Square Enix has announced Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ will be released in Japan via the Apple App Store & Google Play Store for iOS & Android devices respectively on September 3, 2015 at 12PM JST. That's September 2 at 8PM PST and 11PM EST. It will be available for download from 12AM JST for iOS & Android devices on the same day but the service will not commence until 12PM JST, 12 hours later.

 

Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ is a port of the Japan exclusive web browser game, Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] for iOS & Android devices. It is a free-to-play app with optional in-app-purchases. It has been confirmed for a release in North America.

    It probably won't. I'm expecting November at the earliest. It's just the way things go with Square.

    Ok the game will release on my Birthday wow...but i don't really understand Japanese so...

     

    (I think it will release in December here in North America but it's just me).

    we probably are, we need a kh game this year

    This. Nomura said several years ago that they were hoping for KH to be something of an annual franchise, at least until KH3 comes out. Whether you live in Japan or U.S or even other countries, they have yet to disappoint.

     

    Either way, I'll probably play the JP version myself. I feel excited.

    Thanks. I figured they were 13 hours ahead. Just the date confused me a bit. But I will check back tomorrow.
