Do any of you have families that use home remedies?

Recently I got an assignment from my Health Science teacher about my families home remedies and it's pretty interesting.

For example, my mom gets a little piece of red cloth and sticks it to babies foreheads whenever they have hiccups to make the hiccups go away. It sounds weird but it actually works.

What about you guys? [:

Whoa that's weird o-o

I might have to try that out...

My grandma used to put pennies on on foreheads to stop blood noses and headaches.

It works but it also depends on the person and there skin...

Ill have to try that out I hate bloody noses.

putting salt on an injury makes it heal faster.

i hate home remedies.

Another hiccup trick: hop up and down on one leg. Trust me. It works.

You can also bend down and drink a warm glass of water while bent down.

To get rid of a cold faster, suck on ice cubes (:

Something my grandma came up with, though it's kind of ironic xD

Oh you sick clever fool you.

Next I will pour it on a snail to make it lose weight.

Last year, my social studies teacher would give us sugar packets to get rid of hiccups. owo

Putting honey on your face will clear up your skin and moisturize at the same time. It really works for me and my mom, but some people said they had allergic reactions or it made their face all red and itchy. So it depends on your skin.

Peanut butter works really well too for acne on your skin.

Lately my mom makes me take Advil for EVERYTHING. My head hurts? Advil. I got a cut? Advil. I sprained my leg? Advil.

I try to get my mom to stop making me take it for every little thing. As that stuff can cause internet bleeding if taken too much. She listens but whenever someone in my family has something wrong with their bodies she will try to force advil all the time.

If I die from any drug overdose, it's definitely going too be advil lol.

If you have a headache, lay down on put a pencil on your forehead. Seriously, it works if you can get the pencil to stay xD

My grandmother used to mix butter and salt and put it on my injuries and they'd heal the next day.

If you have allegies like me,make a mix of honey, aloe, raisins and cinnamon.Mix them up and drink it.It works, trust me.I've been drinking this mix for quite a time and I haven't had an alergy attack in two years.
