  1. Nope, I was able to destroy it without even touching a flower. I think I remember in the original, it said that the color tells you if heartless are near by? I don't know, but if that's the case then it's kinda dumb.
  2. It's not really too much of a secret, but after you defeat Genie Jafar, you can go back to where you fought the pot spider and see something that's kinda mind scarring....
  3. The guy who posted that video has an awesome voice, but I just can't watch anything that has to do with surgery even IF it's fake...it just gives me the hebeejebees...
  4. So long as things haven't changed in the final mix (which I believe they haven't), then there are 3 different doors that get you onto the hedges. Though from the sound of things, you probably have high jump by now and I think that can get you up onto the hedges, never the less, here are the doors (You may know them, but I figured I'd inform you of them anyways): The first can be found in the woods just out side of the Queen's Castle. To your left is a pond that has no actual depth, merely just a part of the ground. There may be a fairly large rock sitting just in front of it. If so, then you need to go to the yellow flower right next to the lake and give it a potion. It will make you bigger, and from there you can push the rock into the lake if you walk up to it. This will make some lily pads rise up, allowing you to access a blocked room. There will be an entrance into the Queen's Castle that should allow you to get 1 of the chests. The second can be found in the many layers of the Bizarre Room, specifically in the room where you are on the wall of the fire place. On one side of the fire place is a faucet. You can approach it and make Sora turn the nozzle, causing water to flow out and fill a pot. If you jump inside that pot, it will take you to the second chest. The third chest can be accessed from the roof of the Bizarre Room. To get there, you need to go to the end of the forest and into the house in the Tea Party Garden (Alternatively, you can walk through the entrance hidden behind the clock in the the right-side up Bizarre Room.) Just past the lamps hanging from the ceiling, there is a large hatch you can open and walk through which will take you to the third chest. You may want to check some more sneaky areas if those 3 locations don't work for you. Just remember the area you need glide to get to in the forest which will take you to the top of the hedges in the Tea Party Garden. Remember that the pink bells will give you a treasure chest if you use thunder on them (though I'm uncertain if any have dalmatians). If this doesn't help, perhaps you can look up a guide on finding them all if you need to. Hopefully this helps.
  5. Rock Titan in the Hades Cup seems like he'd be an easy 5000 exp, but I don't know if it's a good idea to farm the last 10 matches in that cup (I also don't know if things have changed in that such as how much exp he gives)
  6. Gah, I wish I had the focus to make this thread, but it's so long and I'm too lazy ._.
  7. It seems cool, but it's not really something I'm especially interested in owning. Besides, I don't even own a PS3 at the moment so even if I did preorder it, I'd have to wait a while before playing it.
  8. I know I've pretty much been a noob the entire time I've been on this site, but I miss the earlier days here.
  9. Riku was 'swallowed' by the darkness because he opened himself up to it. Through is desire to see other worlds, he must have been willing to do anything to do so, even if it meant turning to the darkness. The Keyblade, originally meant for Riku, made it's way to Sora instead due to Riku's choice. His pursuit of darkness inevitably made his heart weaker than Sora's. As for why he succumbed so easily, I'm not entirely sure. As Riku didn't actually meet Ansem SoD until near the end of the destruction of Destiny Islands (At least that's what I assume, as all evidence proves that Ansem SoD probably didn't show up/make himself known on Destiny Islands until he spoke with Sora), I would imagine Riku couldn't have been manipulated by him just yet. Perhaps Riku had his own "Dive into heart", and maybe he learned more things after that? I'm just wildly guessing here, so I'm probably wrong.
  10. Well, KH1 doesn't have an official Magic stat. But apparently it's determined by your total MP, or that's what I read. Enemies also have some sort of resistance factor for each type of magic, so that affects damage too.
  11. Well, I know you get one more MP, but to be honest, I've never really known what influences how much damage you deal with magic if it's controlled by some sort of stat. I think I'm actually going to look that up.
  12. Rinzler Recompiled and The Dread of Night are by far my favorite tracks in the game. Not to say that there aren't other tracks I enjoy a great deal, but those two stand out in my mind
  13. @Vexoria: I actually tend to choose the shield too. I find having guard can be quite helpful against enemies where it's hard to counter attack correctly. The defense is also a nice bonus. @Snow: Sounds interesting, good luck with that! @TheTimidLight: The weapons at the beginning affect your stats and when you get abilities. I don't know if the staff affects magic much, but it does pertain to AP. You can always look up the stats you get from what you choose
  14. Well, I'm sure that when Vanitas stated he could use Aqua as a backup, he was referring to his initial intentions with Ventus (Forging with him to make the X-Blade). I imagine it was from a fact that Aqua had a very strong light (If that's a good way of phrasing it), so she could viably forge the X-Blade if she and he clashed. As for your theory with Vanitas...well, doing something to Riku, it actually seems somewhat plausible. It would certainly explain why Riku's dark outfit bears such resemblance to Vanitas's, though it might also have to do with Ansem SoD, considering he was the one who pushed Riku down his dark path for a good deal of the way. That would explain the outfit and the fighting stance. As for Ventus, you have to remember, he wasn't willing to be manipulated into exploiting darkness. The cutscene revealing Vanitas's creation clearly shows that, so it wouldn't be logical that he would possess an outfit like that.
  15. So..Apparently picking the Sword in KH1 makes things a lot more intense in terms of damage...I've died like, around 20 times already ._. Though I'm playing Expert/Slow leveling start, so that might be why. Blegh.
  16. Magic is your friend against these guys. Fire makes them prancing fools. Thunder (Strangely enough) slows them down, I suppose. Blizzard freezes them, naturally. Try to keep them in the moon light then use this to your advantage. It might be wise to grind if you are underneath the world's recommended level. I haven't played KH2 in a while, so I honestly don't have any other tips aside from those. Good luck!
  17. @Ducky: I suppose, though I don't understand how that could be mistaken in something outside of a forum game. Also, if they were directing something at another responder, wouldn't they just quote them? I'm too anal about the silliest things @Dracozombie: True, I thought about that too, but I'd think that the OP would check their threads occasionally to see if anyone's posted. At least that's what I tend to do, so I guess others might not be the same.
  18. Here's a question: Why do people feel the need to quote the original poster in a thread? Do they think people aren't going to know what they're responding to or something? *smh*
  19. Just got a job about a month or so ago. It can get tough, but it's nice to know I have a way of earning some money.
  20. I remember making a thread about this a long time ago, and it seems it no longer exists. Probably due to the site update or something. But when I made it, I literally tested EVERY combination. I had a set order for how I asked and gave each listed answer a number. I remember there were one or two results that didn't really make sense (As I imagined that if there was something like answers 123, it would result in even leveling, and a majority like 223 would result in the middle set being picked.), but some of them didn't match with what I expected. It really took a while, I remember that much. I believe there were 27 combinations in total (Simple math, 3 different questions with 3 options, thus 3*3*3. I know, math is over rated.) Eh, I don't think I've ever answered the questions to my actual liking for a while now. It's a nice little tidbit to know that you can affect how you level. It can certainly add for some interesting challenges.
  21. Hahaha...Organization xii...
  22. Yep, I've had mine for close to a year now.
