I know right?! He's like impossible! I can beat anything else in the game pretty easily, and yet despite him using the same moves in random order, I find him impossible!

True, it is getting annoying. And the manga hasn't really gone much anywhere since the arc saga aside from getting Kanda's story, so maybe the Anime will start up again once it gets back on track. We can only hope! And maybe Hoshino will finally figure out where the heck she is going with this.
