Would you rather play as Young Eraqus or Young Xehanort in Kingdom Hearts III?

Posted

Assuming Young Eraqus and Xehanort are going to be playable characters during the beginning of Kingdom Hearts III, who would you rather play as?

I'm #TeamXehanort

Disclaimer: The prospect of playing as Young Eraqus or Xehanort is neither confirmed or denied by an official source. This poll is based on future speculation and a fun aspect to allow our members to give their own perspective.

I want to play Young Eraqus the most but I also would love to play as Young Xehanort too. Both would be the best option

Both, it'd just be awesome to see how they both play, especially if they serve as tutorial characters. That would be such an interesting way to start the game! <3

Hrm, not really sure. Probably both? There's a lot of lore to them regardless, so we'll definitely find out more. I don't think we'll necessarily need to play as either of them to get their perspectives, but I won't say no.

Coming from me, the answer's pretty obvious.

I'd rather play as Young Xehanort of course.

Neither

If Nomura is still claiming that Sora is STILL the main character of KH3 and future games, how about we give said main character some actual character development and some legit motivation, don't give me the crap of "Oh Xehanort hurt his friends that's enough reason for him to hate Xehanort"........for one all of them came back including AxelLea,Sora never met Terra in person, don't even know who Ventus is even after housing his heart and barely remember the blue haired woman(Aqua) he met for 5 minutes when he was like what.........6 years old.And with Yen Sid and Mickey purposefully.....PURPOSEFULLY keeping him in the dark(seriously they waited until Sora left to tell Riku about super crucial information about THE PEOPLE THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO SAVE)he has no reason to feel anything for people he never even knew in the first place. As for Roxas,AxelLea(who came back) and Xion, they're part of the reason why he hates Xemnas but that's about it

Beyond that the only reason Sora has to fight Xehanort is just because Xehanort is the big baddie villain and needs to be stopped,no personal drive or motivation.......just doing the typical hero job all while lacking any sort of character development

Yes I'm aware that what I'm saying would get a couple of people angry but................before we shove more characters in,how about we flesh out the ones we have right now before adding more?

I would like to play both :D

No contest, both.  They're both great characters; why would I want to neglect one?

Both

'Eh'

Not really sure honestly. Don't have a strong opinion of either as of yet. YMX's play style in Dream Drop Distance would be fun but this is pre-timetravel shenanigans. Don't even know what to say about Eraqus.

I'd be fine if we played as neither but I'm not going to object to anything.
