    But if you think, Pokémon itself is now starting to suck. I don't eve like it anymore. I'm replaying Platinum for old time's sake though,

    Snivy, it has the highest speed stat among the other 2 starters, while the other atk, sp. atk, def, and sp. def are all balanced. Coil becomes useful when you want to raise it's atk, def, and accuracy, and calm mind can be taught through TM which will be useful with draining moves such as mega drain ETC.

    Technically Oshowatt is an otter, not a panda. And he would be my second choice, since Snivy is kind of a rough pokemon to have with the first few gyms.
