Time-travel. KH has it. (spoilers)

Posted

Thanks to RoxSox for this. I'll post the chat up, so you can see.

RoxSoxKH: Well, they finally got a video out with the starting and ending cutscenes of the battle.

RoxSoxKH: And...

RoxSoxKH: I noticed one or two things.

RoxSoxKH: He fades in and out...

RoxSoxKH: kind like a misty wave...

RoxSoxKH: appearing her and there

RoxSoxKH: like you said, like a ghost.

RoxSoxKH: And...

RoxSoxKH: if one were to look carefully at both his stance, and the hilt of his blades.

RoxSoxKH: You'll notice something far more interesting...

RoxSoxKH: Clock hands.

RoxSoxKH: Then,

RoxSoxKH: the keyblade you get when defeating him...

RoxSoxKH: if you look at the keychain?

RoxSoxKH: An hourglass.

RoxSoxKH: One blade pointing straight up behind his back, the other foward, going out to the side.

RoxSoxKH: Look at it closely?

RoxSoxKH: His stance is like a clock.

This man is a genius. Its all there.

People who said that time travel was not in KH, was wrong. I am included in that group. Up until seeing the video of the secret boss, I would have believed different. But its all there.

You are right.

So, the plot for KH3 is close to unguessable, because I thought Xehanort would return during KH3, not KH 3D.

This makes things a little complicated.

Kingdom Hearts 3D has the number '3' in it, in that interview mentioned that it could be seen as the 'Third Interpretation of Kingdom Hearts'

So it could be Xehanorts next stab at creating Kingdom Hearts.

I read a theory elsewhere about The snarl of memories scene and the Riku scenes in coded where connected to kh3d. Although it was an amazing theory, I don't remember it having anything to do with time.

EDIT: this is way to weird because a person just posted in this thread that the theory was on bringing it to the top of the list again and I haven't read this in forever.

EDIT2:another connection between void gear and no name is that the two hold the connotation of an absence in the first word. Also just got to fight against Mf and I realized how many of his attacks involve the fancied up clock and its hands.

Yep, I had noticed all of these icons, and I must say, I agree. Time travel DOES exist. I mean, comeone! He travels in time IN the battle. how can someone say he DOESNT?

The form of time travel that he does I believe is the question to be asked now seeing that the theme of time and traveling through it has been established. When he did time travel he didn't jump back 10 seconds in time (unless that is what all of his clones were) instead it was something much different. If you were to put yourself in his shoes for all we know he could have had the "slow" effect be on *insert person here* the whole time and oftenly he would cast stop and that would be when he goes insanely fast from place 1 to place 2. Lets not forget time splicer (vanitas' spirit uses this). Because the time themed commands are cannon, perhaps there are even more advanced commands pertaining to time. This time reversing in time might have been a combination of a reverse on MF and a stop on *character* that lasted longer. Come to think of it, other than the melee attacks one could build a "deck" duplicate of MF moves, that is if bbs had all the moves from re:com like invisible.

Ultimately I do not believe this time travel magic that would take you back 10 years.

did someone realize that hes got a keyblade?

i just died against him when he did that really fast rush attack thing and remember when you die the whole scene is like in slomo i clearly could see a keyblade

or am i wrong oO

sry checked it stupid thought

The design of the blades are very odd. When they are together there is often a hand guard, I think you would call it, which is a feature of all keyblades, and when they are seperate there is rarely that hand guard. You might have seen this and thought it was a keyblade and btw it wasn't a stupid thought. These blades might even be a sort of "intermidiatary keyblade" as soul eater was for Riku if the hand gaurd was meant to give it a keybladey look to it. Some of Xemnas' weapons have a hand guard like feature if I remember correctly but the MF's ones did seem more like a keyblade than Xemnas.

good one ^^ yea could be

i think its xehanort from the future that reborn xehanort

I would have to go with the idea that MF is one of Xehanorts seeds that are one of xehanorts "many roads to take" such as Terra.

you mean that possible guy yensid referred to in the recoded secret ending?

Its true, friends.

The hilts on the Secret Bosses etheral blades, upon closer inspection, appear to be the tips of clock hands.

The bosses battle stance, with the positioning of his blades, looks likes the position of said clock hands.

The keyblade, "No Name", that you are rewarded with when defeating him? The keychain pendant is that of an hourglass, and a clock is embedded into the design here and there.

Time travel or not, this character is at least associated with time.

He may be Master Xenahort's accomplice in 3ds and he may be responsible for sora and riku wearing their KH attire.

Actually I was just stating a general statement but what you said could work.

this makes total sense i never thought of how is stance is realated to a clock

clock? maybe where his swords are pointing is a time?

i would say left hand 11 right hand 2

Actually. His left hand is 12, and his right hand is 3.

KH3. Lol.

Actually. His left hand is 12, and his right hand is 3.

KH3. Lol.

Well that sums it up. I wouldn't be surpised if Nomura meant to do that.

That mofo is going to be in KH3 8D

Male version of Sakuya. 'nuff said

This Mysterious guy is seriously badass <3 He can manipulate time xD Luxord's somebody? o-o

And then it turns out KH3 gets released December 3rd.

Or March 2012.

Or something.

Time travel in KH? That would be cool! Being a fan of time travel movies (mainly Back to the Future) I like to see some time traveling in the series. That boss could reference to some future KH game involving time travel. There may even be some new enemies, similar to the Heartless or Unversed, that can relate to time travel. You never know. KH has involved world traveling and virtual worlds so far. So, why not include some time traveling?

I was thinking about how kh1 ways there is the realm of light darkness between and present. Of course the realm of the present ends up being the realm of nothing but now that we have our mysterious figure I see a connection. We have a theme of time tied to the realm of nothing, nobodies come from the realm of nothing ... and I am not going to say anything else because there isn't enough info for an excellent theory. Just thought I would throw this out there

Alright guys, new info has risen. Nomura said that in KH3D/KH3, more than one Xehanort could possibly be present.

MF has to be one of these forms of Xehanort. He has the Ethreal Blades, the X-Blade moves (possibly because of Xemnas merging with Kingdom Hearts), all of that.

Nomura never mentioned about what will happen in KH3, he stated that KH3D will have a connection to KH3. He never mentioned what will actually happened in KH3.

-sigh- Dude. That is the reason I put KH3D/KH3, not just KH3. I know KH3D and KH3 are connected, but that wasn't the point of my post.
