While I think that it makes a good deal of sense, I doubt that Nomura would use that as a story line device in KHDDD. I don't know for sure, of course, but that doesn't seem to be Nomura's style.

Well maybe they'll have to battle each other like aqua and terra had and that whole thing with xion and Roxas would be the incentive for Sora to battle Riku. You may be on to something here

I don't think it'll be a requirement to pass the exam, because Yen Sid wanted to test them both to prepare them for when Master Xehanort returns .. but i believe they will cross paths during this game and this would make a lot of sense if that is the case.

Nomura likes to promote the "ill do anything for my friends even die " theme so i seriously doubt this. Especially since it was to restore Sora. We know that Sora spent how long looking for Riku before finally reuniting with him and fell to his kneees crying after finally seeing him. Why would he be mad that Riku did everything he could to bring back his best friend ?..Sora also knows Nobodies arent suppose to exist in the first place no matter how sad their existence, felt or not. Besides they both technically live on still in Sora and he saw this when Roxas projected himself in the end of KH2.

even if sora falls to darkness i can never see him fighting riku again(well it was riku ansem but he thought it was riku)

Agree.

Also I don't think he will get mad because if Riku didn't discouraged Xon's and Roxa's right to exist Sora would never wake up

But i can see Sora crying saying he doesn't know if it's right for him to exist in their place, even Namine thought their memories may be enough to break his heart. I'm not saying he'd hold a grudge and attack Riku because of this, but i can see him pushing Riku away if he were to experience their feelings while Riku was near him in a confused emotional state of mind .. kind of like PMSing lol

Now i get it. But Namine said that they would damage his heart causing him sleep or something worse

I actuallu have a similar idea...i was playing bbs last night with aqua in critical cuz she was the only one i havent beaten the story with in critical.....anyway i beat the final bosses and i realized something....if xehanort is coming back then he will prolly still want to create the X-blade so my theroy is that sora will fall and summon the X-blade for xehanort after the mark of mastery and after everyone is "saved"......i just thought that up....i thought it was sort of simmilar so please tell me what u guyz think :)

it's a stretch but i can see how if Sora was in an emotional state of mind, how Xehanort could take advantage of this in an opportunity to again forge an X blade .. I mean they need something other than everyone comes back and they defeat Xehanort once and for all for KH3.

the confusion that this thread suggests may occur .. If Xehanort, Xemnas or whoever manages to take advantage of an emotionally unstable Sora, who knows what could happen.

tutti frutti. The way Sora has been developed in the series I seriously doubt that this will happen, especially the way Nomura has him. If I remember right, both Xion and Roxas seemed to want to meet/see Sora, but Riku wouldn't give out that kind of information. (More so for Sora's well being) But at the same time, when Roxas was going to take on Org. XIII he was dead set on meeting Sora, something Riku could have done easily without having to fight Roxas. Over resorting to fighting Riku could have simply asked why both Xion and Roxas wanted to see Sora and decide as to why they wanted to see him. I can definitely see Sora asking Riku what happend during that period of time, and even the memories of Xion and Roxas coming to the surface of what they went through. But I don't think that anything serious would happen as a result of that.

I doubt it, the loyalty he holds towards Riku is far greater than he would hold toward someone he barely knows. Yes he may feel their pain and see what had happend, but if he was able to not hold any grudges toward Riku for destroying their home and letting the Heartless loose, I seriously don't think he'd turn on him for something like that. It's impossible in my mind.

okay, so without spoiling, please remember that this IS sora your talking about. It would be extreamly OOc for him to attack riku, or to act with anysort of malice....

Well considering the tendencies of the crazy evil body stealing people, this could happen. I kind of want something like Vanitas taking over Sora who has to fight someone like Riku or Ventus in a future game. But for Sora in general, I don't think he would willingly turn on any of his friends...Short explanation ahead....Seriously, Riku betrayed him and attacked him in KH1 and Sora just tried to warn him and forgave him instantly after he saw his mistake, so Riku can't really do worse than that. Yeah Sora would much rather forgive everyone and save them than hold a grudge.

look at it from riku's point of view, he thought they were evil because of the cloaks they wore and he just wanted sora back. i dont think sora would get mad at riku for it at all, let alone make it more of an issue. whats done is done and now they just have to work together to beat xehanort

I don't think Riku ever though either Roxas or Xion was evil, even he and Mickey wore the cloak lol

yeah but they were undercover?

Marth

No way that would happen, sure sora would be upset with riku but NEVER hurt him since their childhood friends

Cricket

I don't think Sora will battle Riku over this. Riku was just trying to cure the "hurt" that Xion and Roxas felt. Riku is more like a guardian and he tries to make others find their way and lead them on the right path, the more Xion and Roxas were seperated from their original selves, the more they would lose their way and would feel "hurt."
