Posted May 8, 20169 yr Personally, I believe BvS was better. But, I want to see your opinions, as well. Please, no fanboy wars!!! Both DC and Marvel are good...So, let's not fight over this.
May 8, 20169 yr While I liked the visual effects in BvS (And the character of Lex!) I still prefer Civil War. BvS felt like it was jumping from sub-plot to sub-plot, while Civil War was just finding the "bad guy" and then fight between the heroes. And don't forget Spiderman! May 8, 20169 yr I prefered civil war myself. it's purely biaised and much, I simply prefer marvel over dc, that's my personnal feeling^^ BvS wasn't bad either, just doesn't appeal to me as much as a 10min spidey that'd be my "fan" opinion. Now, objectively, both films were entertaining, and had their flows. civil war loses itself in its story, starting with the acts to shift to capXbucky's crusade lead by you know who and BsV just wanted to tell too much and capitalize on Nolan's legacy.nice visuals still, and Batman is very convincing in this movie too spidey rocks
May 8, 20169 yr I haven't seen Batman Vs Superman yet, so i'll have to go with Captain America: Civil War. Edited May 8, 20169 yr by KHUndertaleFan25
May 8, 20169 yr Civil War not because I don't like DC or anything personally love Batman as a character but BVS had two things in it I really don't like Superman and Ben Affleck don't like Superman as a character he's to perfect as for Ben Affleck I don't like him for being a jackass (best word I can use here without getting in trouble) I'm dreading the next Batman film because of him Also Civil War Antman and Spiderman were awesome and it worked as a captain america film despite what i originally thought Edited May 8, 20169 yr by Joemahon1
May 8, 20169 yr Is this even a question? Civil War is WORLDS better than BvS in too many categories to count.
May 8, 20169 yr Civil War had more going for it... Not only that but this on and off, half assed Cinematic Universe DC has going on just isnt cutting it. MCU has been going on for nearly 10 years, and theyre just playing catch up
May 8, 20169 yr As a DC fan who loves both Superman and Batman, and who is very tired of Marvel more or less releasing the same movie over and over again without trying anything particularly different, it's still impossible for me to say that Batman v Superman is better than any movie, given that it's an unforgivable piece of refuse.

May 8, 20169 yr Spider-Man is in Civil War. Need I say more? Nah but Civil War just felt better executed in many ways. I don't particularly hate BvS though, I'm very laid-back with my entertainment and keep my expectations low lmao
May 8, 20169 yr I haven't seen the films, but I like Marvel movies better so I'm going with Civil War.
May 8, 20169 yr Both were great, but I'm going to have to give it to CW. Ending felt better compared to BvS. Edited May 8, 20169 yr by OmegaForte
May 9, 20169 yr Civil War. It was just a better film. BvS has a lot of problems and while I had zero expectations going into it, I left the film frustrated that I had wasted my time watching it. I know you could argue that Civil War had an already established cast of characters, but BvS should have been directed better because it was just a mess.
May 10, 20169 yr I saw both Batman Vs Superman and Captain America: Civil War, and while I liked BvS and thought that it was a pretty good film, I loved Civil War way more! (I also happen to know more about Marvel than DC, but hey, I'm trying to learn more about DC too so that I'm on equal ground! ) The thing with Civil War is that there's been an entire Cinematic Universe laid down, 12 films prior that have built to this inevitable confrontation! The fact that we know the characters in Civil War so well makes us feel emotionally attached to them and their struggles, ya know? And also, the Russo Brothers did an excellent job managing character development for every character that was onscreen! Like, seriously, all 12 heroes that appear here have their moment to shine in this film, and I loved the character development for all of them! I especially loved the introductions for Black Panther and Spider-Man! I had always wanted to see these two in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and now, finally, this dream has come true! Now I can look forward to seeing their solo films in the coming years! But yeah, the introductions for these two characters were splendid, and I loved each moment they were onscreen! And well, I just felt that the battle between Team Cap and Team Iron Man was much more fleshed out and personal than Batman Vs Superman, ya know? That's not to say I didn't like BvS, because I did! I'm looking forward to seeing what the DC Cinematic Universe has in store, but yeah, I loved Civil War more! Wow, everyone has voted for Civil War, huh? Impressive, most impressive!
Personally, I believe BvS was better. But, I want to see your opinions, as well. Please, no fanboy wars!!! Both DC and Marvel are good...So, let's not fight over this.
