Kingdom Hearts Easter Egg in Inside Out

Posted

While watching Inside Out over Christmas last week, I happened to notice that when Riley and her mom are walking down the block, there is a store that they walk by which reads Terra's symbolic. Its to the far right of them and can be seen at 3:41 here:

I didn't see it. Also, isn't it sorta illegal showing us a 15 minute footage of a movie that Disney didn't consent to?

I don't think it's a KH Easter Egg...just a random name

I see it but I highly doubt it has something to do with Kingdom Hearts

Not entirely sure if it was an intentional Easter egg. The color is orange like Terra's wayfinder but that's probably coincidental.

Regardless that's a nice eye you got there and it's still pretty nifty! Wonder what Terra sells...

Oh yeah, I saw it! I don't think it's an Easter egg (even though we are nowhere close to Easter). Just a name they chose. Besides, Terra wouldn't care for pizza probably.

Terra is a legitimate name, so I doubt it's an Easter Egg.

Makes you wonder why they even call it an Easter Egg. If it's because you have to hunt for it, it's kind of a stupid reason.

Well in tradition, on Easter, the Easter bunny comes and hides eggs for the children. The children then hunt for them and try to find them. The term has been used for hidden details in films and other media. They are like shoutouts in a way.

Aww, come on. I know what kids do on Easter. There could still have been a better name for it.

Don't shoot the messenger. Shoot the person who used the term in that way the first time.

Well, you weren't the target, but okay.

I think consequence Terra symbolic? Not really a good match.

Just a coincidence, not an Easter Egg.
