RWBY: Dusk

 

The World of Remnant has been in piece for several years and life was good. Hunters and Huntresses trained and defended lives from Grimm, but a new force of darkness strikes fear into people and Remnant grows dark.

Dive into the World of Remnant and face against Grimm and the forces of evil as a Hunter or Huntress. Start your main character as a student at Beacon.

My suggestions follow Atrias' prior suggestion and are assorted like this using all twelve characters:

 

DIAM -- Diamond, compiled of Starr Dandelion (D), Iridia Clearwater (I), Adrianna Delphi (A) Mendum Arsenic (M),CHRC -- Charcoal, compiled of Sapphira Clearwater ( C ), Viridem Hangin (H), Shade Rowlen ( R ), Akash Challis ( C )CRTN -- Carnation, compiled of Dominic C. ( C ), Royce Lee ( R ), Sora Tatagi (T), Nutmeg Mors (N)

 

Hopefully the names are all right.  I tried to match up Team Diamond with Starr for a gem's inherent shine, Akash with Team Charcoal for unknown reasons (*suspicious look*), and Carnation came with the rest of the letters.

 

Edit:  Hmm, Carnation would pair up with Dominic's red and white colour scheme, as the colour carnation is a pink or light red.  Just pretend that's on purpose.

I Like it but maybe we can make CRTN more color themed. I cant think of anything colored themed but here are other possibilities for that last team, CLMT (Climate) LMTD (Limited), TRND (Trend, Turned), DRNS (Darns) SCRM (Scram) CLNT (Client) these are all just random. My minds drawing a blank.

I went through a list of colors to see if I could come up with anything, but I got nothing... But I did find SMDR (Salamander). Other then that I couldn't find anything.

well, a carnation is a type of flower of light pink or red coloration, like Vaude mentioned. It should work.

I've been toying the concept around in my head, but I just can't get any good combinations either.  I think carnation is actually considered a shade of pink in addition to the flower, if given the Crayola crayon color "Carnation Pink."  If not, you could also go with CRSN for Crimson (Dominic C., Royce L., Sora T, and Nutmeg M.), which would be strictly color-based.

I wasn't even thinking of the flower. I was thinking like "what in carnations." Not the flower. I like that idea.

I'm probably going to go with Vaude's idea for the team names if no objects.

Ah, the "what in tarnation" phrase!  I should use that more often.  I really like the thought of Team CTRN, however, as citrine is a pale yellow and a gemstone, which fits the name of Team RWBY quite nicely.  Crimson (CRSN) looks spectacular as well.  Whatever is chosen, I am quite happy that we've got this squared away for now, and I look forward to the beginning of this roleplay!

It kind of sounds better.

I just changed the teams to Vaudes idea. I'm just going to G with that since it is good and so we can start and not have to worry about it anymore. You guys can go check it out.

Whoops, forgot to change it on the main sheet, but you are correct, Angel.  I altered Nacre's name to Iridia to better fit the spectrum of the teams, and I think I like it better than the harsh-sounding Nacre.  A change shall come to the profile soon.  Also, hmm, yeah, it seems that DIMD would be a better fit, wouldn't it?  I wish I thought of that beforehand.

 

As for the changes to the original post of the RP, I see two things:  "Slash" instead of "Akash," and "Tatagi" instead of "Takagi," unless one or both were typos originally.  Beyond that, the team format looks great!

Okay well I will make the adjustments. Until then the RP is open, teams are made and have a great first day at school.

I wanted to tip my proverbial hat and state that I'm quite impressed with everyone's character's connecting with each other.  I had my worries with the interaction in this roleplay, but you all have proven that my worries were unnecessary.  Thanks, ladies and gents.

 

In addition, I wanted to make mention to Eraqus, Angel, and Rikunobody that I made a slight opening for your characters to meet Iridia, if anyone's interested.  =)

I am interested but I can't roleplay much today because I need to study for tomorrow's exam.

(I guess I was gone too long. Disappointing.)

 

While I admit that the timing is a bit poor for your data to run out, it is a bit too early to give up.  Besides that, there is more to the story, most probably originating from everybody's lack of time during midterms and life in general.  I'll get a post out tomorrow after getting some shut-eye.  Hopefully that'll defibrillate the heart of things but good, *preemptive "CLEAR!"*.

I'm definitely still interested, though I just am waiting on others before proceeding.
