Its not happening. The graphics may look impressive on a DS, but a lot of it is 2d sprites made to imitate a 3d look so that the DS could handle it. That took its own engine to run it. If they were to do a remake, they would have to completely remake it from the ground up. It would be work equivalent to making a new game, but since it wouldnt be a new game it wouldnt make the profits to support the cost of production. If theyre smart, they wont do it. Its not critical that they need to remake it. 3DSs can play the game. Its KHI and II they need to remake because no current gen can play it, and they are crucial to getting into the series.
