  1. Really? I know the length of 0.2 will be that of one world in KH3, but I wasn't aware of multiple Disney worlds in 0.2. Well cool.
  2. Interestingly he mentions that multiple Disney worlds are engulfed in darkness and they have her "travel around". Does this imply 0.2 will have more than just Castle of Dreams? Hmm.
  3. We've had these in Europe for some time now. I picked up Red Team, but haven't had a chance to play it yet as I'm still neck deep in Xenoblade X. While I do think it's inevitable for Gold/Silver/Crystal to hit the 3DS I wonder if it'd be all that worth it... After playing the remakes I'd find it extremely tough to go back to the Gen II versions, but as the remakes aren't readily available any more a VC port of GSC would be definitely ideal for many people. Although, now I realise that Gen II ports would greatly benefit from Pokemon Bank. Much like the Virtual Console as a whole, I'm disappointed with the Pokemon games we have gotten. Not sure if America have it, but here in Europe we have that Pikachu Poké Park thing, like that's barely a game They seemed shocked then when RBY did well on the 3DS...
  4. Aqua. Though I guess the story too.
  5. I'm not really that fazed by the difference between the Japanese and North American release. I don't believe it will be same day release. Looking at examples like Final Fantasy Type-0 HD and World of Final Fantasy, I'd expect SE to simply release the game a few days apart in each region. No doubt Europe will get it last though.
  6. The first Toy Story is not just my favourite Pixar film, but it's my favourite film ever. It's a film that I've absolutely loved growing up on and that isn't going to change any time soon. However, I have to give special nods to both Wall-e and Inside Out. Wall-e is a masterpiece from start to finish and a film I sometimes throw on just to feel better.
  7. A part of me reckons the combat system will be better executed in the final release. I found it a little hard to get into in both demos, but that was because I wasn't starting the game from the beginning and I didn't really have a say for customising it. It'll be a clean slate in the final release and I remember reading that there will be some type of skill tree for characters so I reckon you'll be able to tweak MP and all that. I understand the criticisms of the battle system, it was one of the main reasons why I didn't finish Episode Duscae until they updated the demo and fixed it, but I do think elements of the game shouldn't be so harshly judged until the game comes out in September. This goes double for the people who are avoiding the game because "the story isn't good and the main characters are emo" like these aren't valid complaints as the game isn't out. Of course you can say that things just don't appeal to you, you obviously have concerns with the battle system and that is fine, but I do think the turn based crowd you mention are hating the game based on seeing and not playing. The Wait Mode video I linked wasn't a way of trying to say "now it's just like turn based!!" like the comments say, it was rather me just saying how there are different ways to approach the combat. I do think the Stasis that Noctis can get when his MP drains is absolutely stupid, but my hope is that the more you progress in the game you're MP will increase to the point where Stasis will never be an issue unless you are spamming a lot. That's just me trying to be positive about it all though, I have my worries, but I'll just have to see when the game comes out.
  8. I'm not trying to change your opinion on the game or anything, but in regards to your first post about the combat being too fast/hectic I think you should give this video a watch. They've added a feature that is similar to Mass Effect and Dragon Age where you can pause the gameplay mid combat and make moves more carefully. It's not a solution or feature that everyone will jump onto, but I thought I'd share it as nobody seems to have mentioned it in this thread (though forgive me if it was as I skimmed most of the friendly arguing on page 2). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lp6_prJYhQc It probably won't change your opinion on the game and like I said I'm not trying to make you buy it, but I thought I'd share the video to give you a glimpse of other options players will have in the combat. This Wait Mode is described to make stratagizing in combat a little easier for people. I've already got FFXV on pre-order, but I definitely am looking forward to NieR Automata as well!
  9. Easily one of the games I'm most looking forward to. So excited! It feels like forever since we had a great Spiderman game so I'm really hoping Insomniac deliver. If the world is as open as I remember Ultimate Spiderman on the PS2 being then I'm definitely very hyped.
  10. Well, I had my Facebook linked to it and I saw on the Play Store that the app was visible and it said "Uninstall" or "Open" as I had the apk on my phone. I simply booted up the game and it loaded my save like normal. However I hit the Facebook button on the Home screen and it simply re-connected to Facebook and didn't change anything. If you didn't have a Facebook linked to it then it probably would still load the save any ways, as the data is probably in the games files, but I cannot confirm this sorry
  11. I'd be buying it just add to the collection to be honest. I just completed BbS in 2.5 and I'm burnt out on the remasters. I have zero desire to replay them again any time soon, but I know a lot of other people want them though. Not sure about putting 1.5 and 2.5 on the Xbox One though... They'd have to change a number of the graphics to do with button prompts and what not and it seems pointless. The fact that 2.8 isn't on the Xbox One and doesn't even use the touch pad like we all thought it would pretty much sums up that the team are putting KH3 on the Xbox One because of the higher ups at Square Enix want to maximise profits on a big title. I think asking for 1.5, 2.5 and 2.8 is a lost cause at this rate for Xbox players.
  12. I don't normally spend jewels at all so I said why not for this medal event.. Is that Sora and Pals one rare?
  13. I can confirm a few things regarding the release on the European Google Play Store.. - it's literally the same APK as the NA version - Already has over a million downloads on the store despite being available for less than an hour (no doubt because it's the NA version) - The game is only available in English Booting up the game confirms that my save from the NA version is intact (not surprising) so that's good. Also all quests (story, events, specials, raids and the coliseum) are 1 AP until the 26th June so this will definitely give me more of an incentive to catch up to the current story chapter. Considering the game is only available in English then there was zero reason to release it later than North America. We literally just got duped as per usual.
  14. I don't really like ranking the KH games, but sure why not. I won't include Unchained x though. 7th - 358/2 Days. I originally liked this game when it came out, but as time went on I saw the flaws in both combat and story. I really like Roxas as a character and I'm glad that the cinematics in 1.5 showed us more of him with voice acting, but I dunno something about it just doesn't click with me any more as a game. 6th - Re:coded. Ok so, it's easily one of the most hated on games in the series, but in my opinion it does a lot of neat things. The story is utter nonsense and the cinematics (while kinda cool) were really dragged out in 2.5. The Command Deck system in Re:coded was improved over Birth by Sleep and in a lot of ways it's actually the DS hardware that compromises Re:coded I feel. I liked the changing gameplay from time to time and the Matrix system was definitely better than the Panel system in Days. Part of what lets Re:coded down is the repetitiveness after Data Sora gets rebooted, going into Data Riku and the entire Castle Oblivion part is so so tedious from a gameplay, pacing and story point of view. 5th - Dream Drop Distance. Honestly I don't even hate the story in this one. So many others loathe the game for having essentially ruined the story with time travel and all this other mumbo jumbo, but I'm willing to give the game a chance until KH3 comes out to redeem itself in terms of a set up game. Flowmotion was broken sure and we've all heard how Balloon made the command deck irrelevant, but when I played the game I never knew of these exploits. I never spammed Flowmotion nor did I even use Balloon. The game is flashy sure, but it's not terrible by any means. Another gripe I have (and this could be to do with the whole sleeping world thing) is that worlds felt far too empty. I think it's a damn fine 3DS game though. Visually it still remains one of the best 3DS games on the system. From the early footage of the HD version, it looks great on PS4 any ways and 60fps? That would be really cool! Bonus Point: It's opening cinematic is up there with one of the best in the series! 4th - Kingdom Hearts. I like the first game, but I don't like it as much as some others do. The platforming is really clunky and I don't feel the game hasn't aged particularly well when you see what came after it. The story does its job, but it's not groundbreaking. The controls, low camera and unintuitive menus make this game frustrating to play at times. Yet, I still don't hate it. The game sets out to do what it was supposed to and we owe its success to the reason why this series is even still relevant. 3rd - Chain of Memories. The GBA game not Re:CoM. I really dislike the remake. Chain of Memories is a criminally underrated game in the series. From excellent gameplay both in its cards system and intriguing world design, beautiful sprites and visuals in general, and intriguing characters and story I genuinely feel CoM is one of the better Kingdom Hearts games out there. Sure much of its worlds are rehashes of what was in the first KH game, but it's understandable why that is. The introduction to the Organisation and the overlapping storylines as Sora and Riku were great additions to the story. The card based battle system is a very interesting battle system and I simply loved customising decks for a number of strategies and combos. It's one of the few titles and instances in the series where you simply cannot hack away at the A button and expect to win. I have a gripe about having to actually gather the EXP when you defeat enemies, but having to manage bonuses when you eventually level up was very interesting, "should I go for a new sleight or some more HP?" definitely added a new dynamic to the game. 2nd - Birth by Sleep. There's not a lot about BbS that I dislike. I definitely much prefer the HD Final Mix than its PSP counterpart though. I'm not going to write up a paragraph as long as the CoM one as to why I like BbS, but I do think the story is the best part. I really love Aqua as a character, so I'm trying not to let that bias sway my opinion of the game. It has faults. Particularly with commands being incredibly exploitable. Load times were far too frequent, worlds were incredibly void of NPCs or any life unlike what we were used to in KH1 and KH2. Certain characters were downright terrible *cough* Terra *cough* and playing through the game essentially 3 times was a little bit of a drag at times. 1st - Kingdom Hearts II. It's a popular opinion and honestly I don't care. I like a lot of things in Kingdom Hearts II and it's the only game in the series where I don't mind playing through it countless times. The game is a vast improvement over KH1 in terms of gameplay and visuals. The story isn't as simplistic as KH1's nor is the prologue as Roxas incredibly interesting either, but it excels at giving us a better action game than the first and I think its Final Mix version offers a lot of great content too. It's unfortunate that the game has a few technical issues in 2.5, but it still looks and plays great.
  15. There was no Kingdom Hearts, but I never expected there to be. We'll get more announcements later this year, Square Enix told us this. Sony had a great conference with or without Kingdom Hearts, imo.
  16. That article is from a few months back. Currently Dontnod are working on a title called Vampyr which is due out next year, so my guess is Life is Strange Season 2 won't come until sometime after that comes out. I can't wait for season 2 though, loved Life is Strange.

The teaser trailer was good, watched it on Facebook. I'm excited for Moana and I can't wait till it releases here in December.
  18. I will always prefer Windows 7, but after tolerating 8.1 and then accidentally upgrading to 10 I think it's a solid OS. However, I strongly dislike the automatic updates. An update a few months back broke the OS on my laptop and it refused to boot up. The only solution was to replace the HDD (which is a pain on a laptop). Since I've replaced the HDD the laptop has worked fine with Windows 10, but I do think Microsoft shouldn't force updates on people because there's no guarantee that the updates will work how they are intended to. Overall though, Windows 10 is very fast and it fixes a number of issues I had with Windows 8/8.1.
  19. Sony. I'm interested to see what the others offer, but as a PS4 owner I have to say Sony all the way.
  20. I loved it. Though I'm biased because Aqua is the best.
  21. It's certainly a far more optimistic approach by SE that's for sure. I wouldn't say it almost guarantees a worldwide release date for KH3, but given the hype and huge fanbase for the series outside of Japan then it'd be silly for SE to release KH3 a good bit ahead of other territories. Also encouraging signs include Kingdom Hearts III's large presence at E3 over the years and that the trailers have been dubbed in English. We also have seen closer release dates for upcoming titles like Final Fantasy XV and World of Final Fantasy. I can't see 2.8 or KH3 having same day release in all territories, but same general release window is definitely a reality.
  22. It might not be a huge deal for some, but after replaying Birth by Sleep in 2.5 I'm really worried about who is going to replace Leonard Nimoy as Master Xehanort. Nimoy was so good as him and I'm really going to miss him for Kingdom Hearts III. I hope whoever gets cast as him does the role justice and respects what Nimoy did with it. Also gonna +1 Col.Random in saying Aqua definitely needs some decent screentime.
  23. I know the story isn't completed which is why I am giving it the benefit of doubt at the moment, but in terms of pacing I think the time in the Disney worlds just isn't interesting compared to other titles in the series. The actual story that people want (the Daybreak Town stuff) feels really thin right now in the game. I'm hoping that Back Cover will be enough to cover the x story for Kingdom Hearts III.
