My guess is it's going to be Xehanort and the prophecy is made from MoM's eye in the keyblade, then time travel is used to create the book.

I'm not saying it had to be a full game, even though $60 is a bit rough for like 2-3 hours of new content. I was just hoping the plot would be more in the present instead of giving us events that lead into kh1. Like all we learned outside of the endings was that aqua was lonely and mickey found aqua only to get his shirt ripped off.

yea, but most the minor questions didn't really need answers to them, i thought we'd get a look at what aqua was doing more recently instead of up until the end of kh1. the back cover was pretty bad with leaving a lot more questions, but maybe they are adding that stuff into X or whatever (I don't really bother with it, but i really want to now.) Definitely has me curious on how the events of the keyblade war came to be and how it will tie into the main story it's just too bad we didn't get more meat with Mickey and Aqua's story, I really wanted to see what Mickey had planned, but he was only in there for a few minutes. (really sounds bad lol)

I mean it's awesome to see all the effects and the shader in action for what we can expect graphically in KH3. But as far as story, we got close to nothing besides the back cover and that could lead anywhere lol.

There's a lot they would need to tie into the main series in some way and more events to add in leading into the keyblade war, but as far as plot it seems pretty straight forward. Makes a lot more sense than DDD.

So the master mentions a lot about how he may disappear at some point and gives his disciples specific tasks to guide their way along with a book of prophecies. When he talks to Luxu about the book it appears they are directly involved with its creation and he then gives him a mysterious box that must not be opened. When I first saw the backstory, my thoughts were it was somehow connected to kingdom hearts and the keyblade war, but I think it has more to do with the master or an apprentice somehow. The nameless keyblade (xehanort's keyblade) has the master's eye in it so he can see the future, what if the master is Luxu, or one of his apprentices? My theory is the master released his own heart and somehow put himself in the box so that he could travel in time to create the book and see the future. This would explain why Luxu can't get a copy of the book since it would create a paradox and maybe the box contains his nobody/body and when he goes back in time the master disappears so that eventually he can return to his body and become the key to settle a future conflict. It's definitely annoying and I hate kh's time travel because the rules go all over the place, but it has to be involved with the book to make sense. Well rack your minds' on this shit and see if you spotted anything.

yea, my guess is it's just another excuse to have sora in a position where he needs to regain all his magic and start at level 1 .. again. it's too bad they didn't make kairi the one, it'd be a nice change of pace and it'd be cool to have your first intro to sora in kh3 being his new appearance with all the new powers.

oh shit, now that i look at it, I have to say 2019. I assume this will be a bigger game than 2, but from the sound of it he may have up to big hero 6 done, which already gives us like 3-6 worlds finished. Progress doesn't sound too bad.

my guess is 2018. A lot of places are even saying this year, which may not be impossible considering we've seen like nothing for 2 years, but I wouldn't bet on it.

i think you're looking too far into it .. the main issue I have is still how it works and what he's doing. he can only bring xemnas and ansem into the dark and sleeping realm right? or did they only show up because sora was in the past?

The gameplay looks amazing, but once things get close up, you can tell the quality in cinematic scenes dropped a pretty good bit from Luminous.
