Animated short featuring Monsters, Inc. as start of video countdown to Kingdom Hearts III

Today marks another day down on Kingdom Hearts III's countdown! Each day until January 25, director Tetsuya Nomura is making an announcement. Today, he started the first out-of-house video countdown that features Monsters, Inc. It's a short animated video that shows Sully and Mike in front of the door hangers. The music playing seems to be the new Monstropolis battle theme that was originally shown in the yo-yo pre-order bonus video! He reminded everyone that he has more announcements next week. You can view the tweet, screenshots, and the animated short below!

Here's the translation of Nomura's tweet:

I wasn't expecting the cartoon-y bit. XD Then I realized that the opening of Monsters Inc. was cartoon-y. It's on point! Very cute!

Thank you for keeping us updated on this, KHWaterBlock!

I think that the idea behind the video countdown is awesome, and it just gets us even more hyped for the game as it nears release! And I love that we're getting samples of the world themes from Yoko Shimomura! I'm loving the theme for this one so far!
