Source code on the official website for the March FFXV event includes code for a PC/Steam release.

Should come as no surprise. It's been expected since September 2014.

Hmm. Dunno exactly how I feel about this

So from PS4 and XboxOne to PC as well. They really are pushing it so people can get it. Now we wait until the release date is announced next month at an event of theirs.

makes sense that they'd want a game of such high quality to be experienced by as many people as possible.

This isn't shocking, considering that they have been making a push to get all the games available on PC.  I'm not a PC gamer, but it is awesome that they will also have a chance to play.

Well it wouldn't be a port since the game was developed on PC and is being ported to consoles. They even said that it can be played from start to finish on PC a few months ago.

Nice!

I knew they had this planned! It was a matter of time. If this actually true then I'm glad for those people who wanted the game to release on PC. :)

Hopefully this is a true. I'm going to wait for the PC version either way, but it would be nice having a chance at avoiding spoilers.

Guess they changed their plans of just considering a PC port after the console release, I mean some people argue but it says the same thing on the Tomb Raider page, but the thing is Square is  unrelentingly releasing PC ports, even stealth releasing, also Square has had Javascript leaks before, and would think they wouldn't let something like this slip their radar.

All video games are created on a PC.

As Sora96 already told you, PCs are used to create all video games, haha. By that logic, no original console game is a PC port.

Also, if this is really happening, I might just buy it on both the PC and my PS4. I love playing Final Fantasy on PlayStation, but I also

love having a Steam collection especially when it comes to Square Enix games. :P

Yep, PC gamers are gonna be happy about this!  When the release date hits next month, the world's gonna blow up in pure chaos!  It's gonna be so fun!!! :D

Well what I mean is that there are games that are developed specifically for a console like the ps4 and the ps4 version is then ported over to the Xbox and then PC however for XV that's not the case the PC version of the game won't be a port of the console version it will be the original.

Good luck with that. 1.5 & 2.5 have licensing issues.

To me it doesn't matter when they do it, I mean it's not like it's impossible for them to fix the licensing issues it's just a matter of when they do and when they port it.
