  1. Well You pair two units up and after a few battles and going through their Supports you get to the S-Rank support, and then they're married and have a kid or something. Dating's different for each person. As I've said, understanding one's boundaries and wants from a relationship helps wonders. Most of all, be yourself. You've gotten this far from being you, so keep doing that!
  2. Kaden is the best husbando in any Fire Emblem game ever and there's nothing you can do to say otherwise
  3. FROM MY POINT OF VIEW THE JEDI ARE EVIL
  4. So I've done a bit more than five hours of Birthright so far, so i thought I might try and give a review of my experience with the game so far. Now, I have not played Conquest, and now only parts of what it involves, but I will still likely compare Birthright with Conquest based on what I DO know. Essentially, Fire Emblem Fates is the latest addition to the Fire Emblem series, following Awakening's commercial success and intense popularity world-wide, most especially America. This time, however, Fates is split up into two games: Birthright and Conquest. The story behind each is that you are a Hosidan noble (think Japanese royalty) that was taken in by the Nohr royalty (think British feudal lords) at a young age. Each game serves as a "fate" for you; do you go with your blood family, your birthright, or do you go with your adopted family, the one on the conquest? The choice you make defines the game you play, so if you buy Conquest, you'll need to buy Birthright (as half-off DLC) if you wish to play the other storyline. Birthright is designed to be the easier of the two games, which is something much needed for a gal like me, who absolutely sucks at tactical RPGs. Hence why I chose it, and not Conquest, which is designed for the veterans amongst veterans. Graphics and combat are similar to Awakening, though I feel that in Fates, going from your overhead view to combat is a bit quicker, and creates a fluid motion of zooming in and out. I wish the maps were a bit more variable though, as generally they're flat, with the general objective being "rout the enemy". Still, Fates looks amazing, with the combat animations still looking as stellar as ever, and those gorgeous 3D-rendered cutscenes coming back in all their beauty. The sound design, in particular, is pretty fantastic. Birthright features a ton of Japanese-inspired tunes, all of which I find to be quite stellar in their own right. It's so great to hear a soft theme as you guide your units along in battle, only for it to kick up into a proper battle theme once you attack an enemy. I won't go too much into the story, but so far I've found it to be fairly decent, with the dialogue as fantastic as ever. There might not be a Frederick to serve at Chrom's every whim, but there's definitely some good replacements in this game. Naturally, and speaking of some characters, Supports come back even stronger this time, with new ways for units to support one another, and of course, the children units have been added. The implementation is fairly poor story-wise, but I'm still happy to have a Kistune daughter along with a Kitsune husband. The greatest addition, likely, has to be the "My Castle" feature; the general world hub that you can upgrade as you go about your battles, which serves as your place to purchase new items, chat with your allies, and interact with other players via Streetpass and Spotpass. I've enjoyed it, as it's the center for more dialogue and condenses all the shops into one place. As someone whose never been a huge fan of tactical-RPGs, I've had a blast with Birthright. I'm enjoying it a bit more than Awakening, partly due to lesser difficulty, but moreso due to how much more involved I feel with the world. There feels like there's so much more to do, especially as DLC comes out and the final path, Revelations, comes out next months. If you're not exactly a great tactician, or just want to romance your waifus and experience the story, Birthright is best for you. Otherwise, if you want more difficulty, map variety, and a greater challenge, go with Conquest.

  18. "Mhm," Lanife grunted in response. That was an interesting match....and she was still pissed at this girl. Trying to kill herself, for real and for tricks, that was something that Lanife wouldn't let go of fairly easily. The audience seemed fairly stunned at the match, and the announcer was having trouble telling them the results of their match. great...it would probably end in disqualification or a tie.
  19. She's doing it again... Lanife told herself, as she lifted a palm, a weak palm, to stop the girl. I don't have the energy, I can't do it.. Hey. What the hell do you think you're doing, Lanife? His voice rang true, straight through her heart, and she realized she did have the energy. She hadn't allowed herself to give up yet, so why was she doing it now? Giving up...that's not how Lanife Leon did things! Lanife balled up her palm into a fist, her whole hand shaking before she opened her palm up and openly slapped Yuuki across the cheek. "Idiot...kid.."
  20. The beam shot out, and Lanife was beaten down by the fire. She began to crumple down, knowing she was done for as she watched Yuuki fall towards her. "Can't..." Lanife whispered before falling onto her back. She raised her rifle one last time, and with what little strength she had, she replaced the cartridge with a blue one before firing the trigger to cause a jet of water to burst out and calm the fire that raged on Yuuki's body. "Gotcha." Lanife murmured, smirking to herself, before opening her arms up, letting Yuuki fall down onto her.
  21. "How dare you," Lanife hissed, her sniper rifle appearing once more. Sure, the lazers were blasting through her, tearing her skin open and tearing her clothes to shreds, but she was pissed, and she not going to let some kid just get away with doing that to her. Lanife slapped the energy-clip back into her weapon, and held her trigger for as long as she could. She had mere seconds left, as the light beams beat through her body. "Wolfe: Cerberus' Howl." She hissed, releasing the trigger, and her rifle emitted a beam unlike any other. Were they going too far for a small, hometown match? Absolutely. Lanife knew that after this, she would have to scram. She was drawing too much attention, and if Yuuki made it through this, she'd forfeit the match. Her rifle hummed and shook, almost tearing itself at the subatomic level as it emitted the beam. Can't keep it on, She knew too well, Idiot kid...
  22. Lanife was dashing forward now, handgun in her palm as her rifle clattered to the ground. She dashed up to Yuuki and pulled the Keyblade back out with all her might, all while keeping a firm grip on her own weapon. She couldn't let her guard down, not for a second, but she wasn't going to let this kid kill themselves. "Idiot," Lanife snapped, "Idiot! Idiot! What are you thinking?!" No sane person would attempt this. Lanife knew that well, but the blood, she could see it fall. She could see him, his body dissipating into dust as he used his life to keep things together, and save the few that he could.
  23. Hey Lanife, don't hate me, alright? I have to do this...for the good of everyone. Lanife blinked as Yuuki prepared to seemingly end her own life. All Lanife could see was her friend, him, standing there with that damn sword in his hand, ready to sacrifice himself to save her, and the rest of their friends, as well as many people as he could. "Don't you dare," Lanife hissed, dropping the energy-clip and replacing it with the standard bullets. She pulled back the receiver and took aim not at Yuuki, but her Keyblade. "Don't you dare kill yourself!" Lanife shouted, the first real words she had spoken to anyone in days, before firing her weapon. She was going to knock that Keyblade away, and stop this girl. She would stop anyone, everyone, who would try to end their life. ((All of this is based on an actual story I'm writing, so I apologize if things come out of left field, it's based off of my own plot.))
