Square Enix will be releasing three 15-second commercial sometime on Friday, December 21st (JST). Kingdom Hearts director Tetsuya Nomura didn't provide an exact time on his tweet back on December 7th. Please note that this could change.

This is the 2nd wave of commercials that Nomura has shown over the past week. A 30-second cinematic commercial was shown for Japanese movie theaters back on the 16th and the Final Battle trailer was revealed on the 17th. 

We will keep you updated. 

UPDATE [Dec 21, 2018]: The commercials have been released!

The commercials were privatized before being made public again due to some unintentional content present in the third commercial. As per our spoiler policy, we will not be reporting on the specifics of the removed content.

We have also included translations to Kingdom Hearts III director Tetsuya Nomura's tweets [1, 2, 3], thanks to Goldpanner.

The first commercial has been dubbed as the "Friend" version.

According to Nomura's last tweet, another promotional video for Kingdom Hearts III is planned for release! According to the wording of the tweet, it seems this will be another commercial.

UPDATE [Dec 23, 2018]: We now have translations for some new lines from the three commercials! Thanks go to KH13 Staff @Mio-chan and Solis, and @aitaikimochii, who translated the lines from "Story"!

From "Friend":

After almost thirteen years of waiting...(I know it'll technically be six since the game was announced to be in development in 2013.) we are finally at the crucial juncture, the final chapter in the Xehanort Saga. It's been an amazing ride, a truly incredible experience, and now, after all these years, to finally live this finale...it'll be something to remember! <3

    That's fine. Probably for the best if you want to be somewhat blind. I wouldn't want to spoil anyone who doesn't want to be spoiled. Official or not, Square Enix didn't want us to see it. But, unfortunately it's out their because they forgot to edit it out. I'm glad that people are manage to respect people's boundaries when it comes to spoilers too.

    Yeah, we've already had so much happening with that guy that stole the copies of the game from his manufacturing job.

    Fortunately, there haven't been any leaks involving that since. Hopefully i don't jinx it.

    True. That really sucked, but hey. We managed to band together to get through it for the most part. I'm just glad they probably caught the guy at least.

    We only have a month and a half left.  Thank goodness that Quinton Flynn told us that the thief got caught.

    Couldn't have said it better myself. I'm really psyched for this game but I'm strangely going to miss waiting with everyone and seeing everybody's reactions to the trailers

    After KH3, we still have other Kingdom Hearts to look forward to.  But I hear ya, it's going to take some adjustment to get over the hype.

    Something else wild happened this week too. The Kingdom Hearts U.S. Twitter got deleted but they came back with a header of Master Xehanort and a profile pic of Aquanort. They norted it intentionally as a PR stunt and it was really clever of them. Today is also the Winter Solstice which also marks the darkest day of the year. This explains the timing too.

    Yup, I saw that discussed on another thread.  I heard something about the previous trailer before the final one that was thirty seconds long.

    And I wonder what is up with Xehanort's Twelve Selves.   What happened to the Seekers to cause them to have pretty much helmets and the same black and red outfits on.   Is the black and red based off of Sora's clothing.   He has worn a black and red color scheme since DDD.

    Xehanort probably just wanted new outfits lol.

    Probably but they all have the same body type, the same helmet, the same clothing, and the same color scheme of black, red and I think the helmets are white or some sort of silver.

    I know. It's just some people out there didn't notice that little detail about him in the Final Battle Trailer. Would have been pretty weird if they brought him into a war like that anyways.

    It was kinda funny seeing Hercules pick up Sora and Goofy like it was nothing. In the commercial,  I mean.

    I didn't even notice Sora putting his hands behind his head like he usually does. I change my mind! That's my favorite shot from the commercials! I'm really hoping that pose in particular is one of his idle animations.
