpick. There isn't nearly as much anti-hype as people have been building up.

So far I just started the Super 17 Saga. Seems like your basic villains' revenge saga, and if anything it'll likely just serve as a segway into the Dark Dragon saga. And I'm a pretty forgiving guy. I don't give Days and Coded nearly as much of a hard time as most people do. Plus, this feels like the more actiony half of the series.

This arc literally makes no sense whatsoever. It's a insult to both DragonBall lore and proper story telling.

Eh, it's an alternate telling. I don't think Toriyama even minds that much. He's never outright said that he didn't like the series or that it shouldn't be considered canon. It probably won't be until he either says so directly or when Super does something that heavily contradicts what is established by GT's beginning, then it can just be ignored. But it doesn't at all feel like an "insult" to the series, it seems more like a tangent like the movies where. They aren't necessary, but they add a lot of fun moments.

 It sucks. The Super 17 Arc alone breaks so many rules established by DragonBall mythos and in general doesn't make any sense. It's insulting because the entire series is made up of asinine trite exactly like that. Any good idea it might have is drowned out by the stupidity.
