The names of the Foretellers' have finally been revealed, and all evidence points to them being named after the seven deadly sins. Since this is the case, I thought it pertinent to look up the seven virtues, each of which are said to directly oppose the seven sins.
Here:
1. Sloth=Diligence
2. Gluttony=Temperance
3. Greed=Charity
4. Wrath=Patience
5. Envy=Kindness
6. Lust=Chastity
7. Pride= Humility.
Let's take a look at Sloth, from which Ursus' name Aced comes from. Sloth is profound laziness. This makes little to no sense considering how hard working we know Terra to be. But that's the thing. He's hardworking. He had such a strong will his mind managed to possess his freakin' armor and make it move. Terra is diligent.
It is possible each of the Foretellers' names come from the seven deadly sins as a way to parallel/contrast them to their future selves slash present counterparts. This can also be seen with Ira (Unicornis) and Riku. Ira's name comes from the latin word for wrath. Patience, in this context, means to endure hardships with patience and dignity, to be able to forgive, and to have sense of harmony and stability. Riku's entire story deals with his struggles with darkness, and aside from the first game, he's shown to endure that painful journey with dignity. He finally manages a sense of stability by the end of KH3D, and it is also in this game he manages to forgive himself for his previous misdeeds. Riku is the EPITOME of patience.
Taking this into account, we notice the motif of the number seven. Seven deadly sins, seven heavenly virtues...seven guardians of light. Now, that may just be coincidence, but if it's not? The Rebirth theory keeps on gaining credence, guys...
