Shield face! You wanna wrestle?"Tay landed on Ruddy's shoulder and called into his ear, "Hey! The cavalry's here! Do you need some healing?" ~Corrin, leaving Lufenia~Corrin, now accompanied by Serena and Xion, began to run to the gateway dividing Cosmos' territory and Chaos'. As he ran, he looked to Serena, "You wouldn't by any chance know the way to Sanctuary?"~Xehanort, Garland, and Vanitas, Kefka's Tower at the Sage's Cave~Xehanort first heard the Warrior, but quickly had his attention drawn to the clown, now perched on top of one of the glass cylinders around them."What is this madness?" he said.Garland laughed, then addressed the Warrior, "Ah, my rival! Would you care to help me punish my insubordinate son?"Vanitas got up, summoned his Keyblade and stood back-to-back with Xehanort, "Master, do you think we can hold all of them off?"Xehanort called forth the Guardian and summoned his Keyblade, "Doubtful. But we must try." Xehanort stared down Garland and gave him a cocky glance, "I've been meaning to take care of you myself, old man."~Chaos, Edge of Madness~"Hmph," Chaos grunted as he stood up, now towering over Caius. "Do not forget, Caius, who summoned you here. Do not forget the power I hold. And do not forget the forces I still have." Chaos paced around Caius, "Should the traitors come to me, do you not think I hold power over them? Should they fall in battle, they will return to me. I have things well in hand, Caius." Chaos sat back down on his massive throne once more, "Go now and seek her, if you choose. She has fallen out of my sight, into the land of Cosmos. You will find her there."~Cosmos, appearing before Xathnan~"There is trouble," Cosmos said. "To the west of my Sanctuary lies a cave known as the Lifespring Grotto. One of my warriors is there, along with the woman Elsa and her child. They are in danger from the mermaids that reside there. Please..." Her form began to dissipate, "...save them."~Lightning, the Rift at the Mirage Sandsea~Lightning had been resting long enough, but her thoughts still burned inside her.Why am I even here? This was never my war.She stood up and looked around the Sandsea. To the west, she felt the massive presence of what she could only assume was Chaos. But if she were to go back...She'd have to deal with Johnny.Damn him! Why'd he think he was so important? Calling her out for battle tactics, putting her in fights she could never reasonably win, the list went on and on.Everything about that man irritated her.Damn her if she ever saw him again.

I've lived my entire life fighting wars, and I understand the concept of 'playing the field'. Whatever the case, I'm gonna hear things from our friend before I pass judgement on him."At that, a massive dark blast came from the north, harmlessly glanced off the side of a ruined building, but Johnny could just feel the influence of the darkness overtaking him. It felt remarkably similar to the duplicates the dark boy.Johnny took hold of Excalibur and began to walk towards the direction of the blast, "Anyone who can, help us fight. If not, start making your way to Sanctuary."Corrin looked as Johnny walked away and started to walk the other way towards the land of Cosmos, "I'm not risking it again. I'm heading for Cosmos."Elia decided to walk with Johnny, "You could use a healer."Johnny saw the armor and the man in rags and jumped into the fray, holding Excalibur in front of him, with Elia behind him, holding her staff.~Cosmos, appearing before Xathnan~Cosmos smiled at the boy. She could see how nervous he was, after all, he was talking to a goddess."I can see your intentions are not for violence towards me," Cosmos said, reaching her hand out to Xathnan. "I can trust you for that alone. As for my warriors, do not worry. I will take care of that." Still holding out her hand to Xathnan, her calm voice spoke once more, "Take my hand. Make things right."~Chaos, Edge of Madness~Chaos looked down upon the dragon-warrior, who had just returned from battle."And what problems would that be, Caius?" Chaos said, leaning over Caius, a twisted smile forming on his face, "You have already failed to eliminate the traitors, and now you have lost your precious bait. In fact, both warriors I sent with you have turned against me. Just how do you intend to fix that?"

So, just as a recap, Players are people in the real world who communicate to their Characters, who are AIs in the game world.Also, as long as the character has been in a video game, they're OK, right?

However, I cannot give you the light I have given my warriors. I can only welcome your help."~Xehanort, Garland and Vanitas, Kefka's Tower at the Sage's Cave~Xehanort began to feel a strange sensation coming from further down the tower. A light, a presence he'd felt before.He turned to his apprentice, "Quickly, Vanitas. Someone else is here."A voice, all too familiar with him, sounded out from behind him, "And perhaps not the one you were expecting."Xehanort quickly turned and noticed the massive figure immediately, "My master!" He dropped to his knees, trying to feign respect for Garland, "I have found my chosen rival. He will soon face the bitterness of defeat and death."Garland looked past Xehanort and saw the boy try to stand up, "And what purpose does the boy serve?"Xehanort looked up sharply, "That is...I needed his..."Garland's weapon appeared by his side, "I gave you my strength, and you repay me by betrayal? By creating a futile weapon to use against me?"Xehanort stood up and began to walk backwards towards Vanitas, "No, my master, that was not my...""Are you saying you are too weak to stand alone against your rival?" Garland began to walk towards Xehanort, putting him quickly on the defensive."No!" Xehanort shouted back to Garland. "Then why is your meager creation so weak?" Garland said, causing Xehanort to stop entirely. Xehanort thought to himself, Does he actually know what happened to Vanitas? "I do," Garland said. "You split his soul too much. With every power you give him, you put another persona in his head. Every persona wants to take control. Surely you have felt it too. When you summoned your Guardian, you felt a weight being lifted. My soul being removed from yours. But your apprentice does not have that benefit. Too many voices, and no ability to gauge his own strength." Xehanort was stunned. What was this man that had created him? How did he know so much?What on any world was this monster called Garland? ~Johnny, Corrin and Elia, the White Mage, Lufenia~Johnny noticed the warrior in the red coat approach with Link. He addressed them, having now recovered from being tackled by Pluto, "Good day to you, Genesis! Did you happen to see a girl with pink hair around here?" His attention was then quickly diverted to Mog, hearing that one of their allies had left."Magus, leaving us already?" Corrin said, now holding the letter Serena had given him. "And what girl?"Elia walked up to the two, "From what I understand, Magus cared deeply about a sister of his. He was actively looking for her, right?"Corrin nodded, "That seems to be correct."Elia continued, "It stands to reason that that girl may be his sister and that he's trying to pursue her."Corrin paused in thought, "Are you saying that Magus...""...left to chase down the dragon-warrior, who has his sister?" Johnny finished the statement."Precisely," was all Elia left the two with.Johnny turned back to Genesis, "Sorry about that. Girl with the pink hair. Does it sound familiar?"(I'm not going to say what's in the letter, since I don't know what Yessie wants it to say)

Garland looked away to the depths of the Land of Discord, looking towards the mighty throne of Chaos, "There are much larger forces at play here in this world. I would not suggest that you press these matters."With that, Garland vanished, leaving no trace that he was even there.~Elia, the White Mage, Johnny and Corrin, Lufenia~Elia, stunned by Aqua's question, tried to work things out in her head, "Garland. In my world he was sent back in time to become a god. Perhaps he used some of that power to extract some darkness from Terra's heart to give Xehanort form."Johnny addressed Ventus and Xion, but he was quickly thrown off by the dog that had jumped on him. Johnny laughed as he tried to push the dog off, "Easy, boy! Easy!" Johnny saw the girl who had approached them, who was currently apologizing for the dog. Johnny addressed her, "It's fine. He did no harm."Looking around at the rest of the battlefield, Johnny and Corrin counted heads."I'm one short," Johnny said. "Where's Lightning?"Corrin looked confused, "Who?""Lightning. Pink hair, bad attitude, hates taking responsibility for her actions. She was helping..." Johnny looked towards Mog and the mage, still battling the dragon-man. "She was supposed to help them. But where did she go?"~Xehanort and Vanitas, Kefka's Tower at the Sage's Cave~Xehanort scolded the boy as he began to regain consciousness, "You nearly cost us everything! We had that battle under control!"Vanitas clutched his chest, "I...am sorry...master." He coughed a bit, "I just...felt like...so many voices...pulling me apart..."Xehanort raised an eyebrow, "Voices?""All my powers...each has a different voice...they all want their piece...it...exhausted me..."Xehanort turned away from his apprentice, "What is going on?"

1) You contradicted Point 1 at the very end. Not have humans but insist that having them makes the story better. 2) Kingdom Hearts II didn't need Davy Jones because it wasn't telling that story (that movie also came out the same year as KH2, so it wouldn't have worked anyway.)

So, ever since I heard about Kingdom Hearts, I've wanted to have my favorite movie of all time be in the game. I've been wanting to see a world based on the Toy Story franchise, but a few things have occured to me. The logic of the Toy Story movies (going into toy-mode when humans are around, mainly) restricts things you can do with the story (no Claw Machine boss fight, you can't really do anything when humans are around). The movies have locations a bit too big for their own britches. Even the first movie has no less than six main locations (Andy's house, the Gas Station, Pizza Planet, Sid's House, the streets where the chase takes place and Andy's new house), so you'd have to figure out how to get to each place outside of the world's story. Doing just one Toy Story movie loses out on the rest of the series. Doing the first Toy Story movie as the world in a KH game means you lose characters like Jessie, Bullseye, Lotso, Bonnie, Reptilius, etc. You also lose the possibility of venturing into the world of Buzz Lightyear of Star Command. Doing the movies means that the villains of each movie (Sid, the Prospector, Zurg and Lotso) can't really be part of the Disney Villain gatherings. So here's my idea. Don't base it off the movies. Base it off Disney Infinity's Toy Story in Space playset and the playtime fantasy of Toy Story 3. The world would be two parts: the western town (Woody's Roundup) and the space portion (Toy Story in Space/Buzz Lightyear of Star Command). The western portion focuses on the characters and toys from Andy's room and Bonnie's room, while the Buzz side can have a lot more leg room with the side characters (include the characters from Buzz Lightyear of Star Command and Toy Story That Time Forgot or even the mutant toys as weird amalgam experiments). The only characters you really lose are the human characters (which isn't really a loss, considering we watch Toy Story for the toy characters). What do you think?

I saw this on Facebook and it perfectly sums up how I feel about Hydra Cap I've held off on writing this for two reasons. The first is that I was so angry at first that I could only articulate it with the word f--- in creative manners and pictures of middle fingers. The second is that I kept telling myself that I shouldn't be upset because it's just a comic book character. Except... F--- THAT, and you can change the word that to you if you're going to give me s--t for being upset. It may not be important to you but it is to me and if you feel the need to belittle me for that? Yeah, f--- you. There's this cute saying in fashion about color trends, I always go back to Josie and the Pussycats (the movie) _______ is the new black. Well right now nerd is the new black. It's hip to be square folks. Nerd is chic. That means that we don't have to hide our comic book love cause it's sexy now. Nerd is the new black so these once hidden icons belong to the world. This point will come into play again later. I don't care if you don't like Captain America. I don't care if you're Team Stark. I don't care if you think Cap's boring. Everyone loves a bad boy in their fantasy. But see, my issues here only partly stem from fantasy. Let's start at the beginning, yeah? Captain America, the man who punched Hitler, was created by two Jewish men at a time when America WOULD NOT act in WWII. This was the dream of two men who were watching their world go down the tubes, a man who would fly in the face of government and law to do the right thing. But Hail Hydra, right? It's insulting. It's offensive. Frankly, it's god damn heartbreaking. I almost didn't wear my jacket today, you know the red, white, and blue baseball jacket with the Cap shield prominently on the front? I almost switched out my Industrial barbell, you know the bright blue one with Cap's shield prominently in my ear? And then I had a Nick Fury moment. Cap is important to me personally and, I think, to America in general. Because I live in a time where it's hard to be a Patriot. I live in a world where sports icons get paid to cheat and our government harms it's people. I am living in a time where one presidential candidate is actively spewing hate for a single religious group and rocketing up fear. The other candidate, if she pulls the nomination, isn't awesome either. I live in a time of dissent and I don't want it to become a time of descent. I live in a time where my government actively harms it's people and doesn't care. It is god damn hard to be patriotic. How do you keep faith in your country when the people who run it broke faith with you? How do you keep hope when you're faced with an ocean of bulls--t? I can't always... But there's this man... He'll punch Hitler in the face when the government won't move. He'll give wise speeches about immigrants. He speaks out against hate. He tells you to plant your feet. NO. YOU MOVE. And sure, this man is fiction. This man is an icon. He is a rallying point. He is a thing that we can stand behind. He is a symbol of what America can be, and sometimes just reading those comics is enough to refresh the willpower stores so I can pick myself back up and go back to fighting for my country. No, I'm not a soldier, at least I'm not military. My battleground is politics. I sweat for what I believe and sometimes that's hard. Sometimes I just want to curl up and ignore the s---ty things people say. I want to forget that people die in this fight, that I've been physically harmed, that I have to worry about that. Sometimes I want to quit and let someone else take over. And then I read a couple comics and I take a deep breath and I get back out there. Because it's right. Captain America wasn't about Law and Order. Captain America was about Right and Wrong. Captain America was Just and Justice. But Hail Hydra, right? At a time when our country is fracturing into wildly disparate polar opposites, when nerd is the new black, Marvel took our last great Hope and destroyed him. For money. And isn't that the most heartbreaking thing ever? But Hail f---ing Hydra anyway.

The two they were fighting seemed to be using a strange kind of dark magic to fight. Perhaps they could stop this.Corrin stood up from deflecting the two duplicates and wiped his forehead. What else could the two do?Vanitas scowled as his dark duplicates were destroyed one after another. In a fury, Vanitas started to swing his blade rapidly, sending out energy blasts.But something peculiar began to happen...As Vanitas attacked, he began to feel more and more tired. His strength began to fail.One last swing and Vanitas collapsed.Xehanort cursed as he picked up the boy, "Damn. The boy has given too much in one go. This must be remedied." Xehanort looked up to the warriors around him and said, "This is not over yet, warriors. Our war has just begun!" With that, Xehanort and Vanitas vanished into the darkness, and the warriors were alone in Lufenia.Johnny looked around at the group and smiled, "Man, Xehanort really doesn't like finishing fights!" Johnny looked to the ones that didn't come from his group (current in his area, Corrin, Ven and Xion, if I'm not mistaken) and went to introduce himself, "Name's Johnny. You must be the traitors."Corrin smiled, letting out a small chuckle, "I guess one could say that, yes. I am Corrin."~Xehanort, Kefka's Tower at the Sage's Cave~Xehanort reappeared in a structure made of metal and magic, cursing the boy once again."How feeble are you? You didn't even last the entire battle. What purpose do you have to assist me when you cannot last in battle?"Xehanort sighed, "But of course. Perhaps you need time to recover like the rest. Being made of four people does take its toll, I'd imagine. But when you awaken, we will wage battle once again."

This is pretty much why I hate this new twist. Cap has always fought Hydra, the Red Skull and Baron Zemo at every turn. He's been on the front lines against Hydra for years. And somehow he's been one of their's since the beginning? It's so out of character.They can at least fix this one way. They just need to say, "Yeah, Cap's been on Hydra's side for years. But guess what? He was a double agent the entire time. He's been playing chess within the system since the beginning. He's planning something big to stop Hydra forever."Unless they do that, it's out of character and just wrong. Nope. This is Earth-616. The main comic continuity, that started with the Stan Lee comics in the 1960's.

Not sure if it does. I haven't been good about keeping up with it. It sure wouldn't make any sense in the movies.
