  1. No Malekith? No Ronan? Your list is good, but I'd definitely sub out Killmonger and Ultron for Ronan and Malekith respectively.
  2. Here's my breakdown of issues with these items: Vulnerary (Fire Emblem): No issue other than making the Maxim Tomato useless. Beast Ball (Pokémon Gen VII): So it's the Master Ball? Just for Ultra Beasts? Ok. Invincible Candy (Kirby): Game-breaking. Invincibility is one thing. Increasing attack parameters is another. Making them both happen is a BAD idea for the sake of balance. Phoenix Down (Final Fantasy): Game-breaking. Also, the Flag does something similar (giving an extra stock/point). Electric Shield (Sonic the Hedgehog): Not nearly enough electrical attacks in game to make that a worthwhile feature. Hookshot: Game breaking. Besides, some characters already have tethers. Not every character needs one. Blooper (Super Mario): Does it slow down just movement, or attack speed as well? Decreasing attack speed and movement speed could be an issue. Power Glove (Original): Not every character uses punching attacks (Marth, Roy, Lucina, Corrin, Cloud come to mind). This item could be useless for those characters. Toothbrush* (Original): Game-breaking. The fair thing about launches in SSB is that they're entirely decided by damage %. Large Soda Bottle (Original): No problem. Probably the best item idea you had.
  3. I don't think you could use actual characters for your avatar in the Oasis (at least in the book, anyway). You were forced to make a custom avatar for the Oasis.
  4. This feels like really bad fanfiction for many reasons, most of which being how characters are acting according to you. Wade learned to accept the world outside the Oasis at the end, Ogden Morrow was always on the side of the Oasis, and Halliday doubtfully would have put two Easter Eggs to find in, considering he was only counting on the actual Egg to begin with.
  5. Get yourself some ribbons!
  6. I highly doubt it. No other Disney TV property has appearing in Kingdom Hearts, and I doubt they'd start with a much more obscure show than Ducktales, Kim Possible, or Gargoyles. Also, I don't know of anyone who's been wanting to see a world based on Pucca. Square would have to be pretty desperate for worlds to use if they were going to use that.
  7. I'm gonna say no. Dr. Mario plays just fine as is, and I like the fact that Dr. Mario plays like Melee Mario. If Sakurai decides to fix Mario and take away the totally useless Down Special FLUDD, I'd consider changing up Dr. Mario.
  8. I seriously need someone to constantly bother me to write my book. I'm in such a rut right now.
  9. Nomura has stated in interviews that Sora sees Vanitas because Ventus' heart is reacting to Young Xehanort. We also know for a fact that Vanitas is the extracted darkness from Ventus' heart and not Xehanort. Moreover, Vanitas didn't exactly need to join in during the battle in the White Room. Ansem and Xemnas were taking care of Riku and Mickey, and Lea was intercepted by Saix. By the time Donald and Goofy show up, the Xehanorts start to fade back to their respective time periods, so Vanitas doesn't need to act at all there.
  10. It's really bad that the $60 console game is worse than the Free-to-play mobile game.

  12. Yep, but Seymour had a much more personal connection to Yuna than he did to Tidus. Dissidia actually made me think that Gabranth had a huge role in XII. Gabranth does appear throughout XII, but he's not as major of a player to the plot as Vayne or Doctor Cid.
  13. Zack was hardly in the original FF7. In fact, a majority of his screen time is a miss-able cutscene. Zack would definitely just be representing Crisis Core. Vincent Valentine was also an optional party member, so he'd represent Dirge of Cerberus. As for Caius, the argument I come to is that he is much more connected to Lightning than either Cid or Dysley. Caius is a big deal to Lightning in the XIII-verse, while I can't really recall any personal stakes when it comes to the conflict between Lightning and Cid Raines or Lightning and Dysley.
  14. I seriously want Gabranth back. I can't believe he was missing from launch. For XIII, I'd say Cid Raines or Caius. Tactics should get Delita or Ultima. I don't know who should represent Type-0.
  15. Another thing you have to take into account is how fun/different the character would be to play. To me, Ansem and Xemnas would both have rather different playstyles in Dissidia, just based on how they play. Master Xehanort, to me, would probably play like Emperor Mateus. One other thing is character relationships. Seymour, being the main antagonist of FFX, was originally going to be the villain of FFX in the first Dissidia, but was declined in favor of Jecht, who had a more personal connection to Tidus. Sora has never met Master Xehanort. Sora has no real idea what Master Xehanort has done. Thus far, he has no personal stake/conflict with Master Xehanort. Xemnas, however, has a huge relationship with Sora. From KH2 to DDD, Xemnas has consistently been there to oppose Sora, whether it be forcing him to defeat Heartless or causing him to question his own existence. Also, picking Xemnas instead of Xehanort is not, in your own words, "picking someone over the EXACT SAME GUY". If anything, Kingdom Hearts as a series has consistently presented that people who are directly related to each other (Sora/Roxas, Roxas/Xion, Ventus/Vanitas, Sora/Ventus) are equally as different and unique as they are the same.
  16. I totally agree. The plot moves a lot better in Opera than it ever did in Unchained. The fact that the game keeps handing you healthy amounts of gems and gil helps to give a better sense of achievement and progress, and you're never really stuck.
  17. I'm honestly surprised how much better of a game Opera Omnia is than NT. The story so far is better (I've gotten stuck at the summon battles in NT, it's so horrible), the RP elements are great, and the battle system works surprisingly well in a full RPG setting. Honestly, it's shameful that a free-to-play mobile game is leagues better than the $60 console game.
  18. I think that Caddicarus had the best example of a fan-made roster for anything. Here's some specific points that I really appreciated from his list that I think would work really well for presenting a roster. 1) Talk or use a voice synthesizer. Text kills a video, and no one clicks onto a video to read. I click on videos and tend to click away. 2) If you set up rules, follow them and make no exceptions. 3) Give specific reasons for every pick. If it's a game like Dissidia or Smash, then try to develop how that character would play. If you're thinking more WWE games, then I don't feel the gameplay aspect is necessary. 4) Don't be afraid to say that someone should have to be unlocked to play. 5) If you're developing a full roster, do state who you're bringing back or who you're leaving out.
  19. In terms of plot, Xemnas. He's been a bigger presence against Sora than Ansem. In terms of franchise, Ansem. He's a reoccurring antagonist, as well as the first one of the series. I guess it mostly depends on which version of Sora is chosen to represent Kingdom Hearts. If they go with the KH1 version, then Ansem. If KH2, then Xemnas.
  20. I just started playing it, but I feel it's better than NT so far.
  21. I agree with a bunch of stuff in that video. Dissidia and Duodecim both felt like games you needed skill with to play properly. NT feels like you just need to be cheap. I can't tell you how many times I'm in the middle of an attack and I either get hit from the side, or the game just feels the need to disrupt my attack. It's particularly egregious with Kain, as one of his attacks can just never get the last hit in. I hate the summons in NT, because it just feels like when you call your summon, it does nothing, but when your opponent calls theirs, it destroys your team and makes winning all the more difficult. I also hate the rewards system in NT, just because of how unrewarding it is. I've only gotten three alternate skins out of the ten or so treasures I've found, and they're all recolors. And the rate at which you earn gil is too darn slow. I'm honestly surprised the game lasted as long as it did overseas, because it's a broken mess that really destroys the foundations built by the PSP games.
  22. Highly doubtful. If they had gotten any of the actors from Pirates in to do facial scan, they might as well have just recorded the voices. Moreover, there's a lot of inconsistencies between the faces of those actors to the models in KH2. Jack Sparrow, for example, has a wider face in KH2 than Johnny Depp has. They also wouldn't have gotten the three pirates in to do something so incredibly small. Also, in terms of tonly Bruce would have gotten the face-map (Sark doesn't have a high detail model for his face), and he was definitely too old to look like Tron.
  23. 358/2 has an actual meaning. 358 stands for the number of days Roxas spent as a member of Organization XIII. 2 stands for the two people the story revolves around: Roxas and Xion. There's your answer. 358 days following two people. BTW, your math sounds more like complete troll logic.
