A new trailer for Kingdom Hearts III was shown to the attendees of Kingdom Hearts Orchestra -World Tour- in Los Angeles! It featured exciting footage from the upcoming game, and concluded with a release date reveal for January 29, 2019!
 
Series director Tetsuya Nomura, who was on-stage at the concert to present the trailer, also said that more information will be coming during E3 2018.
 
Unfortunately, we have been requested to not discuss the contents of the trailer in our news articles, and there are yet no words on a public release of the footage. Keep an eye on this space for more updates on the footage when they are released to the public!

After 5 years since its announcement, the release date for Kingdom Hearts III has been revealed!
 
Kingdom Hearts III will be releasing on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on January 25, 2019, in Japan, and January 29, 2019, worldwide!
 




 
This was revealed in a new Kingdom Hearts III trailer that was shown to the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra -World Tour- attendees at the Los Angeles concert today, and on Twitter. Series director Tetsuya Nomura, who presented the trailer on stage, apologized profusely for the slight delay. He also issued the following apology on Twitter:

The Kingdom Hearts Orchestra - World Tour - Encore kicks off its 2018 season tonight! It will be premiering at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles, California, at 8pm PDT today.

Kingdom Hearts III has been announced to be a part of Youtube Live at E3, which will start from 11:45AM PDT. Kingdom Hearts III will be discussed at 7-8/4-5pm ET/PT, among other games this Sunday, June 10. No word on if new content will be shown. Youtube Live at E3 is a show dedicated to discuss news coming out of E3. Geoff Keighly will be hosting and during the hour Kingdom Hearts is slated to be discussed, he will be joined by industry analyst Michael Pachter to discuss E3 expectations.

Kaoru Wada, the composer who worked for both "Hikari - Orchestra" and "Passion - Orchestra" and also for the previous Kingdom Hearts Orchestra concerts arrangements, teased through his Facebook account that two new songs will be revealed during the performance in Los Angeles, which is also going to be the premiere of the entire tour.
 
Following, the Facebook post which Mr. Wada wrote:
 
Actually, the official list set up for the Orchestra consists in seventeen tracks, and it is still unknown if will also feature those two newly teased tracks (which are presumably also going to be part of Kingdom Hearts III).
 
We want to remember that Kingdom Hearts -World Tour- will be starting in June 9th, in Los Angeles. Here you can see all the avaiable dates.

In a tweet thanking those who attended the KH3 Premiere, @SquareEnixUSA confirmed that they will be providing fans and attendees of this years Electronic Entertainment Expo with the opportunity to play Kingdom Hearts III at their show booth!
 
E3 2018 will be held in Los Angeles, California from June 12th-14th! Square Enix hosting their own press conference June 11th at 10pm PT which will be streamed in both English and Japanese!

As fans of the Princess of Heart await her screen time, Twitter user @Roboloid has uncovered her new outfit in a data mine of an upcoming update!
 




 
Both her and Sora's Kingdom Hearts III outfits will soon be available as avatar boards in a future update!

As we near the release of Utada Hikaru's seventh album, Hatsukoi, her website has uploaded an extended look at the highly anticipated Japanese track "Chikai".
 
The song has received a 43 second sound clip that can be previewed here on her website. "Chikai" or "Oath" will be the fourth song on her new album and is noted on her site as being the theme from Kingdom Hearts III!
 
Hatsukoi will be released on June 27th, 2018 and is currently available for pre-order through CDJapan!
