I recently modelled Luxu's Keyblade.

I haven't textured the model because the resolution of colours from the images ripped from the browser game is too blurry and thus I am unable to assign colours to the model.

I would appreciate it if anybody can help to recreate a HD version of the art

Here is the source image

I've tried making the image larger and sharpening it on photoshop, I am still unable to isolate the parts with lighter gray from the parts with darker gray, especially when it comes to the key chain and the charm.

I had a high quality image of his keyblade, but unfortunately it got lost when I moved to windows 10. But, your model looks really good!

You should check C:/Windows.old for any files you may have lost.

They really aught to give us names for these things, even if we never get to wield them. It at least tells us more about the wielders who have them.

Exactly. It would be nice if we were told what they are called.

Nice job so far. Keep going and polish it up and it will look great.

My headcanon name for Xehanort/Luxu's Keyblade was always Legion. It fits the Chimera theme and the theme of Xehanort using it to create thirteen versions of himself. "Legion, for we are many".

Hmmm, maybe, but I've always noticed a common theme with most Keyblade names is that they tend to be a combination of two words. Even one worded ones like "Starlight" and "Rainfell" still have a literary combination of two worlds ("star" and "light", "rain" and "fall", etc.). So it would make more sense to me if it fell along those lines.

I mean, it's more my personal take on it really lol.

I know, same here. But Legion could be at least one of the words in the name, unless it turns out that each of the Foretellers' Keyblades have specific naming conventions to them (such as listing the name of the animal it's based around).

Don't stress Sun! xD

Was your lost image the art of the KHUx Keyblade?

Duuuude, this looks amazing!  You always make exceptionally awesome 3D models, and this Keyblade is no exception! I can't wait to see the fully texturized, complete version!  Great work, catmaster! :D

It was in KH X, I might be able to get another one before they close the game.

It is from Kingdom Hearts X. I had a friend rip the picture from the game before but the source resolution was pretty poor.

Would you be able to get a higher quality picture?

I think the one that's currently available was like 300x500 or something like that (Its pretty low res)

But on KH Wiki all the other KHX Keyblade art has resolution at like 1000x1000 (approx)

I think the reason why a high quality version of Master Luxu's keyblade doesn't exist is because we never fight him as a boss - he only appears at a distance in the cutscene and therefore Square Enix sees no necessity to use such a high quality image on a tiny character.
